We all had a wonderful time. Stayed at Indigo west for 5 days and enjoyed every minute of it. Everyone with us said it was the nicest place they have ever stayed and I agree. Recommend anyone to try Indigo
Property is great, size of the condo was very accommodating for a party of 6, only complaint was condo management closed the pool all the time throughout our stay
The property was very nice and well kept. Beach access is perfect and views are gorgeous. Grocery store very close by and yet the area is not too commercial. Enjoyed some beautiful clean sand!!
We were just blown away with the property location and ease getting to the beach every day. We will definitely be back next year!! Plenty of space for our family of 5, we could have easily brought 2 or 3 more people.
Great property and condo. However, one bedroom had different bed (bunk) than the big bed advertised. On July 5 starting at 8 am & most of the day maintenance was loudly pressure washing which was irritating that they did this in the busy summer season, especially a holiday week.
The condo is wonderful as far as location. Pictures wxceed expectations! The condo itself is magnificent! However, you have to drive all the way to Orange Beach to get your keys. I have both driven (many times ) and flown a couple of times. I always enter through Perdido Key. Not through Orange Beach. So be prepared to spend an additional 1-2 hours to retrieve your keys!
We usually stay at Indigo East. First time in Indigo West. Upon arrival we noticed that the floors were dirty and swept not moped. The staff were notified and they immediately sent a staff member to clean and mop the unit, she did a great job. Overall the unit was well equipped but did not have TV in the bedrooms as advertised and didn't have a queen bed as advertised. We would stay there again. Great pool, great BBQ area the beach always a five star.
The bad: Only the primary bedroom's bed was made. Sheets were left, folded, under the quilt for the remaining beds. I didn't expect to go on vacation and make 5 beds on day one. There are cracks in the tile flooring. One crack gave me a deep tissue bruise on half my foot for the entire week. First time having a resort not give free chairs.
Would rather pay a little extra in price and chairs be included.
The Good: We had an issue with a toilet on day one and maintenance arrived VERY quickly to fix and they were very polite. Pools are great! Access to the beach is great! Parking is good. Any staff you would run into was always polite. Beach is clean. Bathrooms by the pool and ocean are clean and well maintain. Great location.
As I let Prickett Properties know kitchen drawers pots and pans utensils dirty cracks in floors covered with black tap. The property tricked you into giving a second review after 1st review I asked them to make sure it was clean before we came and they didnât bother to check Furniture is wore out master bedroom mattress needs replaced wore out and makes noises every time you move. Great location though
Indigo is the best. This unit's furniture is horrible! Goodwill must have donated the living room. No coffee table. The sleep sofa had the most uncomfortable rod down the center of the seat. The recliner and single swivel chair were filthy. There was one "sharp" little knife. Beds were good. We have stayed at Indigo for 5 plus years. Vacasa canceled our first rental. Luckily Prickett had this. No fault of Prickett. They were great. The owner of this condo needs to update the kitchen supplies and for sure living area seating. Gross and uncomfortable. Will never rent this condo again.
The condo was fantastic. Easy access, great location, beautiful view of the beach. Clean, nice furniture and beds. The only thing we did not like was having to drive 10 miles to get our check in package. It was not available at the front desk of the condo. A minor inconvenience but we were ready to check in and go to the beach. Not drive an additional 35-40 minutes for our package.
Property was very spacious. One room had a bunk bed which was inaccurate compared to the vrbo photos. Upon arrival- they did not fully clean the property including a big dirt pile with food ect in it. The funiture/tv's need to be updated. One bedroom had a broken box spring causing the bed to sink.. I told the manager. They sent someone up to look at it. The guy dealing with it said he would bring a new one the following day. He was a no call no show- never got replaced.
The beach and location was beautiful. I've just spent alot less money traveling to better places.
We stayed for spring break with you this year as we have done with several of the condos in Perdido Key for the last 10 years. This year we missed not being able to sit out on our balcony because of the hurricane restoration that was being done! Also, there were many things wrong inside of the condo like the front door we were able to just push it open not needing a key so we didnât always feel very secure in there but never had a problem! Several things needed attention in there⊠like towel bar bars and curtain rods that were just hanging off the wall. This condo was in a little rough shape inside but it met our needs and we loved our stay in Perdido Keyđ
There were some things broken on the property upon arrival. Blinds/curtains, ottoman leg, flushing mechanism on toilet and towel rack in guest bath there was mildew in the showers that the cleaning crew did not get. Other than that the property was nice, was a great location, and has a gym and beautiful pool. Itâs possible the group that stayed before us broke said items and there was not enough time for things be repaired before our arrival.
The condo was very clean and spacious with plenty of room for a family who likes a bit of privacy as the bedrooms were separated by different hallways, except master which opens directly to living room. I loved the art in the condo! The prints had a common romantic style but it was elegant not splashy. The kitchen is beautiful with granite countertops and a modern stainless steel refrigerator. The balcony chairs were great for a short woman (5â4â) because they were tall I could see over the railing. I would have liked nightstands with drawers in the master. The master bath was great with the jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. Just fill it once to clear the lines before you use it. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome for us as we had to drive 10 minutes past the condo to get the information and parking passes. They did have a box with the packet in a box by the door to accommodate late arrivals. The agent answered my call to confirm that the office wasnât on the condo premises which wasnât clear to me from their email. The agent was very nice and helpful. We would love to stay here again!
The condo was great size but online photos need to be updated. Photos show they are queen beds in extra bedrooms and photos show that as well, but one of the bedrooms had a set of bunk beds instead of one queen bed so that is not good for an adult couple. Also living room furniture and rugs were very nasty. The pool area was amazing.
The views and location were great. But the description on VRBO said 2 queen and 1 king. There was 1 king, 1queen and 1 full/twin bunk bed. We were 3 couples and were very disappointed. There were even pictures!!! And the queen mattress was very uncomfortable, sinking in the middle. There is a trundle in that room and the mattress are just springs with a cover on them. The closeness to the beach was the best part.
Unfortunately, we were staying when the hurricane Sally hit Pensacola, to no one's fault. However, for the check-in, we were instructed to drive to the office of the property manager office and if the office was closed the keys would be in a dropbox. to our surprised the keys were not . We waited about 20min after driving 6 hours for Kevin the maintenance person to get them to us. Again the keys were not in the office and we had to drive back to the condo to get them. We walked around the condo and briefly looked around with Kevin and it seems ok. This was until we decided to cook some dinner, instead of going out for dinner. There were pots and pans with leftover food inside the cabinets and sand and liquid stains on the floor, stained towels, and even a pair of undies next to the TV cabinet in the master, I assume from the previous renters. Needless to say at this point instead of enjoying a relaxing dinner and drinks we drove out to get cleaning supplies to clean the apartment, including washing the linens since at this point I was not sure the place had been clean at all. After we left I sent a text to the manager at the number advertised on the website as their cell phone and included the pictures, trying to be considerate as I know they subcontract people for the cleaning and maintenance and furthermore they have just gone through this hurricane. Unfortunately, I never heard a word back. I've stayed at the Indigo before and my previous experiences have been wonderful, but we needed a smaller place this time , that why I choose this condo, will not rent again.
