This charming 3 bed 2 bath beach hideaway is situated in Clearwater that sleeps six people. It's located about 5 minutes drive from the World Famous Clearwater Beach! This quaint, newly renovated, with a gorgeous backyard home offers the perfect "home base" for your next girls/guys epic beach weekend or this year's relaxing family vacay!
A lovely property overall, but there were just a few things that let it down (for us). We found the beds a little uncomfortable, and the air con was incredibly noisy at times. The garden furniture and couch (in the living room) were not in the best shape and could do with being replaced. We found the couch particularly uncomfortable. The kitchen was lovely and was well equipped. Communication was great and checking in and out was easy! Overall, it was great, but it is just looking a little "tired" and could do with some TLC. It is in a fantastic location though and was definitely great value for money based on that! Thank you for a great stay! :)
It was everything that I expected. No surprises. A nice bottle of wine waiting for us too. The only thing I would suggest is more cutlery, some hand towels and dish towels. Other than that it was perfect. Thanks!
Pros: beds were comfortable, sheets were clean, fridge was clean, things were organized, they had garbage bags & other things which was nice so that we didn't have to run to the store Immediately. Highchair & pack n play were there to use which was really nice. Washer worked. Shower In master was great. They had sand toys, beach toys, & beach accessories to use which was great.Cons: as soon as we walked In, It smelled like animal urine. floors were extremely dirty. We had to wear shoes or our feet were black. I found 2 mops, but they were covered In dirt/dust/nasty stuff(not usable). Counters were dirty. The motion lights would turn on even when no one would walk by which really sucked for our kids room during the night. I wouldn't get your hopes up on having clean clothes right when you need them. Dryer took 3 days to dry 1 load of laundry. It was very hot In there which made It hard to sleep.Overall It was a place to sleep, I wouldn't stay there again.
You could tell the property had not been rented in a while as it was dirty when we arrived. Dead bugs on the window sills and floor, dusty appliances in the kitchen and no attempt to prepare the back patio for guests not to mention the condition of the bathrooms/shower. The towels they left for us to use were actually very stained and no longer white. Cute home and cute layout but sorry to say not a place I will stay again.
Needs cleaning and improvement, all issues were described in email and photos were provided as well. I guess at least 40% refund should be done after all issues that were found.
Property was not prepared for a family of more than four. The living room needs an additional couch for large families. We did not have enough wash clothes and there were only 4 towels available. Contacted the owner. The owner seemed bothered and told me to see if I could get into a locked closet. I got in without damaging the door. Suggestion: hide a key somewhere for instances like this. The washer/dryer took for ever to dry towels. The Master Suite bathroom did not have a privacy door for the shower/toilet and this caused some issues with getting ready go somewhere or getting ready for bed. Again, not a bad place and we made it work, itâs just not ready for more than a four person stay. Clearwater/Tampa was great even though is was one of the coldest weeks on record!
The pictures do NOT show the true condition of this house. We arrived to a neighborhood that was scary to say the least. The house was filthy! There were ants on the counter top, in cabinets, and in both showers. There were crumbs left in two cabinets. Literally, there was only a salt and pepper shaker. Dishes were cheap and glasses were all smudged. I had to re-wash all by hand before using. There are NO ceiling fans in the entire house. How can anyone live in Florida without a ceiling fan?!?!? Bedrooms were hot. Both bathrooms were so bad that I wore my sandals when taking a shower. I wouldn't give my dog a bath in the shower/tub combo. The ice/water machine in the refrigerator don't work. I did contact the host and he advised that the ice machine is broke, and there is a water jug in the refrigerator. Would have been nice to have been told no ice so we could have picked some up at the store. Would NEVER stay here again.
The house was super cute, as the pictures would show. Located on a dead end street so its pretty quite. Location was great because itâs within minutes from groceries, gas, coffee and donuts and the beach (Pier 60). Ritas ice cream shop was 2 minutes walking distance. Perfect for the end of your day! The biggest downfall was cleanliness. I checked multiple towels before I found one without hair and/or stains. I found multiple hairwads on the floor, and some crusted food on the kitchen counter. The bedroom drawers had what looked like dog hair and earrings left behind. The bathtub could be updatedâŠwas old so even if it was clean I couldnât tell :( cleanliness wasnât the worst but definitely not great! If that was resolved I would stay here again! On a positive note, the beach chairs and coolers available was very useful and appreciated! And good choice of complimentary wine! :)
Enjoyed our stay, Weather was cooler than anticipated, Could not get anything on living room TV, had to buy an antenna. Reminded us of the old days moving the antenna around to get reception.
Great location comfortable beds. Cleanliness was ok, property manager was amazing. Quick response and very understanding would definitely stay here again and highly recommend because of that.
Property was conveniently located near the bridge to Clearwater Beach. Great ice cream shop on the corner of the street. Located next door to a firehouse but did not notice the fire truck sirens. Could tell it is an older house that has been updated. The couch was very uncomfortable. Beds were good. Master bathroom shower leaks when using. Included some pop up chairs but they were not suitable for the beach. Overall, enjoyed the stay for the price range.
First off, I donât feel like Iâm one of those people who are super picky about places I stay. Iâve stayed in a $12 a night hotel in Thailand and had no problem with it.
At first glance, it looks super cute and comfortable. However, after checking into this property and with closer inspection we were VERY underwhelmed. First thing we noticed driving in, the neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy and run down. Constant police and of course fire engine sirens as it was literally kitty corner from a fire department. Very difficult to sleep because of that, not to mention the poor quality pillows and beds. The kitchen looked nice, but the inside of the fridge was dirty, the lower drawer in the oven was dirty with crumbs, and overall we were very disappointed with its lack of basic spices and cookware. I donât expect a fully stocked kitchen, but there is usually a few extra spices other than just salt and pepper. Plan to bring or purchase your own TP, soap, and paper towels. They provide you with a starter roll of TP, but that was it. We got one small travel size bar soap for the three sinks in the house. We stayed there 2 nights and none of us showered because of how dirty looking the shower and tub were. White soap scum residue on the master shower, and a tub with a big nasty hair ball sitting in it that was old and patched up. I don't have enough room to go over everything, but ultimately, if you can pay to stay somewhere else, do it! It will be worth the extra money.
Overall a great experience with the property owner. Excellent communication and easy to work with. The location is just a few miles from Clearwater Beach. That was great! I will note it sits near the fire dept so donât be alarmed when you hear sirens.
Came to Clearwater for my sons wedding. The location was excellent, close to the beach. Beds were comfortable and the place was very roomy for 6 adults. Would stay here again when we come back to visit.
