Perfect location near the beach. Golf cart included was great to have! Very dog friendly. Appreciated the dog bed Easy check in and out.

The island was beautiful and the condo was nice and clean.

Everyone had a great time. It is on a beach with nature all around so bring bug spray and off spray for the patio.

Excellent property, Everything was great. Place is very clean and well decorated. Area beautiful and quit. Golf cart was a huge plus! Hold on the local roads are bumpy! lol! Restaurants and Museums are all great. Great place to get away and relax. Will defiantly be back and highly recommend. Thank you for a great memorable stay.

1/2 Marathon Ling Weekend Stay

Absolutely beautiful and extremely friendly Island. Enjoyed having our fury babies with us. The food throughout the island was delicious. Condo was extremely pet friendly. Will visit again.

Beautiful and quiet!

Although the Melrose resort is not fully reopened, it remains a beautiful area, and this property is no exception. Close to the beach, serene, and quiet—and fully equipped for anything you’d need. The provided golf cart was high quality and useful (the battery lasted multiple trips to and from Haig Point or Freeport). We would absolutely stay here again!

Now we want to live here

Fabulous fabulous fabulous! Spotlessly clean well appointed comfortable quiet get away. We had absolutely everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for the giant tub and everyone on the island was very helpful. No kidding, we're really looking for property to buy now. In the meantime we're going to return in the spring for a long term stay. Thanks for sharing this piece of heaven with us.

Really loved the residence- super comfortable and clean. If first time visitors and during the off season- bring food to cook! Great kitchen and grill to use.

Wonderful getaway

The property was fantastic. Our host was very accomodating and he came by to explain everything to us when we first arrived. The house was awesome. Howver my husband and i were under the impression that we would be beach front and this unit is not. Its actually facing the oppisite way. But the inside was very nice and clean. The jacuzzi tub was awesome and its in the master bath with the king size bed. It was a bit tricky figuring everything out and trying to plan this trip since it is a bridgeless island and it definantly ended up costing us alot more than we had planned. But it was def a one of a kind trip and now that we understand a little more i would love to visit again one day.

Feathered Nest at Daufuskie Island - superb!

My husband and I spent an extended weekend at the Feathered Nest. What a delightful villa! It was clean and fully stocked and ideally located. We especially appreciated having the use of a golf cart while we were on the island. Very close to the beach and since it was centrally located, the restaurant options and historical sites were easily accessible. GREAT visit - EXCELLENT hosts!

Great Vacation

The condo was perfect for our family! Clean, comfortable furniture and bedding, large porch, condiments provided, golf cart, and surprisingly no noise from other units in the building. A little bit of confusion on which condo we we’re checking into but other than that, perfect stay. We will definitely be back next year!

Wonderful stay!

Highly recommend this property! The house was perfect, very comfortable with a huge screened in porch. Very personable check-in which was awesome. They truly went above and beyond for me when I told them my connection to Dufausky. Beach access was easy and having a golf cart included was key. Would definitely stay here again!

PERFECT Staycay

Living on HHI, people wonder why we would ever consider going to another close by beach. Daufuskie, is the apt answer for that question - close but not too close, remote but not too remote. Have not been to Daufuskie for many years - was great to re-familiarize and feel pampered - JonBie Maison lodging at Easter Beach (105B) was perfect. Everything & anything you need is there from coffee (NICE coffee), nice refrig, great decor, comfy & relaxing screened porch, even spices for cooking, just like home - only better - since you didn't feel as though you needed to plan anything!

The Feathered Nest was simply amazing. Very clean and the perfect location with a short walk to the beach. Jonbie Maison was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We will definitely rent through them again.

Beautiful, relaxing and so much fun!

The property itself was gorgeous! Better than I expected and so much more. So clean and so much room! Comfy beds, great tub! Totally pet friendly. They had bowls and beds and toys already waiting. The location was perfect. Just a 30 second walk to the perfect beach and access to two pools, a game room and food. Every one was so nice, and everyone and every place is pet friendly which made the trip with my pooch so much easier. The property owners were so nice and accommodating even when I got confused and arrived early and left late. They communicated so well and forgave me for not knowing what I was doing haha First stay on the island and we want to come back ASAP! Loved the golf cart life. The community is so peaceful and kind. I don't know why people say to bring so much food or that there is an issue getting food. We brought too much and had to throw a lot out when we left. We never lacked for ANY thing! The stores and restaurants had everything we could possibly want or need, and all within a short golf cart ride's distance! The food there was absolutely delicious! And, despite what I heard, there is hardly a mark up at all. The prices were very reasonable, and even if they were a dollar or two more, it's totally worth it. We had the famous crab cakes, the pizza from D'fuskie's (the best pizza I've ever had), the delicious chicken from Frye's Corner and a plentiful breakfast every morning from the Island Shack Cafe. Soooo good! Beautiful stay ❤️

Fantastic location, one block from the beach. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Our fridge was running warm, he brought over a new one asap. Highly recommended!

Perfect Location for Peace & Tranquility

We made a last minute trip to the Lowcountry and lucked out finding this property on Dafuskie. We’d never visited before but will definitely return. The property faces the marsh which is wonderful for morning tea on the screened in porch. The walk to the beach is maybe two minutes. The accommodations were perfect for us and our two teens and the complimentary golf cart was perfect. We’re already trying to plan our next trip!
