Just steps to the surf and sand of Sea Colony's half mile of private beach (and situated between two heated oceanfront pools and next to indoor pool, fitness center and activities), this renovated one-level resort retreat is home to a living and dining area, modern well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bathroom and two bedrooms, including the master suite. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. Accessible without stairs. 3 flat-screen TVs (60' in living room, 50' in master bedroom, 37' in second bedroom), DVD, Blu-ray with Netflix capabilities, Keurig, Wifi. Notes: Tile floors in the living areas and carpet in the bedrooms.

Sea Colony Dover House vacation

We liked our apartment very much but were disappointed there was no garbage disposal. Seems like an important part of kitchens found in other rentals we've used. We loved having the linen and towel package with beds already made! View of the ocean was lovely especially the sunrise we saw. Thank you for the ease of check-in and check-out.

Vacasa in general!

This unit was very nice for the most part. However dealing with Vacasa itself over a problem was less than desirable. We were not informed of construction going on until three days after we arrived, of course that construction was going on already when that happened! Compensation was not really acceptable!

well stocked kitchen and get view but not clean

The condo was cute but it was dirty when we got there. There was a lot of dirt and sand throughout the condo and the carpets also had a lot of soil on them as well. The kitchen and bathrooms had not been cleaned either. The return vent for the AC had about an inch thick of dust on it as well. Also the AC did not really work in the back bedroom. We had to keep the door open to keep it cool in there. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and the view from the condo was great!

Beautiful view

This condo has a great view of the beach. From the balcony you can see two swimming pools which were closed during our stay. The condo itself was clean and had almost everything you would need for a comfortable visit. There were a few things that lead me to only give 4 stars. The master shower needs recaulking & a thorough cleaning. The sheets are pretty worn and even a bit stained. The microwave was not working but every other kitchen tool and utensil was present, with the exception of enough trash bags. There are tons of chairs, 3 televisions and a Keurig coffee machine. The wifi works, there's a dedicated parking space that is challenging to locate, & a lot of beachy decorations. All in all it was a good rental.

The place was nice. Great view and exactly what we needed. Nice table for our family to eat at and the master has great space. Here’s what I wish was different— trash bags were provided and the dishwasher emptied from the previous tenants by the cleaning ladies. Being on vacay I don’t think you should have to unload someone else’s dishes.

Great location. We did not see the ocean because it was dense fog the entire time we were there, but we could hear the ocean which was great! Very comfortable condo. Had everything in the kitchen we could have possibly needed. Would definitely recommend and will rent again.

This unit is well appointed with all the necessities of home and decorated nicely. The kitchen sink only lacked garbage disposal and spray arm but was otherwise very functional. The bathrooms definitely need to be updated and grab bars would make their use safer for older adults. The storage in the bathrooms was limited.

We have rented this home several times in past years. It is in desperate need of some updates! A deep clean would be a good start. The place was quite dirty upon arrival with very sandy/dirty floors throughout inside and on balcony. A boogie board covered with sand was left behind as well. Balcony chairs are very rusty and most uncomfortable. The very large balcony table takes up much of the space and the 6 chairs and chaise lounge fill the rest. No room to move around. Coffee machine did not work. The small pantry/ washer and dryer room closet shelves were full of various crap leaving no room for our dry goods and supplies. Dirt, crumbs and sand all over pantry and kitchen floor. Cheerios, crumbs and playing cards under couches and behind doors. Washer and dryer were replaced 6 days into our stay. Old dryer did not dry and had no screen. HVAC system has a loud banging at start up which wakes you up many times throughout the night. Master bedroom dresser drawers fall out when opened and were filled with previous guests hair. Master closet is filled top to bottom with miscellaneous old throw pillows and bedding leaving no room for our clothing/ suitcases. Master bathroom was dirty and shower moldy. Bath mat grungy. Bed not great! This is a great home in great community with wonderful amenities and perfect views BUT needs to be updated.

Nice place but with some issues...

Well appointed condo in one of the best buildings in Sea Colony. Up to date appliances and nice "beachy" furnishings. That said, we were really disappointed with the cleanliness of the place - sand on floors, a melting popsicle and cigarette butts on the patio, and very dirty rugs upon our arrival. The floor had a patina of dirt so significant that our feet became black just from walking around. This place needs to be deep cleaned with some regularity. Gross. Also hair in the bathroom from previous guests. Eww. Also, as cited in a previous review dryer vent is broken. We made a complaint to Vacasa (as the other guest did), but the owner does not appear to be following up. This is unacceptable this price point. It's also a fire hazard for the entire building. Place is nice but lacks "hands on" care.
