À propos de cet hébergement

Ce charmant chalet côté plage se trouve sur un grand terrain à seulement 1/2 pâté de maisons de la plage. Notre rue est en fait une impasse sur la plage. Il est donc très privé et idéal pour les enfants car il n'y a pas de circulation et pas de rues à traverser pour se rendre à l'eau. La maison possède de grands balcons sur deux côtés qui offrent beaucoup d'espace extérieur pour les bains de soleil, l'observation des étoiles et la vue sur l'océan. Il y a toujours beaucoup d'ombre et une brise fraîche au premier niveau, parfait pour les barbecues en plein air, les fêtes ou tout simplement pour se détendre. Il y a aussi une douche en bas avec de l'eau chaude et froide. Le lot adjacent est parfait pour les jeux et le plaisir au soleil. A l'étage, vous trouverez une cuisine de campagne spacieuse avec beaucoup d'espace, de nombreux sièges et une vue sur l'eau. Les hauts plafonds rendent les pièces encore plus grandes. Bien sûr, la cuisine est entièrement meublée avec tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour votre famille. Les deux chambres ont un lit queen size et le grand salon a 3 lits de jour pour des quêtes supplémentaires. Cette maison accueille parfaitement 2 couples et 4 enfants.

Lacking

The outside chairs were broken/uncomfortable so didn’t really sit out enjoying the sound and waves. Shower is not for anyone over 5’3, non removable shower head. The living room floor was a 3” drop/stepup from every room. Not being used to stepping up into every room when leaving living room, we tripped multiple times. Once I tripped and fell into the bedroom. The beds were uncomfortable. If the air conditioner hadn’t been so good, we would have requested refund and looked elsewhere.

Very cute place

Elaine is very sweet and communication was excellent with her. The house is so cute with easy access to the beach. A few minor leaks when it rained but it was tolerable.

40th Anniversary Getaway

Lovely property. Lots of space, beds, seating and kitchen supplies. Very close to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. We ate at convenient restaurants. Seven Seas grocery store was nearby. Wonderful weekend getaway. Responsive owner. We will be spending more weekends here. Highly recommend.

A Great Family Time

Our trip went off without any issues. We all had a wonderful time and the sad part was simply having to leave. The beach was right there! It was clean and well kept. Mostly everything we needed was there for us. This trip was a very rewarding experience.

Close to the Beach

Enjoyed the location to the beach, very easy access. Property manager was very accommodating on check-in and checkout. Took a few hours for the place to cool down, but once it cooled down the temperature remained very comfortable.

Good stay

If you remember Galveston beach houses from your childhood then this one fits the bill. Plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. It’s charming, comfortable and close to the beach. The microwave didn’t work but that was our only complaint.

Great Weekend Getaway

Great location by the beach within walking distance. The place was clean and tidy. A great place for a couple and 2 small dogs. Only thing would say is the A.C. could not keep up during the day, so it was little warm. Had to have fans and standing fans going. Overall it was a wonderful stay. We would atay again.

Cute property, great location, great communication and easy checkin process. Was a little surprised to hear we needed to bring our own linens, but otherwise no issues!

Very clean and comfortable home with a short walk to the beach. I arrived early and got to meet the owners. They are a lovely couple!! I’d certainly recommend this home for a beach getaway!

charming cabin

Palm Beach reminds me of a quaint B&B in England. It's a darling cabin with fantastic character. I loved that there was so much to look at in the house and it was well stocked. I love antiques so it was a wonderful surprise to see all the fun collectables on display. The lot next door offered several games of croquet and frisby. There was a nice view of the beach from the deck which was only steps away. The owner is super friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time.

Coziest island cottage

We had such a wonderful time staying here! It was so cozy and charming. Everything was comfortable and tidy. The home has everything you need. Elaine was so helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, a quick walk down a quiet dead end street to a clean, beautiful beach. The neighborhood was so quiet, perfect for a family. We have three young kids and it was easy to walk back and forth from the beach with them. We felt right at home. Can’t wait to go back!

It was very close to the beach. The problems were you don't find out until you book it that there are no bed sheets or towels of any kind. The WiFi didn't work the whole time. I sent a text to the host on the first day, no response. Texted again on the second day. She finally responded on the third that morning. There is hardly any cell service (AT&T) in the house. Wifi would have been great. The biggest problem was that we found black mold all over the window shades and window sills. We discovered this on the final day as we were packing up to leave and my nephew slept on the twin bed next to it the last night.

Enjoyable stay on the beach.

It was lovely to be so close to the beach. We came and went all throughout the day. There was so much ocean life to be able to see. The house was easy to get to. It was nice to be able to shower off outside and not track sand into the house from the beach. It was also nice to have a few things to take to the beach. It would have been nice to have sheets and towels at the house. We had 6 people in one vehicle, so having bedding for 5 beds and towels took up a lot of extra room. There were plenty of blankets, but I’m unsure if they get washed each time. I understand that we will see bugs every now and then, but we did see a big roach the first day we came in. We kept our clothes off the floor. Overall, we were happy with our stay and when we had questions for the owner, they answered.

Awesome Beach Getaway

This house was great for our family of eight. We had plenty of room in the house and we loved the *very short* walk to the beach. There were not many people on that area of the beach so we found awesome shells and ocean life. I would definitely stay here again.

Great family getaway

Rustic, cabin feel. Close to the water and necessities. The beds could be better but the couch was great. The kitchen was well stocked. The house and neighborhood is so peaceful. I am looking forward to staying here again.

Perfect for our short weekend beach getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beach house. We only had a couple of minor complaints which were that there was no dishwasher and the shower was really small, although we were not terribly bothered by either. The kitchen is big and great for a large group. The location is only a couple minute walk to the beach, and the day beds were perfect for a fairly large group. We would definitely stay here again!

Unfulfilled Potential

This property has great potential. The layout and location are wonderful. The beds are okay. The kitchen has a good supply of dishes and utensils. The problem with this rental is lack of cleanliness. The smell of urine from the bathroom was overwhelming and permeated the master bedroom and living room until I picked up rugs and mopped an d tried to disinfect. The dust and animal hair under furniture and in corners was a bad trigger for my allergies. I vacuumed some but did not feel it was my responsibility. I was charged a cleaning fee and did not get clean. I can do campy the roofing nails visible on every ceiling, the rough deck you can’t walk in without shoes but unclean is a disgrace. We left the house better than we found it.
