Wonderful layout to facilitate good hangs

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We went for celebrating a birthday with a few other families. The staff were very helpful in the planning and deciding to go with this place. We had concerns about the different units making folks feel "separated", but the overly generous communal areas throughout the property had folks always doing things together. Had a fantastic time, the property was beautiful and well-maintained. Only recommendation would be to bring bug spray, else very easy to find, plenty of space for multiple families. Hoping to turn this into a tradition!

Could have / should have been great BUT Traveling with two 6’5” family members; one was quite perturbed to learn the listing boasted two king size beds when there was only one on property. (Still incorrect 8 days after I reported it to the management company.) Ants, spiders and dirty shower curtain! The portable air conditioners are insufficient for summer heat. The pool house smells of mildew and is unusable as a bedroom

Many comments about the desire to return. We will be back soon! The property was the best and well cleaned. We had a phone call prior to check in to ensure we were ready and had the correct codes to the properties. We loved the local wineries and had a blast downtown Atascadero for their Sip and Shop.

The grounds are gorgeous. The furnishes are great. Large kitchen and huge dining room. An extra kitchen and large refrigerator in the Tuscan Villa apt. A few extra fridges in the rooms. Tha management was there for each simple call we made.

Nice Fit for our Family

The four different units worked very well for our family of 8 adults, 3 teens and 1 pre-teen, providing both comfort and privacy needed. The main house was well-equipped and allowed us to gather together, especially for dining. The pool offered a beautiful background for our family photo, and the hot tub was enjoyed by many after it was cleaned.

75th Birthday

Wonderful celebration with kids and grandkids for a 75th birthday.. San Antonio Estate was a perfect venue.. bedrooms in the main house and casita for more privacy.. lovely pool and hot tub ., gathering space for meals.. some furniture could use an upgrade .. outside patios a little more love.. and attention but overall we had a great time and the Estate was ideal. Our hosts gave us champagne which added to our celebration., thanks much

August 2023 Stay

This property was the perfect location for our girls week away for Paso winery tours. It is right off the highway so very easy to get to. It had great accommodations with separate villas and bedrooms for our 9 person group. The furniture was all quality and comfortable. The property does need some TLC. The interior was nice and clean, minus the large window in the kitchen that was taped up with cardboard covering what must have been a window that needed to be replaced. The exterior had cob webs and leaves and debris all over the property- patio, doors, balconies, etc. There were also empty deserted flower containers all around the property. And the large fountain by the front door did not work. These were all minor issues but just added up to seem uncared for on the exterior. If your party is loud, beware! Neighbors called and reported us for being too loud at 8:30 pm and it was three ladies just talking and laughing while using the outdoor hot tub.

Family gathering

This was a good set up for our family gathering. Parts of the property such as access to the pool require climbing stairs without railing which limited our senior members access. Lots of mosquitos bring your bug spray. Great family gathering spaces and individual private quarters was ideal for our group.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here with a couple of families, including a bunch of kids. The separate spaces were fantastic, the pool was tons of fun. We also really loved the outdoor cooking area. A great time was had by all. The only downside was that there were a lot of mosquitoes. That could have simply been the time of year, but there was also some standing water in the fountains and around the property as well: so bring bug spray.

Family wedding weekend

We had room(s) to spare and all of the accommodations were great. The outdoor space is perfect for a gathering like this. We used the BBQ and outdoor fireplace each evening. Plenty of fun things to do in the area and it is perfect for wine tasting. (We loved Epoch, TH and Hansen Vineyards).

LARGE PROPERTY NEEDS MAJOR UPDATES

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would like to address several issues that we had during our long weekend stay at the San Antonio Estate. Overall I would consider this property sub par for the cost/ price point we paid for 4 nights $8500. The very first day on arrival we walked into the home being over 82 degrees; come to find out the A/C was broken and not in working order. Only 1 bedroom upstairs had a ceiling fan which still was not enough to make sleeping without A/C comfortable. There was only 1 working floor fan for the entire home so it was miserable inside the home without A/C or fan circulation. Luckily someone came out the following afternoon and was able to fix the A/C but other issues were noted and not addressed.1. Built in BBQ did not work (it was filthy as well and couldn’t tell the last time it was cleaned)2. Oven in kitchen did not work (unable to prepare food that we brought up for dinner)3. Garbage disposal was broken.4. Upstairs guest shower was broken handle fell right off (little to no water pressure)- unusable 5. Other guest shower had black mold on the ceiling.6. Previous guest's underwear and other clothes were left in the dresser of 1 of the guest rooms.7. Master jet tub does not work.8. The outside patio furniture, cushions, chair were filthy (needed to be power washed)9. Interior of home had cob webs throughout and floors were dirty; ants in kitchen.

August 2022 Stay

The villa was true to its name. Lots of rooms and suites. The pool waterfall was a cherry on top. Comfortable, stunning and relaxing. Kitchen appliances were top notch. We had a professional chef in our group, he was very impressed with the kitchen. The beautiful water fountains did not work, not a huge deal but could’ve helped with the highway noise. We’ll stay here again, no doubt.

July 2022 Stay

Fantastic Estate fit for a king. So many private casitas and villa with full kitchens. The pool and pool house were so much fun and so convenient. The big house was set up beautifully and all the couches were comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked and the commercial stove made it easy to feed our hungry crew. It was a paradise. Especially for a bigger group. We highly recommend the San Antonio estate.
