Les appartements Tropic Shores sont un complexe calme et luxuriant de 16 logements et l'une des plus belles propriétés de Carpinteria. Votre appartement de luxe est situé à quelques pas de l'une des plus belles plages de Californie. Montez sur le sable et tournez à droite, et vous entrerez dans une plage calme et peu fréquentée, où vous pourrez faire des promenades romantiques ou des descentes rapides sur le sable.

Awesome Stay

Location was great. The beach was just down the block and the little downtown was walkable. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and as described. Communication with Elena was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic value close to the beach

Very clean, cute condo just steps from the beach and the salt marsh preserve. We love how quiet it is a few blocks from the main street, yet easy walking to all Carp has to offer. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Quaint Get Away

My friends and I just loved the town of Carpenteria and the Tropic Shores condo was the best place to enjoy all the town had to offer. We walked 3 blocks into town and 1 block to the beach. What a treasure. We all plan to return.

Seaside retreat

Property is clean, well managed and convenient to beach, shopping and eateries. Also easy access to Ojai and surrounding trails for hiking. Retreat for a retreat

Cute place with fun decor. This was a great little home-away-from-home for two friends attending a retreat in the area. A short walk to the beach. All the basics needed for comfort. Loved the lemon verbena soap and lotion and the tar removal packets. Would stay again in the future.

Great family time in perfect luxury apartments!!!

It was amazing time, with luxury staying. The apartment is spotless clean (I always pay attention to details), Olena was very friendly and very helpful with suggestions. Another amazing feature that the apartment has literally everything you need, including beach towels, umbrella and chairs, first aid kit and aloe Vera to make your vacation as comfortable as can be. Especially thanks to pet friendly option, because a lot of places not allowed dogs, and here my baby can be with me in home comfort. Thank you and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful Apartment 1/2 block from the beach!

This is a gorgeous apartment, well-equipped, and stocked with lots of fresh/unopened food. But the best part is the location, right across the street from a salt marsh nature preserve, and just a half a block walk to the beach. The beach is wide and beautiful and you can walk along it and then along a bike/walking path to tar pits and an overlook of a seal colony. It is so great to be able to do so much without getting in a car. We LOVED our time there.

Overall was good. I made a mistake and thought it was a ground floor apt so was a little hard for us since we are older. But we did enjoy our stay. Beds and furniture could have been a little more comfortable.

Just Terrific

Very clean, professionally prepared and renovated property. Very quiet despite being in a multi uniit complex. Which itslef is very nicely done and clean. Great, safe location to beach and other walking trails literally within a 2 minute walk. Elana is the best host and highly responsive! One of the best property rental decisions we have made - wish they could all follow the recipe of this one. Made for a great Thanksgiving dinner and holiday as a result!

Perfect beach holiday

Our three weeks in Carpenteria were wonderful. The town is quaint with cute shops and good restaurants. The location is perfect for day trips to LA, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez wine country and Solvang. Our favorite activity, though, was walking the beautiful beach in the sunshine. We even saw newborn seal pups on the beach at the seal sanctuary. After a busy day, we went back to the great condo. It was exactly as depicted - clean, and with a great kitchen and everything we needed to cook or go to the beach. We can't say enough about how kind and responsive both Elena and Mike, the owners, were if we had any questions or problems. We will certainly be back.

Carpinteria has been our family's favorite vacation destination since I was a small child in the 1950's. After several years of camping at Carpinteria State Campgrounds, our parents decided to build Tropic Shores Apartments and make this our second home. A few years ago, our parents both passed, away after a full and long life, leaving Tropic Shores to the four brothers, Tom, Richard, Mike, and Jeff. Since we all feel a very special connection to Carpinteria, we decided to remodel the building from ground up, and keep it in the family for our children to enjoy.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Tropic Shores is a small building of 16 units, all located with a center courtyard of lush landscaping...some of which were planted by our father over 50 year ago. The building is very quiet and your are sure to find it easy to relax and re-energize. While we're not right on the beach, we are located so close that you can hear the waves crashing at night. 200 steps and you're on the sand. Directly across the street is the Carpinteria Salt Marsh, which is basically a bird sanctuary. You may enjoy quiet walks through the Salt Marsh watching for birds or other animals while watching the sun rise or set.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Carpinteria is one of the las remaining small beach towns found during the mid 1900's, essentially unchanged over the last 5 or 6 decades. It's a town where you may feel safe allowing your children to walk or bicycle through town on their own. Named "The World's Safest Beach" because of the protection of the Channel Islands, the surf rarely gets very large...but still large enough to enjoy the waves. When you're ready for something more exciting, there are dozens of wineries, golf courses, movie theaters, and restaurants in nearby Santa Barbara and Ventura.
