This 3rd floor unit used to store the Ledger’s Newspaper dating back to 1850s. It’s now a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom penthouse with all the modern amenities including stainless steel appliances, Chef’s gas stove, in unit front load washer and dryer, on demand water heater, and HVac system. The beautiful white quartz island boasts seating for 4 and double sided cabinetry for ample storage. The high ceiling, exposed wood beams and bricks brings elegance and historical sense. The unit has an open floor plan which boasts a view of downtown on one side and Ohio River and the beautiful Simon Kenton bridge on the other. The addition of Trex decking not only offers an expansive outdoor area but even more impressive view of the river and bridge from this 3rd floor unit. This unit is in the heart of the beautiful Maysville Entertainment District. Restaurant, bars, and stores are just a walking distance. Public parking is plenty directly behind the building. This historic unit has a rather steep stairs so I caution anyone who has difficulty climbing up.

The best VRBO and the best host too!

This is by far the best little vrbo in Maysville and elsewhere too! We loved the loft feel, the openness and the balcony too...plus it's newly renovated!! The host is super sweet and extremely prompt with any questions or concerns and most of all genuine. Wforward to staying here again and again

Great Property

Hard to believe such a great place is available in the small town I was born and raised in. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. The hosts were great and helped me out when I needed it. We will definitely return and I highly recommend this place.

Very cute!

Perfect place for the two of us to stay while in town for a wedding. Cute shops, food, etc. right down the stairs. Pretty view of the river and Simon Kenton Bridge.

It was very clean and inviting. It has a great deck that overlooks the river. The owners were super nice. The town had lots of history. It was a nice weekend get away .

Convenient and spaces for family of 5

Very nice place. Everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable. It definitely had everything we needed. Our family lives in Ohio so it was only a short drive. Definitely will be back when visiting family in Ohio.

Girls' Trip!

Beautifully renovated is an understatement! Perfect inside and out, every need met. Very friendly, helpful owners. It looks like the downtown is making a comeback, would love to see it in a couple years. Wouldn't stay anywhere but here!

Perfect Get Away

We came to Maysville from Indiana to celebrate a friend’s birthday whose family is from the area. I found the apartment on Vrbo and it was everything we expected and then some!! Beautiful apartment, quaint neighborhood, wonderful restaurants within walking distance, and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive. I will say the stairs are every bit as steep as everyone describes, but we managed without any issues. I do caution anyone with limited abilities to consider the stairs before booking. Overall, a weekend filled with southern hospitality in a perfect location!

This unit was as advertised. Daisy and her husband Steve have done a superb job renovating this unit. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at night overlooking the river. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful loft!

My husband had been staying in a depressing hotel for the last several months while working in the area. I came to visit him and booked loft, which was nearly the same price as the hotel. It was very beautiful and I really didn’t want to leave! The view off the deck is lovely and the tall ceilings and windows allowed sunlight throughout!

This unit is a destination in itself

We came to this unit after a two day road trip with a three year old. What a relief to arrive at a clean and comfortable place that is also beautiful and inspiring. I loved walking the pretty streets of downtown Maysville and there was some great weather, yet on cold days staying in this unit is a vacation in itself. With the view of the Ohio River and a beautiful bridge, welcoming furniture, television, and a well-equipped kitchen it was wonderful to just relax inside the unit and enjoy it.

Maysville Reunion

Our stay was truly fantastic! Daisy and Steve proved to be exceptional hosts, creating an atmosphere that made it seem like we'd been friends for ages. Their Flower/Gift Shop downstairs was a convenient option if anything was needed, but honestly, everything was flawless. The apartment was impeccably clean, adorned with charming decorations, situated at the heart of the city, and had that comforting feeling of home. Sitting on the balcony, we relished the picturesque view of the Ohio River. Without a doubt, we plan to revisit Maysville soon, and undoubtedly, Daisy and Steve will be our first choice to contact!

Great stay to explore Maysville

This is a great place to stay in Maysville. The unit has a very nice open layout with the two bedrooms on opposite ends. It was larger than we expected. It's furnished with all you need. Clean, modern, tastefully done. A lot of counter space in the kitchen, and has a gas stove if you like cooking. Conveniently located, we were able to walk to shops, restaurants, museums, and the river. Plus we were able to do a bit of bourbon tasting at some of the local places which was a great introduction for us, being new to the area...and not have to drive! One thing to note as is mentioned in other reviews, there are steep narrow stairs to navigate. Not an issue for us, but may be for some.

What a View

Maysville is such a cute river town! The location of this loft is wonderful. The loft is spacious and has everything you need for your stay. Very clean and inviting. One thing to note, if you have any issues with stairs, this is not the place for you. While we had no issues, something to consider.
