Charming Cottage Steps to Pine Point Bch - 1 mile OOB outside Scarborough w/ AC
Come enjoy New England vibes in this qaint Cottage in Pine Point Beach, Maine. This super cute home is located 20 miles from Portland Jetport just outside of Scarborough, only 2 miles to Old Orchard Beach, and less than 2 hours to skiing.
This rental was perfect for a few day stay in Pine Point. Great location, loved the outdoor table for meals, and host has everything you need for a fun day at the beach. We will definitely rent again!
The cottage is so nice. Easily accessible to beach and restaurants in pine point! Very walkable. The owner, Jason, is very helpful and quick to respond.
Very nice !! Such a great location. Good restaurants in walking distance. Beach is a very short distance down the path. The cottage is beautifully decorated. Perfect for 2 people. And is was quiet too. I would definitely recommend this lodging! Wish we could have stayed longer. Oh, and communication with Jason could not have been better.
This tiny, perfectly located property has everything you need. I would suggest packing light since the bedroom is too small to leave a suitcase open. It is super clean, bright and sunny!!
Lovely, cozy , immaculate cottage equipped with everything necessary and just a two-minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Jason is a wonderful host and replied immediately to my inquiries which was much appreciated . This was our first visit to Pine Point Beach, and we look forward to visiting again!
Thank you for the perfect place to have a small and impromptu wedding. We were originally going to get married on the beach but it rained the entire day! The place was beautiful and cozy.
Iâve been coming to Pine Point for almost 30 years with my family and decided to take my husband here for our âbaby moonâ as one last get away. Iâve always dreamed of staying in these cottages and so happy it worked out. My husband is now just as in love with the area as I am. Jasonâs cottage was the perfect spot for the two of us. Being 8 months pregnant, I was able to conveniently take morning walks around the point, walk to and from the gorgeous beach multiple times a day and to some restaurants. Location was perfect, we had a blast. The cottage was nicely cleaned upon arrival, and had all the necessary amenities. We didnât cook in, but the kitchen wouldâve still worked perfectly if we decided to do so. Everything was nicely upgraded, and very coastal New England. The bed was comfortable and the AC easily cooled the entire place down. It was still close enough to the water and cool at night to be able to leave the windows open and hear the waves too. Very relaxing atmosphere. Jason was in frequent contact checking in with us despite traveling himself so we knew we could reach out if needed, although we had no concerns. We really enjoyed this cottage and canât wait to be back!
Cottage is great. Clean and comfortable for 2 adults and small child. Location canât be beat. 2 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend staying here if you want a nice Maine experience. Also plenty of food options within 5 minute walk.
This was our second time staying at "The Moorings". Super squeaky clean, and well curated decor in every room. Cozy and intimate. Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, everything seemed brand new. We love the short walk to the beach and local seafood restaurants. We were lucky to have sunrise and low tide coincide to enjoy an early morning walk to the exposed point. We'll be back!
Location is perfect and allows you to take advantage of everything the area has to offer-beach is only steps away and can walk to many restaurants. Cottage is cute but small for 3 people - would be perfect for 2 people since a/c unit is in living room and you need to keep the bedroom door open to take advantage of the air.
Loved the little cottage! The bed was very comfortable as was the living room. It's right across the street from the beach. We took our bottle of wine and some cups out and enjoyed the sunset more than once. Perfect location!
We had a great stay. The cottage was super cute. Especially the sanddollar wallpaper in the bathroom. Years ago we had stayed in the cottages on the other side of the big house which they have subsequently knocked down and built a house on the property. That area doesn't change and feels like home. My mom was with me and lived on Ross Road for a number of years. t
Thank you. we plan to visit again.
Jason & Jacqueline, we enjoyed our stay at the cottage very much. Just to mention the exterior door handle worked to open the cottage door, however when pulling it to leave it fell off in our hand. Think it was missing a screw, just a FYI.
Thanks again,
Linda & Ernie
