MEILLEUR EMPLACEMENT --- À PIED DU CENTRE-VILLE !! Nous avons récemment meublé cette magnifique maison avec de nouveaux meubles et de l'art créatif international. Nous sommes une nouvelle liste, alors ne laissez pas le manque d'avis vous tromper !! Deux lits, chacun avec leur propre baignoire !! Moins de 1 mile du centre-ville avec restaurants fabuleux, boutiques, bars à vin et brasseries. Près de l'autoroute 101, SMART Train, San Anselmo, Fairfax, Corte Madera, Petaluma. Accès facile à San Francisco et Wine Country! Deux blocs au parc historique de Gerstle pour la randonnée et les pique-niques.
PRIVÉ, BRIGHT Top Flr Unit dans une maison de 2 unités. Quartier calme. Le salon comprend un tout nouveau téléviseur LG de 50 pouces, un Roku et des sièges confortables pour six personnes, dont un pouf en microsuède pour 2 personnes, un canapé en cuir et une chaise longue électrique pour se détendre. La grande cuisine à manger est récemment mise à jour avec des appareils en acier inoxydable, notamment un réfrigérateur LG, un poêle Fisher Paykel, un Bosch dw, de nouveaux ustensiles de cuisine et des sièges pour six personnes. Profitez d'une vue paisible sur les collines, les toits et les arbres! Deux chambres, les deux avec leurs propres bains !!! Toute nouvelle literie! Vous vous sentirez choyé.

This may be the most comfy, clean and organized VRBO I have experienced. Sandra was very responsive and her personal touches create a true home away from home. Really enjoyed the details of sharing the history of the home and neighborhood. I would stay here again for sure and highly recommend.

Perfect rental

The property was as described, very clean, comfortable, lots of towels, beds very comfortable, nice touch coffee, coffee filters and other supplies provided by the host. Nice neighborhood and walkable to town. My only comment is that our wedding was in Bolinas and the description said it was 9 miles from Bolinas when it was 26 miles and 55 minutes but a nice drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Marin two bedroom

This lovely second floor apt of a duplex was one of the nicest VRBO accommodations we’ve stayed in. Very comfortable and well appointed 2 bedroom close to hiking, resturaunts, downtown San Rafael, and SF. It’s great for cool days and nights. However, no AC, so hot when temps go above 85.

Thank you Peter. Monday was the “hottest day on earth.” I haven’t had anyone complain in 5 years about the temperature because we have new double paned windows, new window shades on every window, three ceiling fans (including both bedrooms), a large cooling tower & 2 space coolers. With windows on all 4 sides of the free-standing building, by opening windows we get a nice breeze in all rooms. I fear you either had the shades up, windows closed and maybe didn’t take as advantage of the cooling tower. Each night the temperature goes down to 50-55 degrees which is a nice break too. Sorry you were uncomfortable.

Perfect Marin Getaway Nest!

We stayed in this location for 8 nights last week. This is a lovely property in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to main roads/highways, shopping, restaurants and recreation. Sandy was was an amazing host and provided everything we needed. Kitchen, bathrooms and all amenities were well appointed and the most organized we have ever experienced in a VRBO. We were staying with our young adult son and teenage daughter and both were cozy and happy with the comfy living room, GIANT bean bag chair and smart TV. The super cute dogs who live on the property added so much charm to our stay, and the lovely fruit trees on the deck provided gorgeous shade to the outdoor dining area. We will be back!!

Charming - Just as it's Described

This was our first time to the San Francisco area and just knew we needed to find something near Fairfax to attend a family wedding. We were delighted to find this house and it is just as charming as the describe. The owners live in the lower level, which we found out when we needed some help lighting the beautiful commercial-grade gas oven. She was there within minutes and helped us get it going. They have tons of material on things to do and see in San Rafael and SF as a whole. We would definitely recommend this house and the owners.

Family reunion

We and another couple stayed here. It is located conveniently to the downtown area. We were not able to walk into town due to weather but it would be a nice walk. The host is very responsive. We lost power during our stay due to weather and she kept us updated on when the power would be restored. The house is clean, well kept and has many necessities available if you forgot anything. You do park on the street but we felt very safe in the neighborhood it is in.

Favorite San Rafael VRBO!

My sisters and I visited San Rafael to see my daughter, who is a senior at Dominican Univ. The 4 of us all loved this property! It's located on a quiet street in a quaint neighborhood that feels super safe. The living room is very comfortable, the bedrooms are spacious with luxury bedding, and the back deck was perfect for coffee in the morning. We didn't cook, but you certainly could with the fabulous gas stove here. The space is immaculately cleaned. Probably the cleanest property I've ever booked. Walkable to many restaurants and the grocery store is a quick drive. Hope to stay here again in May! :).

Beautiful butterflies greeted us at the gate. There is a butterfly sanctuary 🦋. The apartment is bright, clean, and comfy. The beds are firm and comfortable. Supplies for cooking and laundry. Hot showers! Excellent recommendations for places to see and yummy dinner choices. This was the perfect place to stay for us as we commuted to family wedding actives in Novato. A wonderful retreat

It was our base during the weekend of our daughter’s wedding. I ad some baking to do and the oven was great for making traditional Norwegian wedding cake. There is a spaciousness about the place. Good airflow throughout the day. The neighborhood is quiet. Sandra is a very kind host and has created a beautiful and comfortable space.

Beautiful property!

We were visiting our new granddaughter and her parents in San Rafael and the location to their home was perfect. The house is in a beautiful historic neighborhood that felt safe at all times. Everything was immaculate and very comfortable, especially the beds which were made with quality linens. Canceled due to Covid but owner did not refund any money

I realize we had a no cancelation clause, but when the California Bay Area counties issued a lock-down order in early December, we had to cancel and the owner showed no flexibility whatsoever. More than $5000 wasted. My advise to others is not to accept no cancelation clauses, and to be aware that owners may want to be inflexible.

Hi Luis. Let's remember that you booked in August, well into the pandemic shutdown that started in March and FOUR months before your stay. Then, you canceled one week (Dec 9), before your stay, a prime holiday travel time of Christmas AND New Years (Dec 16-Jan 4). I graciously offered "a few nights free in the future," if you booked again! As it is, I was NOT able to re-rent the time. I totally understand that you are frustrated and feel ripped off but your fee of $4,300 would have been a big loss to me when I still have a mortgage, pandemic or not. You agreed to the cancel policy when you booked it. It's not fair to give me a bad review when I did nothing wrong. Good luck to you.

No parties; travel and sight seeing are my top priorities. :-) I also manage a vacation rental, so I understand all the work that goes in to preparing a nice place, and hoping your guests respect and care for your things.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property is perfect in so many ways. You can walk downtown to coffee or dinner...you can quickly call a ride share, or you can be on Hwy 101 or the SMART Train in minutes. Central!! It's also in a historic neighborhood, so the lots are nice and big and there is privacy and you'll feel secluded. Also, BOTH BEDROOMS HAVE THEIR OWN ATTACHED BATHROOM. This means traveling with friends, and still having maximum privacy. All new bedding. All new dishes and cookware. New furniture, ready for you to enjoy lounging and relaxing so you can head out for North Bay adventures.

Two bedrooms with attached baths, one Queen sofa bed in living room. IN RESPONSE TO COVID19, WE ARE DEEP CLEANING AFTER EVERY GUEST. Bleach and alcohol will be used after every stay, all bedding cleaned and all bathrooms completely wiped down. In Marin County there is an *extremely low incidence* of the virus, but we are hypervigilant and wiping down every doorknob and surface for your safe and clean stay.
