Ceci est notre chalet familial que nous avons entièrement rénové en 2008. Nous avons décidé de le louer pendant les temps que nous ne sommes pas en mesure d'en profiter. Si vous cherchez un endroit près de Traverse City qui est sur un lac calme - ce est votre place! Ceci est une partie d'une petite station qui a aussi quelques autres chalets à louer.

Ce chalet confortable dispose de 3 chambres et une salle de bains. Il est literie pour 11 personnes, mais il est probablement le plus confortable pour une famille de 6. Un plan d'étage ouvert avec une belle cuisine, salle à manger et salon. Il ya une très grande terrasse qui dispose de trois aires de repos pour les repas ainsi que de chaises pour se détendre. Il ya aussi une zone de la fosse de feu avec une balançoire et des chaises. Nous avons aussi 4 kayaks simples et un bateau à aubes de 2 personnes que vous pourrez utiliser gratuitement. Pour ceux avec des enfants, nous avons aussi une cabane d'enfant qu'ils apprécieront. (Adultes peuvent aussi profiter de la terrasse supérieure de ce aussi bien pour une belle vue sur le lac tout en buvant votre café du matin.) S'il vous plaît noter qu'il n'y a pas d'internet ou de la climatisation. Nous avons la télévision par satellite nouvelle à partir de 2015.
Pont Dock sur l'eau (remplace le quai en bois sur les photos) par un large espace pour les chaises, assis sur l'eau (Ceci est partagé avec un voisin - mais ils ne louons pas et ne sont de temps en temps.)

Il ya tellement de choses amusantes à faire dans la région de Traverse City.

Très près du chalet ya plusieurs choix:
- Long Lake Inn Boones
- Moomers Ice Cream
- Interlochen

Traverse City est juste un court conducteur et offre commerciale du centre ville, de plusieurs restaurants et du secteur riverain.

Il ya aussi de nombreuses villes mignon long de la péninsule ainsi que caves et des casinos. Vous ne serez pas déçu dans ce domaine!

Awesome Up North Stay!

We loved staying at Lisa and Kevin’s place! The setting was perfect, the cottage was thoughtfully put together, and the location was awesome! We hope to come back some day!

Cozy cottage by the lake

We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage suit our needs perfectly. Drive to Traverse City wineries and restaurants were 15-25mins. We love the lake view but due to the weather we could not partake in the water activities. We would definitely like to stay again to enjoy the lake.

Relaxing week on the lake

We had a great week in Traverse City! The cottage was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The kids loved the paddle boards and kids cabin. We won’t hesitate to stay again.

Calm TC getaway

What a lovely cabin! We loved everything about our stay. The cabin is recently updated and feels very clean and comfortable. It’s close enough to traverse city but still remote enough that you feel relaxed. The dock was lovely to sit on. Our dog loved running around the property and napping on the dock. It definitely feels like someone’s home that is taken care of. We can’t wait to come back.

Very quiet & pleasant stay at well equipped cottage

Bass lake was so quiet that you would think you were in Quetico. The loons agreed. The cottage was so well equipped you could fly in and use it. The checkin and owner communications were superb. Enjoyed the kayaks & paddle boards. Would definitely use again.

Great week at the cottage!

My family and I loved this cabin! A very easy and convenient drive to Traverse City. The kayaks and SUP were so fun and my kids loved the sandy beach. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It has just about everything you’d need in the kitchen! My only thing I’d bring to the attention of future renters is there isn’t laundry so pack accordingly and be prepared for sandy kids ☺️ Would definitely recommend this to others and stay again!

Everything you need and more for a great weekend up north

This was the perfect spot for our annual family gathering. We love the area and the cabin and location were amazing. Cabin was stocked full of everything needed for a great stay, kitchen, sunscreen, games, kayaks. Not to mention the beautiful outdoor spaces and views. Truly relaxing and peaceful. And pet friendly. Highly recommend.

Great rental!

Very nice cabin on Bass Lake. Perfect, quiet location. Convenient to Traverse City, wineries, the Dunes. The lake was wonderful. So nice to have kayaks, paddle boards, grill, fire pit, tons of outdoor seating available. The owners provided so much, it made the stay so much easier and enjoyable. Thanks for sharing! Very comfortable beds too! Highly recommend!

Nice time at Northern Michigan cottage

The property is very much as advertised... pretty basic small 3 bed rooms with one bath house. Lots of toys for kids and adults, the owners really seemed to make an effort to be communicative and helpful and make the place enjoyable with some nice touches (kids noticed the "fairy houses" in yard for example). It was also nice to be able to access the lake on days we were not out and about.

Relaxing piece of heaven

Been coming to Traverse City since I was a kid. Never been to Bass lake. Thank you so much for your warm communication and all the conveniences. We paddle boarded and kayaked for the first time and the lake was just so peaceful! We loved the area and the neighbors we met!

Fun, relaxing and a beautiful view!

We had a such a fun, relaxing week! The cottage is in a perfect location, right on the water with gorgeous views from the windows and large deck. We enjoyed the kayaks, fishing, the fire pit and grilling on the deck. It is a cute cottage--clean and very well stocked and not far from restaurants, grocery, ice cream and Traverse City. We would definitely recommend this rental to friends!

Clean, well stocked and great rental cottage...you wont be dissappointed!

This was our second year in a row to rent this property. We loved it just as much the second time around. We have three teenage daughters and they love coming up here. The cottage is very clean and roomy for a smaller cottage. Lots of sleeping room and the huge deck doubles the living space of this nice cottage. They have very nice water toys and the kayaks were a big hit. The kitchen is stocked with pretty much every utensil you would need. The owners are very helpful and answered all of our questions very promptly prior to and even during our stay. This is a very quiet lake and feel like you have you own lake. Traverse City is just a few miles away as is Lake MI. It is hard to describe the quaintness of it all, but it is a great place for a vacation. Highly recommend it.

Great location, relaxing setting

We enjoyed our stay, and I think the value is good considering you have a great deck and outdoor facilities including beach, firepit, kayaks, etc. The cabin was well stocked with spices for cooking, and lots of life jackets, fishing poles, water toys for the kids, everything we needed for outdoor fun! The kids were entertained for hours on end with the lake and kids cabin and woods to explore (watch out for poison ivy!) That being said there were a few downsides. The rooms are really small, like so small it was hard to walk around the bed, and the shower is tiny with low water pressure. Also wasn’t expecting the exterior to have so much chipping paint which made us a little worried as we drove up and saw how rough the outside of the cabin looked. But the place is very homey, and the beds were comfortable. There was sand all over the master bedroom comforter but we brushed it off. The lack of laundry became a big inconvenience, but for 6 days we made it work! Overall we had a fantastic week in TC, there are so many fun things to do, and the days we stayed in and hung out at the cabin we had a blast as well. We were able to grill and cook a lot of great meals in the kitchen. We loved the peaceful setting, enjoyed sipping coffee and reading on the porch each morning. The bottom step off the porch is really high though. I almost fell a few times... and twisted my knee/ankle once. We had a great week though, aside from the few minor issues we had. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone who plans to spend most of their time outside, or anyone looking for a great lakefront spot on a budget.

Cozy cabin on the water close to Traverse City

Great experience overall. Lisa was very responsive and a very good host. Approximate 15 minutes away from downtown Traverse City and about 40 minutes from Torch Lake. I would recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Perfect family getaway in nature but near Traverse coty

We had a fabulous time. My husband and I and our two teenage daughters plus golden retriever had a great time! Loved being right on Bass Lake. We saw a family of wild turkeys, my husband caught fish, and we explored TC and fishtown and had a cozy family vacation. Winner!!!

Peaceful Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the King's cottage. We are a family of four (two kids, ages 5 and 7), plus my sister and her boyfriend. So six in total. The rooms are very tight, but we made it work. The cottage is laid out thoughtfully and everything was well stocked when we arrived. Very nice not having to bring things like softsoap or garbage bags. For us, having access to kayaks every day was a real treat. We spotted loons, all kinds of warblers and songbirds, and a bald eagle. It'd be nice if there were one or two double kayaks (they are all single), but my husband and I each took a kid with us and again, we made it work. The paddle boat was difficult to maneuver but we got some great laughs out of going in circles in the lake. The lake is very shallow and warm, especially by August. The kids loved playing on the beach and we could trust them to play in the water because there were no drop offs or current. However, there is lots of seaweed and, with frequent water snake sightings, we ended up going into TC and using the public beach a couple of times for better swimming (esp for the adults). The deck was absolutely perfect for meals and relaxing. The new grill worked just great. Neighbors were friendly and quiet. The only thing that would have made the stay easier is a washer/dryer, but we used a laundromat 10 minutes away mid-week to get us through. Not a big deal. We made lots of great memories, ate way too many s'mores, and are grateful to have discovered Bass Lake and this cottage!

Relaxing and beautiful

This was our first time renting a cottage and it completely met our expectations! We loved Bass Lake, especially anchoring our boat at the sand bar and swimming. The King’s cottage is very nice and cozy. We made a lot of wonderful memories!

Peaceful and relaxing stay

A tranquil spot to truly relax and enjoy a beautiful lake, and yet still be close enough to the fun in Traverse City. Our family enjoyed kayaking, an evening fire on the ample sandy beach, and dining outdoors with all of the comfy seating on the deck. We were amazed at the lack of mosquitoes! A great vacation spot.

We had an opportunity to buy this small resort with a few other partners and we each renovated the cabins that we chose. It has been enjoyable to watch the place transform into our own little paradise. We love how close it is to Traverse City, yet so quiet and peaceful.

Our cottage is only 2-1/2 hours from our home, so it makes it easy to make a quick weekend getaway trip. We love all the unique things that Traverse City has to offer.
