Adorable house with a little something for everyone! Our main floor offers bedroom 1 of 3 with a queen bed. Upstairs you will find the additional two small bedrooms, one holds a queen bed, and the second holds 2 twin beds (upstairs are narrow with a low overhead). Hardwood floors and many updates make this Cape Cod boast Northern Michigan charm. With the finished, heated, detached studio area, there is nearly 1,500 square ft of living space to enjoy. Sit next to the custom fire pit, under the dark sky while listening to the waves lapping at the shoreline only a couple of hundred feet away. Weather turn dark and gloomy? Enjoy a beverage on the covered back porch while you wait for the sun to come back.

Our detached "Squirrels Nest" area offers a wide range of very flexible uses, all designed for your best Northern Michigan experience in mind. Open the doors WIDE to the outside to breath in the fresh Bay air. This is a once in a lifetime chance to play pool, whilst staring out over Grand Traverse Bay! Within the Squirrels Nest you will find a ping pong / pool table, arcade game machines, TV with wifi streaming options, a large sectional, mini fridge, coffee station, and family games.

Washer and Dry on site, in the basement. Use caution, stairs are steep and deep.

**We do NOT have access to the shore line with our property. The beach across the street is private property and trespassers will be ticketed. We do have beaches very close, including the popular beaches at Elmwood Park, Roadside Park & Beach M-22, just north of Cherry Bend Drive and the West End beach in Traverse City.

**Home has exterior flood cameras for safety purposes

The Neighborhood:
Located on the popular M22 scenic highway! Perfect for a lazy Sunday drive or a site-seeing trip, M22 is 116.7 miles long and follows the Lake Michigan shoreline of the Leelanau Peninsula, making up a portion of the Lake Michigan Circle Tour. It also passes through the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Beautiful views and fun destinations along the way!

Getting Around:
You will need a vehicle to get around. It is 10 minutes away from downtown Traverse City and 15 minutes to Sutton's Bay.

Other Things to Note:
The view of the water is awesome from our place, but we do not own the rights to the shore line. Please respect our neighbors by not trespassing at the water’s edge or on the docks in front of our home. We do have great beaches just down the road. We ask that when coming up from the beach that you rinse your feet and please enter the house through the back entrance.

Check-In: Is at 4pm (Early Check-in is not possible due to our cleaning crew needing to complete their work)
Check-Out: Is at 10am (We are unable to accommodate late check-out, our cleaning service will arrive at the house promptly at 10 AM.)

*Please note when booking you will incur the following charges under Required Fees:
- Processing Fee: 3%
- Cleaning Fee: $325
In addition, you will also be charged with a Security Deposit of $1000 fully refundable within 14 days of your stay, as long as no damages occur.
