Location and description were accurate. Nice you can walk to pool and restaurant and beach. Across street is boardwalk to river beach. We didnât use porches due to heat humidity and mosquitoes. Water leak into screened in porch and possibly new carpet made it musty. Cooler time of year itâs probably very nice Games and puzzles needed review. Both were missing piecesFurniture was adequate but not coordinated so felt a bit too casual Main two issues: all 3 box springs old and creaky especially the twins. Kids complained one woke up when other moved at night Other was cookware. All haphazard old and greatly used. No skillet for pancakes If owner invested in new cookware set and box springs it goes to solid 4star. New or coordinated furniture in dining and living room plus paint water stain in ceiling would be close to 5 Summary: it was sufficient. Location was strongest plus
This is a difficult review to write. The property is in a beautiful location and is a short walk to the boardwalk to the beach. There were really positive things (incredibly well stocked kitchen, comfortable screened porch, washer and dryer) and some negative things that were surprising (the view of the ocean was a small sliver of blue when standing outside on the upstairs porch, broken window blinds, poorly hung curtains, mildew in upstairs shower, stained carpet on stairs). The twin beds downstairs were so firm that we ended up putting comforters under the sheets to so we could sleep. It was not clear from the posting that Vrbo/Vacasa was handling the reservation but access through the gate is through Seabrook Island. I did not ask for an amenity card ahead of time and it was difficult to get a straight answer about how to get both cars that were registered on Vacasa through the gate as well as how to get a guest day pass for visitors from Johnâs Island. The posting says two cars are allowed by Vacasa but Seabrook only allows one car free. I was on the phone a lot at the beginning of our stay and got different answers from people at Vacasa vs Seabrook. There were no beach chairs provided unless we wanted to rent them. It was a good getaway for us but not exactly what we were expecting for the amount that we paid.
First, you're on Seabrook, its beautiful. Enjoy. This is our second time staying in the Spinnaker Beachhouses. We love that location. This condo is spacious for only being two bedrooms. It is older, but so very clean. My family doesnt require a fancy house because we spend our time at the pool and beach. We had plenty of parking for our large 2500 truck and we rented an LSV. ( There is a plug that works great and in plenty of reach). We took advantage of the amenity cards. The only thing I would fix and its cosmetic are the blinds in the living room, and the TV in the bottom bedroom is in a cabinet without a plug in. Wasnt sure how to use that. It would also be better if the freezer had more ice trays because Harris Teeter ran out of ice but it was 4th of July week! Dont worry, Bohicket had ice and thats even closer. We would stay here again. For the money, its worth it. Thanks for the memories! Well be back next 4th!
Our family of four enjoyed a nice week vacation at 716 Spinnaker. The home was the perfect size and set-up for two adults and two children, and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. We purchased the Seabrook Amenity Pass, which we would highly recommend, since you are only a 5 minute walk from the Beach Club complex. For those who do not want to have to drive their car too much during their vacation, renting a LSV/golf cart might be a good move.
The house was comfortable and in a great location. All the necessary equipment (kitchen wise etc.) was there. The house itself could use a little TLC like a fresh coat of paint, better coffee machine etc. But it was all serviceable. The kitchen counter had a big bump/ crack by the coffee machine. It didnât bother us but it made the house feel more run down than it really was. While we were there the outer screen doorâs hinge came off so the door was just hanging by one hinge. We notified the management but checked out before we could see how fast they were fixing it. One complaint I have is the 10am check out. Itâd be lovely if it was 11am so we didnât have to rush.Overall, we would come back to the house. We definitely enjoyed its location - very close to the beach.
This house needs so much work! Cracks in walls, mold in master bath, beds stained, paint peeling, counters in kitchen are cracked and beds are uncomfortable!! Had to have exterminator come by because bugs but that took 2 days and couldnât sleep!!
Location was the only good thing about this house!
Not worth the money we put into it!
Would not recommend this house!đĄ
Two chairs on the deck are rusted barely got cut they shouldnât even be there!! TV small in the living room and the TV upstairs in the bedroom didnât work like the one in the living room couldnât get any channels! living room TV had a cable box TV upstairs in the bedroom that streaming is ridiculous. Couldnât get anything.
Pervasive mold/mildew smell coming from screened porch. Urine stains on mattress covers. One replaced by Vacasa. Most of furniture on decks broken and rusty. Afraid to sit on. Couldn't operate doors upstairs. All bathroom mirrors peeling. MW dirty and rusty. Just general lack of maintenance. Have stayed at Seabrook since the 70's and never seen anything like this. Vacasa offered to move us but location by the guard house. Very disappointed,
The condo itself needs upgrades. Kitchen counter cracked. Ceiling cracked in places. Beds uncomfortable. There is no recycling bin so we were told on our last day because I asked that we could take them to reclying center ourselves. Stayed in many of the spinnakers over the years. Will not stay here again.
