This sixth floor casual Floridian unit has ample room for your large family. There is the perfect view of the beach from this sixth-floor unit. The living room features a mirrored glass wall, comfortable seating, a television and a DVD player. The casual dining set has seating for six and there are three bar stools at the breakfast bar. You will find carpet in the bedrooms with tile floors in the common areas. The fully equipped kitchen features upgraded cabinets and countertops, white appliances, a washer and dryer in the pantry, and everything you need for family meals after a day at the beach. The master bedroom offers white wicker furnishings, soft green walls, and a flat panel television and DVD player. The master bath has a separate vanity area with a shower and bathtub. The guest bedrooms both have a beach cottage look, twin beds in each, and flat-panel TVs and DVD players. Come to Mainsail Resort for your next family vacation.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location

Loved the proximity to the beach and the balcony furniture. Even though we were anxious as to whether Hurricane Helene would hit Destin, we were comfortable.

Great family vacation spot

We enjoyed our stay, nice property with a gated entrance and security. The improvements are older but for the most part well maintained. You don't need to bring tennis balls, rackets or pickle balls they have them for you. Beach chairs were provided, that was nice, they also had kayak and stand up paddle boards for rent by the day at the beach. My only complaint was the listing says the pool is heated, while there is a heated pool, it's not the one pictured, it's a smaller pool located near the stand alone condos and it's much farther walk than expected from the pictures. The heated pool gets rather busy as it's the only heated pool for the entire property.

Needs updating

It was ok. I think for the money it could have been nicer. Definitely needs painting and updating. The couch cushion sunk when you sat on it. The slider door to the balcony needs a warning sign about the 3-4 inch metal piece at the bottom that you trip over. The AC in the living room area could not keep up. Still not sure the dishwasher ever kicked on or not.

Ceiling over master bathtub was cracking. Another bathtub had mold on shower curtain and 2 hairs in the tub. Ice maker container had a hair and crumbs in it. Seems like it could have been cleaned better, but otherwise we did enjoy our stay.

Great location , great view ,

Easy beach access and all appliances were great, except our issues with the sofa and love seat being extremely old and worn out, the the sleeper sofa and air mattress are miserable to sleep on.

Wonderful Condo!

We've been staying at the Mainsail for several years now, having wonderful experiences every time. This was no different, just as lovely as all the other stays. Umbrella and two chairs were included with the rental, 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, so plenty of room to stretch. Will definitely be going back! Thankyou to Vacasa for making the trip easy!

Nice place

Right now they are doing some renovations on the exterior of the complex, this makes parking a bit of a challenge. The condo is very nice. There is a ramp with only 2 steps to the beach so easy access for older people or handicapped.

A little dated but overall very nice

A big space for our group of six. We chose this one because of the two rooms that each had two twin beds. Most condos have queens. That was critical for us. Everything at mainsail a bit dated but that was fine for us. We had a nice view of the gulf and the beach was beautiful. The hot tub was always full so we wished the it had two. The arcade had like two games. If you want to play shuffle board or tennis you have to do it when the office is open which it was closed each time we wanted to play. A couple of suggestions for next tenants. Get your beach chairs early. The owners get the first row each time otherwise. Buy toilet paper, garbage bags, Kleenex, and if you want to do laundry or use the dish washer buy detergent. They only give one in the condo. A tip to the owner, the DVD player and/or remote do not work. We could not watch a movie in the living room. And there is no spatula?
