Enjoy this wonderful and inviting property overlooking the scenic mountain views and beautiful Lake Chatuge!
The property is located in the heart of downtown Hiawassee with easy access to shops and restaurants. Not to mention a quick walk to Dairy Queen for an ice cream! Just minutes from the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, and a public recreation area that includes both tennis and amazing pickle ball courts! We are a quick drive to Brasstown Bald, Brasstown Valley Resort, Chatuge Shores Golf Course and the views at Bell Mountain.

You will fall in love with both the indoor and outdoor space of this property. The house is meticulously maintained, beautifully decorated and very clean!
The main floor includes the master bedroom and an open family room, dinning room and kitchen area. You can access the covered back porch to enjoy your cocktail or coffee on our large porch swing, and gas fire pit as you overlook the lake and large grassy back yard, a perfect spot to throw the football or play a game of corn hole. The large wood burning stone fire pit is read for a of family gatherings and s'mores!
Downstairs you will find a large great room perfect for movies and hanging out, 2 bedrooms and fun bunk nook.

Family Weekend

Can't thank our host enough for providing her Hiawassee home for us. She was excellent with communication, the location and layout of the house was perfect for our needs, very clean, everything just as we'd hoped for. All questions and directions for check in, check out and house rules were very clear. Our family had a fabulous weekend here! I have already recommended this to a few friends. Thank you!!

Relaxation at it’s finest

The house was in a great location. So many amenities included; fully stocked kitchen, paddle boards, kayaks, several life jackets in various sizes. We had 5 adults and two teens and we never felt like we were cramped for space. Loved the back decks overlooking the lake!! Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous Mountain Home on Lake Chatuge

This was our second time, in the past year, staying at this beautiful mountain home that sits directly on Lake Chatuge. The back deck and patio is great for entertaining and the open floor plan inside is great for hosting inside as well. Large master and downstairs bedrooms, large showers and everything you need to cook and have a great time. We will be back!!

Spotless & Cozy

Awesome property! Clean peaceful location. The grassy area behind the property was an added plus for the kids to throw balls and hang out! The linens and towels were of nice quality. We did not see or have access to the grills that were mentioned in the resident binder. Owner was very responsive regarding an AC issue we had and the issue was rectified immediately! A property we will definitely reserve again!!!!

Thanksgiving Getaway

Beautiful location and home. Very convenient to town. Great for a family with kids. We had all adults, so the top bunk proved very interesting for a 60 year old female! House was very comfortable. May want to consider a few blankets for the colder nights. It was in the 30s one or two nights while we were there. Would love to see the lake around the house during the summer. All in all, enjoyed our visit. Thank you!

Gorgeous lake house

Absolutely loved this home! Beautiful lake view from the entire back of the house. Loved the floor plan and open concept, numerous beds, two full decks outside and numerous places to gather as a group, as there was a large living room, dining room and den downstairs, along with the huge back yard and fire pit right next to the lake. We all had a very relaxing and enjoyable long weekend. Having the boat dock was so convenient for the boat as well. Host was fast with responding and easily accessible. We will definitely be back!

Very nice, but our big issue was the internet only worked 1/2 of the time. We called right was to our host and there was nothing she could do. This was VERY disappointing.

Weekend getaway

We had a quality weekend getaway with our friends. The location is quiet and very close to local stores and a boat rental marina. Will definitely keep this in mind for future visits. Only thing we were surprised by was that the amenities listed a grill but it was as part of the Inside features so I assume it meant the stove top or it was in reference to the grip grate that can be put over the fire pit.
