We really liked the location of our stay, and it was very clean. However, the king size bed had a lump in the middle of it, making sleeping uncomfortable. No screens on the sliding glass doors to listen to the river run. The front storm door was warped and did not shut firmly, so we could not keep the front door open for extra light and to see outside the front more. I reported it, but no one came to fix it. These things were a disappointment, definitely! Otherwise, it was easy access to many locations in and around Boone.
Took my teens for a weekend in the mountains. Gentle snow the whole time we were there. The house was a comfortable place for us to play games, build puzzles and take walks in the snow. Enjoyed our stay!
Easy check-in. Property is as described in listing. Good communication. Location is great - just 10 minutes from a variety of shopping, dining, groceries in Boone. Good place for a couple to get away; it's on a quiet private street.
Spacious little cabin with a gorgeous view of the rushing creek. Spent every morning with coffee next to the water, so peaceful. Left the bedroom windows open to hear the water all night. Quiet little neighborhood of cabins, barely noticed anyone else. Two minutes from Tweetsie where we took our kids! We will be back!
This is 2nd visit to this property. Great location on the creek and so close to Boone. Small but perfect for 2 couples. Full kitchen. Oven door doesnât seal properly but kitchen has all the necessary amenities. Quiet neighborhood. Would stay here again.
Stayed in Bamboo neighborhood - Goshen Creek for four nights. Super relaxing. Listening to the creek, while on a balcony of a master bedroom was geat. Good kitchen. Tweetsie Park is about 10 minutes to drive. Great for kids. The bed of the master bedroom was comfortable.
It was by far the best cozy cabin we have stayed in. It was just right for my husband and I. We did not want to leave. We usually canât wait to get back to our bed but these beds were so comfy. The little stream that runs behind was awesome. We usually have one thing we donât like about somewhere we stay but here was the best with no problems. We will be back for sure.
We stayed here while visiting our daughter at App State. We didn't want to stay in Boone and we didn't want to go too far out either so this location was perfect. It was only 13 minutes from downtown Boone. The property has a beautiful flowing creek in the back. It is very near the property so there is a chance for flooding if heavy rains come. We were here during hurricane Ira and the property owner came by to suggest we move our truck to a higher driveway down the street. The neighbors all help each other out here. The master bedroom was very roomy and there is a full kitchen and large dining room table. The only downside was the furniture in the living room is very old, like 45+ years old, so it is not comfortable for hanging out and watching a movie. I would recommend the owner updates the sofa and gets more comfortable chairs. We would for sure book again.
This property perfectly fit our needs for our stay in Boone. We asked to stay an additional night! We liked the open floor plan and comfort. We enjoyed watching shows/news on the flat large screen TV. I loved the stackable washer and dryer near the front door in the utility closet. Both units ran quietly.
The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen utensils and is designed for easy access to all up-to-date appliances. The dining room table sat four of us very comfortably. A patio is accessible from the dining room. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size mattress, bathroom, plenty of closet space, TV, and a walkout balcony. A gentle flowing stream of water in a creek behind the house makes anytime of the day refreshing either on the patio or the balcony. The second bedroom has a full size mattress, and plenty of closet space. The second bathroom is across the living room. But that was not a problem for us. Both bathrooms have ample shelving and complimentary bath towels hand towels and face cloths. Two per bathroom. As a general rule, we brought a few of our own towels, clothes hangers, laundry soap, cooking spices, etc. What we didn't bring we made a trip to a nearby Walmart. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Location, cabin and surroundings were incredible!! Loved the rushing stream right off the patio. The cabin was fully equipped, furnishings and bed were comfortable. We lived the street also. Will come back!
The cabin was clean and cozy. The flowing steam right outside the door was beautiful and relaxing. My two young children loved playing outside in the snow and the location was convenient to Boone and Blow Rock.
Perfect little holiday vacation cabin for me and my husband. Centrally located near all our favorite spots. Only 8 min from downtown Boone. Had all the amenities with a beautiful little creek running right outside the back door. Very clean and cozy cabin in quiet pleasant holiday hills.
