Welcome to 138 High Hammock, a beautifully renovated first-floor villa nestled on a private street in the heart of Seabrook Island, offering the best intersection of peaceful relaxation and recreational coastal living. The updated floor plan, with new vinyl flooring throughout, offers a living/dining room, open kitchen, two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a laundry area. A covered, private patio with table and Adirondack chairs overlook the tranquil wooded area and offers a peak of Ocean Winds' ninth hole. The beach and Seabrook Island club are also just a short bike ride or scenic walk away. Guests enter into the open space living area, tastefully decorated in a palette of serene coastal colors. A comfortable couch, ample seating, ceiling fan, and large smart screen TV open to the private, covered patio area. It is the perfect place for unwinding after a day at the beach or downtown Charleston. An updated full bath, with shower, toilet and vanity, is located off the living area. A dining area offers a table and chairs for dining, game night, or entertaining. The open kitchen features new stainless appliances, subway tile, quartz counters. and ample storage. A standard coffee maker, a Keurig, blender, and ample cookware and serveware make cooking a breeze. A hallway leads to two bedrooms and a laundry area with its own washer and dryer. The Master bedroom, with ensuite bath, features a plush queen bed, closet, ceiling fan, and TV. As always, all our beds feature quality, fresh, white linens. The updated Master bathroom offers an oversized shower, vanity, toilet, and selection of plush, white towels. The guest bedroom features two twin beds, TV, blackout curtains (perfect for sleeping in), and access to the secluded walk-out patio. Seabrook Island is home to a private beachfront community with two championship golf courses, a tournament grade tennis center, full-service equestrian center, fitness and aquatics complex, vast unspoiled beaches, a seasonal variety of indoor and outdoor dining venues. Also located on the island proper are Freshfields Village and Bohicket Marina. Freshfields Village is a unique town center mix of shopping, dining, and service establishments in a stylish and relaxed outdoor environment between Seabrook Island and neighboring Kiawah Island. Bohicket Marina is home to 200 wet slips, a quaint market with wonderful restaurants and shops, and some of the best sunsets the Lowcountry has to offer. Guests will appreciate the array of amenities, including air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and enhanced cleaning practices for peace of mind. LINENS, TOWELS, & STARTER-KIT OF SUPPLIES: Included in this rental, for the convenience of our guests, are comfortable, white linens and a selection of bath and hand towels, as well as washcloths. A starter set of hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, a kitchen sponge, and kitchen towels are included. Guests staying for an extended stay may need to purchase or bring additional supplies. Beach towels are not included (although towel service is available at the Beach Club.)
WASHER & DRYER: A washer and dryer are located in the unit for your convenience. Should you require wash n fold service, please let us know. Coffee Maker: Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker on site. (BYO ground coffee for carafe or use provided Keurig K-cups.)
AMENITY CARDS: Amenity cards offer exclusive access to the Seabrook Island beach club, dining club, tennis and award winning golf. Without this card, access is prohibited. Amenity Cards are INCLUDED with this rental (a $50 day savings). Guests also have complimentary access to the uncrowded and private beaches, equestrian center, and the outdoor Lakehouse pool. The fitness center is accessible for a daily fee of $16 per guest. Whether you are fishing, crabbing, biking, kayaking, or shopping, there is something for everyone. Beginning January 1, 2025, pre-order forms will be mandatory for all guests. Please ensure that your completed form is submitted to the amenity office at least two weeks prior to your arrival to avoid a $10 late fee. Due to the volume of requests and the card preparation process, the office is now unable to accept information over the phone.
ISLAND ACCESS & PARKING: As the island is a gated, private island, each vehicle entering the island will require a gate pass for island access. Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has now started charging a gate pass fee per vehicle. This property has a limit of 2 vehicle passes. This $45 fee per vehicle applies to guests staying 1 night – 179 nights. Our rental agency is responsible for collecting the fee. Gate pass name information for each car is due one week prior to your arrival. For each pass, a driver's name must be provided. Drivers may be required to show a valid Driver's license when at the gate. Once a vehicle has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive that vehicle. LSV vehicles (low speed golf carts) are unfortunately prohibited at the villa complex.
CHECK IN: For our guest's convenience, we offer a prompt, self check-in process. Guests will directly check-in at the property with a code for the keypad on the door. We, however, are always a phone call or text away. We offer as much assistance with check-in process as needed. Our office is available to answer questions

CLEANING: Our housekeeping teams are among the most detailed anywhere. Cleanliness is a hallmark of every stay. Our housekeeping teams are trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best detailed practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of germs. We are one of the only companies that washes the bedcoverings (comforters, bedspreads, quilts) after every single stay.
THE AREA: Guests will find that the area offers so much to do. With vast, uncrowded beaches, an array of recreational offerings, and the historic city of Charleston just 21 miles away, an adventure awaits you daily.
IN THE EVENT OF A STORM: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Seabrook Island is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments and / or monies paid by the traveler. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler's group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.
