Just What We Needed

My wife and I had been hoping to get in a trip to Maine before the end of the season and this cottage was just what we needed. Pine Point is one of our favorite areas of Maine and we've been curious about these little cottages for years. It was fun to finally stay in one and we really enjoyed the bright but cozy interior. The location is great with easy access to the beach and all of Pine Point's restaurants. The cottage is also off the street, which helps with road noise.

Great Beach Time

This is a cute cottage, well appointed, and just as shown in the photos. It is a short walk to the beach, so very convenient. You have very little space to store your clothes, (the closet is full of excess bedding, and cleaning equipment/product) so it is a bit like living out of a suitcase. And if you don't like sleeping on foam pillows, you should plan to bring your own pillows. Overall, a very relaxing place to be, quiet, and parking is adequate.

No hot water

They told us there wouldn’t be hot water so we canceled. Have yet to see a refund. That’s really low rent and bad for business. My default on a bad location is to say nothing. But, you have to be an above board operator. No stay due to your problem and no refund? That’s low. You should avoid these folks like the plague.

Great summer getaway

This is an adorable tiny cottage that makes a perfect getaway for 2 people. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is small but very well outfitted with nice appliances. The owners are thoughtful and responsive. We enjoyed the quietness of the surroundings. Would love to come back!

The perfect cottage

We just LOVE our girls week cottage as evidenced by our 3rd year in a row coming back. The vottage is perfect, so well equipped, clean and charming. My two daughters and I treat ourselves to a week here each summer. We refuse to leave Maine in the summer but this gets us out of our routine and right on the beach. We LOVE it here. We will be going back for years to come. We love traditions and this is one of our favorites!!!

Relaxing Getaway!

We stayed 4 nights and even though there are 4 other cottages on the property we hardly knew anyone was around. The neighborhood is very quiet and has restaurants within walking distance. Mornings and evenings were amazing on the beach and super close via the public access path diagonally across King street. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable for 2 although the bedroom is quite tight. We will be back!

Sweet hideaway

It’s a quaint little cottage just a quick walk to beach. Easy drive back into Portland or down to Kennebunkport. Can’t wait to go again!

Tiny bit wonderful

This place is perfect for a couple or just one person. It's wonderfully stocked and so cozy and charming. Minutes walk from an amazing beach and minutes drive to a kinds of yummy places to eat. Would definitely stay again.

Cute town and cottage

Had a lovely long weekend at the cottage. The space is cozy and the bedroom is a bit tight, but very clean and beautifully decorated. Very short walk to a lovely beach. Definitely should have rented a car- it was much harder to get around by Ubers than originally anticipated.

Just PERFECT

This is not our first stay here for a reason. It's AWESOME and literally has EVERYTHING you could ever need tucked into an adorable beach side cottage. It's steps away from the beach. I forgot something after we got settled on the beach and it was 5 min to go back and get it and get back in my chair. We loved our beach time, but also LOVED hanging out in the cottage playing games, reading, and just enjoying our outdoor table space. We also loved strolling through the neighborhood. We only live less than 15 minutes away but we feel like we've travelled across the world. We will DEFINITELY be back again.

Perfect spot

2nd year staying in this adorable little cottage by the sea. Only issue this year was some loud construction across the street, but that is nobody's fault. Hope to return in 2023!

Long Fall Weekend Away From Home

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our long fall weekend stay at the cottage. It's "cozy" in size, but had everything we needed. What struck us first was how absolutely fresh, clean and tidy everything was, including not only the things one sees upon first entering, but also all the appliances and items in the drawers. The location, too, was great, just a short walk across the street to a beautiful beach. And then finally, we found the queen size bed very, very comfortable. As a result, we hope to return during the summer season, and find a nearby rental for our adult children and grandchildren. Our one suggestion to the owners: a towel rack or at least a couple of hooks in the bathroom for towels would be helpful.

Cozy beach cottage

Great location, steps from the beach, cute decor, comfortable bed and living space. Owner was amazing and communicated when we had questions. Perfect for 1 or 2 adults. Bedroom is small but comfortable, and there isn’t much space on one side of the bed to walk around, note one of us had to crawl up and onto the bed due to the small space. Kitchen was great, and the bathroom was spacious given the small size of the cottage.

Cozy and comfortable - perfect for two

Amazing beach cottage

We had a wonderful time. This cottage had everything we needed (except a hair dryer). Parking is actiss the street or on the other side of the little development, so it is a bit of a walk to get things to cottage. Access to the beach is just across the street...so handy and close! Bed and furniture is very comfortable. Place is bright and clean! We hope to come back!

Delightful!!

We were so impressed with this cottage. It is decorated so perfectly right down to the matching Keurig. The owners supplied everything we needed, including coffee and toiletries. We slept great at night, and played all day at the beach..which is literally steps away. My girls loved their selection of sand toys. The owners answered our questions so promptly and were so helpful and welcoming. We had the best weekend ever. It was suppose to be just a weekend on a whim as we didn't know what Scarborough was doing with school when we booked it, but we have decided it's a PERFECT way to spend a fall weekend and we WILL be back!!
