Loved this little cottage!

It was just right! Short walk to beach and lobster pound, very clean, and nice neighbors and neighborhood. I would 100% stay here again. The property manager came to make sure everything was ok. Very welcoming.

Check-in is hassle free and the location can't be beat! We love Pine Point! The beach is so close and we love all the restaurant choices that are just a short walk away! This cottage is adorable and we loved the addition of the washer and dryer! A week at the beach with clean and dry towels makes a world of difference! Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!

Nice little beach cottage

Short walk to the beach, and far enough away from the center of Old Orchard Beach that we didn't feel like we were surrounded by crowds the whole time. Love walking up to the Pine Point end of the beach!

Such a great cottage by the beach

This place has everything you could need. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked. The washer/dryer was such a great addition! The porch in the sunshine is just lovely and the location is unbeatable! It’s really a lovely cottage and we hope to stay there again next year!

We had a lovely time. The cottage has been spiffed up since last year, and it was just fine then. I enjoyed being able to walk to the beach in the morning by myself while my sister and cousin enjoyed their morning routines. It was an especially hot and dry week, great beach weather, but the mini-split kept us cool indoors when we needed it. The cottage is also a short walk from great take-out at the Bayley seafood market--we enjoyed wonderful seafood "at home."

Great Location & Cute Cottage

Easy walk to beach. Quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to Salty Bay restaurant which was amazing. Clean cottage with everything you need- but bring K-cups! Perfect for a family of 4 to beach it every day. Thank you!!

The check-in was slick- very easy with owner's directions. Kitchen was awesome- everything we could ask for and didn't have to. Property manager brought us a brand-new coffee maker because the other one was broken. The washer and dryer were so helpful. Everything was more than perfect, except the floors weren't very clean. I cleaned the vacuum cleaner lint holder before I even used it. I am sure the cottage was very clean after we left. Wi-Fi was good. Distance to beach was not bad- even for my handicapped husband. We enjoyed our stay and the cottage very much.

Cottage OOB

The location is fabulous. The accommodations were small but really ok for our needs, we are a family of 3. The odor in the cottage was not pleasant. According to the property owner/manager, it was recently renovated. My personal opinion is that the smell may be inside the wood or in the bones of the house and we were not able to escape or avoid the smell. Just a caution to future renters. We were mostly outside so we didn't have to sit in it.

Great location, cute cottage, pet friendly, but.....the bathroom :-(

This cottage is in a wonderful location! The walk to the beautiful beach is less than 5 minutes and there are also several restaurants within walking distance. The yard is cute and it is so nice sitting out on the deck. Neighbors were really friendly. I was thrilled to be able to bring my dogs who also enjoyed the yard and some great walks on the beach and through the neighborhood. As others have mentioned in reviews, the cottage is quite small and I was well aware of this prior to booking. The one thing that would discourage me from renting this cottage in the future is the bathroom. It is not as pictured on the vrbo site. It has since been renovated and is awkwardly tiny. (It makes cruise ship bathrooms feel spacious). To use the toilet, one's feet are actually IN the shower (which is also tiny) and there is nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. For a week, it (the bathroom) was uncomfortable, but we made it. There are so many positives about this cute cottage if you can overlook the awkward bathroom. Just love the area and can't wait to make a return visit!

Loved It

This was my second time staying at this property and I enjoyed it as much this time as last. Cottage was VERY CLEAN. My neighbors were very nice. The cottage is small but very workable, and it's a quiet area if you want to go to sleep early. The kitchen is very well outfitted. May come back next summer to the same cottage.

Wonderful 4th Visit

We have stayed on this property for the past 4 summers and are already booked for next year. The cottages are adorable and the yard is perfect for my tween to enjoy, my dogs to lounge under the trees and for my husband & I to relax in. While bedding & towels need to be packed, the house is well-equipped with everything else someone could need.

Our Stay

Cottage is in a great location with a short walk to the beach. The cottage is really small but clean. Look at the amenities very carefully as linens and towels are not included but the owner had linens we could use for the full bed. The two weeks were good.

The Cozy “Winter House”

We needed to be in Scarborough to help out with our grandchildren while their mother was in the hospital giving birth to our first granddaughter. We found the cottage to be cozy and very clean. It was a very short walk to Pine Point Beach so we ended each day with an amazing walk along the shore. The cottage was close to our grandsons school which made it convenient for us dropping them off and picking them up. It is near restaurants and groceries. We were pleasantly surprised to find we had access to two TVs! As I said it was cozy but comfortable and was fully equipped for all our culinary tool needs! We hope that when we visit Scarborough again this cottage or “the winter house “ as my young grandson calls it will be available!

Great location!

The cottage, although small and mighty, is at an excellent location! The property manager came shortly after we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed and had very thoughtful touches on the cottage! We traveled with our two infants and all of their stuff (2 separate pack n plays, high chairs, toys, etc) and therefore, it was a little tight but wouldn't be for 4 regular sized humans. Again, super happy and will come back next year! Oh, you can't beat the 5 minute walk to two different beaches!

Not worth the money

The place was nice but small the yard was nice an big for the pups the beach was nice but u cant swim in the water brown an smell like died fish. All in all not worth the money u spend if u have to go to another beach to swim

Mother Nature is a bit unpredictable and for that I apologize. I definitely would have done my best to make your experience more pleasurable. The algae you experienced typically only presents itself for a few weeks each year. The town does an incredible job cleaning the beach with a few limitations for all of it. This year has not been the norm. The size of the cottage is clearly stated on VRBO, as well as the amenities. The information contained in these areas areas is always important when considering your comfort level and needs. Good luck on your future vacation endeavors, may they be enjoyably memorable, Debbie

Loved it!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. For being small in size, the space was truly maximized and nicely done. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor space was lovely. It is conveniently located, a short walk to anywhere on the Point. We had a delightful welcome gift waiting for us. Debbie and Theresa were quick to answer any questions we had. I would stay there again!

Perfect getaway for small family

This is our fourth year staying in Pine Point and first year in this adorable cottage. It was perfect to spend the week in. Very clean, well-lit & bright. Enough space for my family of 3 plus our 2 medium sized dogs. We love the easy walk over to the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby, several actually within walking distance. We all look forward to staying again!
