La douche extérieure privée a de l'eau courante chaude et froide. 'Las Palmas' dispose de deux lits queen-size luxueux dans le grand salon de type suite et d'une chambre privée ensoleillée avec lit à plateau-coussin et papier peint tropical flamant Paul Brent avec vue sur l'océan et salle de bain privée.

Las Palmas est dans une rue calme qui se termine à la plage.

Great Location

The house was very clean. A/C worked great in all rooms. Beds comfortable. Our hostess was quick to answer any questions we had . Great location to beach.

Get what you pay for I suppose

The good: Nice neighborhood.The bad: Old home pretty run down. Lots of gnats in the kitchen from the beginning of the stay. Last day there was a HUGE roach on the wall in the dining area. I told the owner and she just said "Thanks for letting me know. That they exterminate but critters are resistant & persistent". I had a home I bought in FL and when I saw a roach and some ants I had it exterminated and never saw one again. Picture included. I would not stay here again because of the bugs and the owner offered no remedy.

Overall a great stay

The location was great. Few steps to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable. The grill outside was terrible and needs replaced as we could not grill. Overall a great beach frint home.

Nice Stay and Wonderful Location

I usually stay in this area when visiting Galveston and enjoyed the location of the house. The house was clean and charming. I've stayed at other houses in the are the had a bit more glamore, but for the price and location, I would absolutely consider the location again. The owner is kind and fairly responsive. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Great views and everything you need

It was exactly what we needed - great porches with a great view, a fenced in yard for the pup, beds were comfortable, house was clean, all the amenities we needed were there. We will visit again!

Lovely home w/ great view

Enclosed yard for the pups was a major plus! Cute home, everything you need to cook with, Keurig coffee maker. Houses are close together, but it was a very quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful views!!

This was our 5th time coming to Galveston and this place was by far our favorite! Short distance to the beach and beautiful views!! The house was exactly as the pictures showed. We really enjoyed our stayed and will definitely be staying again in the future!

Great location

House was clean and plenty of room for us, 3 women for a sisters weekend. Very close to the beach with great views from the deck. Easy walk to the beach pulling a wagon with our chairs and cooler. Very friendly neighborhood. Will be back.

Great views and deck!

The location and views from the deck are amazing. It is very clean and has everything you need. We had our daughter, son in law and their 2 boys with us, which was slightly cramped on space. This beach house would be best suited for 2 adults and 2 children. It is very basic, but was great for us, because we wanted to spend most of our time outdoors and at the beach.

Great location, great beach house!

My wife and I both had a great, relaxing time here. My wife lives for the beach and it's just a few steps away and I like watching the waves and reading, the large wrap around deck was perfect for that, so we both had what we wanted. The furnishings were very comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of prep area and was well stocked with everything we needed for a quick meal. Linda was a great host recommending dinning spots nearby as well as where to get groceries and other things we might need. We would definitely stay there again!

Vacation Getaway

We were looking for something quiet, next to the Gulf, away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston but close enough to enjoy all that is Galveston. This was it. Perfect size very peaceful. Clean and completely stock with all that was needed. The owner was very approachable and the price was right. I would recommend to anyone, but more importantly I would come back here anytime.

Perfect Location

I was looking for a house practically on the beach at the last minute and this one was available. It met all my needs perfectly. From being two houses from beach, pet friendly, and porches to see and hear the ocean. This was the perfect spot to recharge my soul after losing my husband to cancer. The house was very clean and had plenty of space. I would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to be close to the beach.

Best time ever

We had the best time. 2 minutes walk to the beach, my kids barely got out of the water. Quite, almost secluded area, away from the hustle of town. Closed off shower is awesome! House well maintained! Big fridge, everything you need in the kitchen. Has some games and puzzles for the kids (if you can keep them in the house! :-) A bunch of beach toys, little chairs, even flip-flops for kids in the downstairs laundry/storage room (perfect place to store all beach-related stuff instead of dragging it upstairs). We loved this place! My kids said they wished that was their house permanently! I wish so too!!! :-) Highly recommended!

Just ok

The place was clean. The A/C worked fine. However, the only bedroom stayed consistently warmer with a dirty box fan. Due to all the rain there were roaches. Because of the rain blowing sideways, water was coming in from under the main door. So we were constantly having to use our bathing towels. The ad stated that they had beach towels but we never saw any. True, the description states only a washing machine. Somehow I assumed there was a dryer. So after washing clothes I quickly found out the completely rusted dryer next to the washing machine didn’t work. So we had wet clothes. Why have a washing machine yet no dryer? Lastly, because of the rain we assumed we’d be staying in and cooking. So I specifically asked if they had a functioning grill in which she responded, yes.So we brought plenty of food to grill. That grill was absolutely disgusting!! Nobody would use it. One wheel was off, it tilted, and the inside was so filthy. It needs to be thrown away. The worst park has a cleaner grill. Not sure why it’s even there.

Great View and Location but Property is Worn

I would like to give this property a better star rating as the view and location are fabulous and the owner's bent over backwards fixing problems that arose, ie: A/C and Hot Water went out. However, the property is worn and needs updating/cosmetic improvements. One problem was that the second bedroom has a very inadequate wall division from the main living area made up of a combination of vertical and horizontal blinds that are broken and missing. If you need ANY privacy in the second bedroom, this property will not work for you. Usually it was just my husband and I so we made due, however, when my son's family visited, it was quite a pain to put the children to sleep. Additionally, I was disappointed that not one window has a screen in it so you are not able to open windows and let the ocean breezes cool and air out the house. You must use the A/C 24/7, so when it was out, it was quite uncomfortable. And finally, I had hoped to cook more in the house but the pots and pans and utensils were so old and broken, it made it hard and we ended up eating out much more than I had planned. Not many glasses either, we had to go out and buy wine glasses. On the plus side, the deck surrounding three sides of the house is wonderful. The view and location are super. We spent alot of time utilizing the Galveston Country Club for swimming and golf. The staff there is superb! And as I mentioned the owner's and Debbie really tended to our needs when there was a maintenance problem. There are 2 new TVs with cable and I was surprised to fine we had wireless internet which was great! There are beach chairs and toys for the kids. It was nice to have an outdoor shower to wash the sand off after a walk on the beach.

Location to beach and ocean was so wonderful.Property was very clean but needs a little love on outside lights. Also door locks and lock box replacement would be great!

I came to Galveston in 1992 and fell in love with the healing sound of the surf, the soft sand, the breathtaking sunsets, the palm trees, the Victorian Architecture, the art galleries, and the Strand shopping. My husband and I remodel beach houses and historical homes and wanted a place extended family could stay when they visit. Galveston is a cultural jewel with a rich history. We are blessed that we can call Galveston Island home.

Our family purchased the beach house as a place Mom and Dad could come stay when they visited. Mom and I totally remodeled this place to be a restful and fun place to stay with GREAT BEDS. Mom is very picky about beds... Our family has restored and remodeled homes for many years. This experience along with my interior design and art background made for a really unique and comfortable beach house. The beach has been a great place to find unique seashells and sharks teeth (but no sharks!) Palm Beach Galveston is almost like having your own private beach.

Awesome views from the huge deck. Very relaxing atmosphere. Exquisite underwater-look fish ceramic tile in the kitchen. Comfy beds with high quality soft linens. Hand painted Italian ceramic shell themed dishes, enough colorful beachy melamine dinnerware for an indoor/outdoor buffet for family and friends. French doors that open up to the deck to enjoy the morning sunrise with your coffee.
