DÉTAILS: Réveillez-vous sur la plage! Amenez la famille dans cette belle maison récemment rénovée située au bord du golfe au cœur de Seagrove. En plus d'être à quelques pas de la plage, "Looney Dunes" est à quelques pas de tous les magasins et restaurants de Seagrove, Watersound et Seaside.

Le niveau principal de la maison abrite une cuisine ouverte et un salon avec beaucoup de lumière naturelle qui brille à travers les fenêtres surdimensionnées du pont face au golfe. La cuisine gastronomique dispose d'appareils électroménagers haut de gamme en acier inoxydable, de comptoirs en granit et de 11 places assises dans les coins repas.
L'espace de vie dispose de 2 télévisions à écran plat et d'une cheminée adjacente au porche, qui dispose de sièges extérieurs supplémentaires. Vous pourrez utiliser la salle d'eau au fond du couloir pour vous rafraîchir.

A l'étage, les 3 chambres de la maison. Le premier est le maître, qui dispose d'un lit king-size, d'une salle de bains privative avec baignoire, d'un balcon privé et d'une télévision à écran plat. À côté, se trouve une autre chambre avec un lit king-size et une télévision à écran plat. La dernière est une chambre avec lits superposés avec lits superposés jumeaux et télévision à écran plat. Une salle de bain complète et partagée avec douche seulement se trouve également à cet étage.

Great location

Can’t beat the proximity to the beach. We really enjoyed being so close, especially with young kiddos. House is as pictured, simple furnishings clean and complete with everything you need. Only negative was the major construction happening non stop for the entire 7 days surrounding the property. It was difficult to get the car out of the driveway/street, as most houses surrounding were under construction and driveway was constantly blocked. It was disappointing to have paid as much as we did for the property with zero warning about level of construction present. Had we known we would have booked elsewhere. Otherwise we would book again. We loved having the golf cart.

Perfect getaway

loved this property. the space is perfect for a family. the living and kitchen space are very nice with plenty of room. we loved the location. close to everything! situated on the beach. the upper deck is a great place to watch the sunset or just watch for dolphins. We will rent this property again.

Family Fall Getaway

Everything went well except numerous times internet went out. We had to reset the router 2-3 times daily. Also, there was much construction nearby going on sunup to sundown (sometimes after sun went down).

Wonderful experience from the beginning. Beautiful house and outdoor spaces just off the beach. Watching the sunset with family from the master balcony was the best part of our trip. Plenty of supplies to cook for thanksgiving. Cleanliness as a top priority. I hope to stay again.

Fantastic view

The house is very nice and the location and views are wonderful. The upper deck is the perfect place to start your day enjoying coffee. We loved having access to a golf cart, beach chairs and umbrellas. The pans could really be replaced as they are very scratched and the door knob on the shared bathroom stuck very badly. We really enjoyed the house and we would defintely stay again.

Property was nice, shrubs blocked the view of the water. Which was a bummer. There is a view if you go to upper level, though. Golf cart and chairs were nice to have!

Great location

That house was in a fantastic location right on the beach. We enjoyed our stay but the house needs A LOT work. When we checked in, there was sand everywhere, including in the beds. Master bedroom sliding door handle was broken and on the ground. The master bedroom bathroom shower needs a deep clean because there is mold along the floor and door. The house needs a lot of work and needs to be updated. The use of the golf cart and bicycles were a great addition. You cannot beat the location of this house and we did enjoy our stay.

Nice Vacation Rental. Management of the location was a challenge.

The home was a nice place to enjoy the beach. However, we were locked out the first night and dealt with large code issues, front door issues, wifi issues, and air conditioning challenges for the first two nights. It was cooler outside than it was sleeping in the vacation rental. We were told we would have to deal with it as it was a two story unit. Chairs were not placed as described and getting someone on the phone was a consistent challenge. The response was we were made to feel as an imposition. The team was kind and did get things taken care of but fell short of meeting basic expectations.

Perfect location

Perfect location, golf cart was a great touch, and the view from the home were really great qualities of this home. There were a few things that needed fixing, for example, there was a bathroom that if closed, locked the person in the restroom until it could be jimmied open. There was also a shower that needed it’s hot/cold dial fixed (it was nonexistent). The management didn’t respond to us at all about concerns - for example the garage code didn’t work. But honestly, we were expecting there to be some things that weren’t perfect. We still had an awesome time and the home had great features.

No beach chairs or beach set up.

Location was great. You have access to the beach via public stairs just steps from your back door. House was fine. Doorknob to the patio door was about to come off which is a security issue. Door knob to upstairs hall bath kept jamming and needs to be replaced. The biggest disappointment was the lack of beach chairs/umbrella or beach set up. Just know if you book that you’re going to pay $300-$500 for beach set up or will need to buy chairs and umbrellas. Other homes we’ve stayed at have always included this. Usually, there are pantry staples left behind such as salt and pepper from previous guests. Pantries are completely bare. We’ve stayed at much better properties for less.

Ants and construction

So we had a big problem with ants, the mgmt company came out and sprayed. Then the entire time we had dead ants…… so we had to vacuum the house every day to get rid of the dead ants, we couldn’t keep food on the counters because they would be infested with ants. The property does list that there is construction going on, however there is five construction projects within 100 yards, and they start at 7 AM. It is very loud! Lots of construction traffic difficult to get your car in now it’s really not pleasant. The house is beautiful, but the ants and the construction made it miserable. I think I would highly recommend not renting this place until the construction is completed which will likely be six months. It honestly was terrible.

What a bummer & a lie

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at this property. Last year we were super bummed because it wasn’t listed, and we were so excited to see that it was renovated and it’s such a great location. Between the car in the driveway, management not ever answering to help us, then the house being completely dilapidated (nothing had changed from the first time we rented, except the house has been LESS taken care of) I wish I could submit pictures, because there was a poop stain on the OUTSIDE of the toilet. From basic kitchen necessities being missing, to mold in the fridge I was thankful our children were blissfully unaware of the catastrophe of the home. I am truly astounded at the complete lack of customer service and even ability to get ahold of anyone at the rental agency. The street is under construction and someone being parked in the driveway meant a we had to park at the end of the block and bring all of our luggage and travel items down, no one would answer. Randomly, the car vanished. Then, it was about 4:30pm and we called to have chairs rented for the next day, still no answer. We called and called, while I understand it’s Labor Day Weekend, the fact we left messages, call back numbers and ultimately waiting on hold all morning one morning finally got us a person. Only to have us be told, we couldn’t rent chairs in front of the property. The neighbors had chairs set up and we were told “We can’t help you, just ask the neighbors” even though the flyer and email confirmation left said to contact concierge. We will never stay here again. It is such a bold faced lie and totally false advertising to say it’s an updated property when really it’s old, tired and worn out. Just like I am from dealing with all of this from our trip.

Perfect location, unfortunate condition

We rent properties every single year off of 30a so have had a lot of experiences to compare to. Unfortunately, the property is not in good condition. Cons: -Mold was all over secondary shower. I have never seen so much mold in a shower. They did come out and clean the shower for us and it was much better, but looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Master shower wasn’t clean but not covered in mold. Ended up buying cleaner and cleaning myself. -Garage code did not work. I contacted the manager about this and never heard back on the correct garage code. This would have been helpful for hauling beach equipment directly from the garage. -floors were super sandy. Not shocking BUT with the condition of the shower, I questioned if they were cleaned. -ANTS (jungle size). There were a few ants here and there when we arrived but didn’t think too much about it. However, one morning our son’s inflatable toddler bed was covered in ants. I spent two hours killing ants (hundreds) and vacuuming. When we contacted the manager, they dropped off the little bait stations you can buy from Walmart or Home Depot. This of course did not help as it’s an infestation. Little one had to sleep with us. We ended up leaving late the night before checkout because we just didn’t want to go through another round of killing ants before bedtime. -there was also mold on the ceiling in two places around the a/c vents. Appears there has been water damage. Hoping this was not harmful. -everything was pretty worn -I think the property was advertised as newly renovated. I would not consider this renovated. -one of the bikes had flat tires. Wish this would have been checked. -I saw mentions of the construction in the reviews. Noise didn’t bother us BUT we were blocked in and unable to get in and out of the property a few times without asking workers to move trucks. Just something to be aware of. Pros: -The location is amazing. Walk to the beach is quick and convenient -appreciate that it includes a golf cart -proximity to restaurants and stores is great -house has great views -provided plenty of towels

Great location for beach access and shops/dining! The little nook in the backyard was a wonderful place to drink coffee and enjoy the beach view. The kitchen organization was confusing, but not a deal breaker. The master bedroom could do for more night time lighting, but in the daytime the windows were fantastic.

We had a wonderful experience. The house location was great. Amazing view from master bedroom!

Great experience! Need to spray the property for insects both inside for ants and outside for flies. Beach chairs and extra toilet and paper towels would have bee good since we were there for a week and ran out.

Wonderful House and Location

This house and the view are beautiful. The house is very well taken care of and up to date. The house has high ceilings, huge windows, and a lovely view of the beach and ocean (specifically from the master bedroom.) I searched weeks of rentals before selecting this house and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately for us, the weather was not cooperating during our short stay so we only had one good day at the beach - BUT that day was awesome. You can literally walk down some steps and be on the beach with your feet in the sand within 60 seconds of leaving the back door. They had bikes available, so you can bike to have your choice of restaurants. There are great choices all within a mile of the hotel. The popular restaurant Bud and Alley's is a mile or South of the property. This location puts you close to Seacrest, Watercolor, Grayton beach, and Rosemary. I felt like we were in the middle of everything, but still off the beaten path. Perfect getaway for my husband and I. We are interested in finding a place to go every year and this gorgeous home is in the running!!

Our stay at Looney Dunes was absolutely amazing! The house was gorgeous and spotless. The kitchen and living space was perfect for our group to gather, play games, etc.. The view from the balcony was truly breathtaking, we spent all our mornings and evenings there. We HIGHLY recommend this rental and we are hoping to return soon.

Our stay at Looney Dunes was perfect! The house is beautiful and well-equipped. The open concept kitchen and living space was the perfect setup for our group of 6. The balcony off the master bedroom is ideal for watching dolphins in the morning, and the sunset in the evening. We will be back!

Looney Dunes was the perfect home in which to spend a vacation with two other couples. The property was gorgeous, very nicely furnished and you just cannot beat the unobstructed ocean view that’s visible through floor to ceiling windows in the huge living and dining room! The upstairs deck is unbelievable, and we enjoyed morning coffee watching dolphins from lounge chairs. The picture above is from the same spot, where sunset happy hour was each night. Absolute heaven and we can’t wait to return!!
