Great Place

Really great place to stay. Its a convenient location in the middle of a tourist hot spot at south beach, near south point. The beach is 2 seconds away from the door. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby too. I felt very safe there with my 4 year old.

Close to the beach, but small

Location was ideal for a week at the beach. Towels, beach chairs, and umbrella were used daily. Plenty of modes of transportation available (rental bikes/scooters, free trolley, bus, and plenty of Uber and Lyft) to get you where you want to go.

Location was great for a beach vacation. The beach chairs, towels, and umbrella included were great to have. Cozy definitely equals small in this case. Would have preferred a comfortable place to lounge after an afternoon of sun but the plastic dining chairs and bed that was not easy to get in and out of just didn't provide that.

The property was big infested. When I reached out about the property management team had no viable solutions. I had to find a hotel at 3am to go stay at. This had to be the most horrible experience I’ve had ever with VRBO. I ended up staying in a hotel my whole trip and had to fight to get a refund on this stay. They really shouldn’t rent this place out to no one,

Don’t bother

There were bugs all owner the bathroom, the shower was clogged, and the entire room felt sticky. Management didn’t help with the shower so we booked a hotel for the same price no issue. Save your money and go somewhere comfortable.

Wouldn’t recommend it

This property was not what it was marketed to be and we were so disappointed we left the day arrived. Tried to get some compensation from owner and they had no interest in helping. Would not recommend to anyone.

Termite Central

Upon entering the building, there was a weird stench. When I walked into the room I was looking forward to having a rest before going out to the beach, but the moment I out my things down I noticed termites on the covers of the bed, termite wings on the table, termites on the window sill of the shower also on the floor of the bathroom and the tub. I found the broom and immediately swept the space to clean as much as I can. This was an uncomfortable place for me. My first night I was afraid to find more termites but as I uncovered the bed, I noticed that there were termite clusters inside the pillow case. Only one pillow was clean enough and termite less for me to use.

Basic, good stay, excellent location

The apt is small and very basic (especially tiny bathroom), but overall clean and secure/safe. There were a couple small beach chairs in closet, but no beach towels (although I didn’t ask either). The pool was not great and could use a cleaning and upgrade to the lounge chairs (very hard, no cushion). Was easy to find and access per instructions - lot of various emails and texts from different sources but I suppose over communication is better than none. Wasn’t able to check in early or check out later (if available, late check out costs a fee). Overall tho it met my needs, which are pretty basic- safe, clean and excellent location (as close to beach as you can be, right in south beach with all the bars/restaurants but also quiet as you’re just far enough from the action- but it’s only a couple of blocks away)

Great location

First, this location is great! It’s on the Main Street of the Art Deco area of South Beach, but just a few blocks from the noisy nightclubs so it’s quiet enough at night. It’s within easy walking distance of dining, bike rentals, shopping, and clubs. Beach access is literally out the back door of the property. There are two beach chairs, beach towels, and a boogie board in the room. It’s great… if you’re not planning to spend any time in the room except to sleep. The room itself is quite small, far smaller than a standard hotel room. For my stay it was just me and one other person, and we were still constantly bumping into each other. There’s one small closet and one medium sized closet, but the medium closet is full of cleaning supplies. The bed is very low to the ground - too low to even slide a carry on size suitcase under, and if you have any knee or hip problems it would be very difficult to get in or out of bed. The linoleum imitation wood flooring is peeling and cracked. There is a standard drip coffee maker, bring your own coffee. The air conditioner is loud and terribly inefficient. There were plenty of standard sized towels, but the property only has one washcloth, which didn’t work well for a 5 day stay for 2 people. So in summary, the location was my favorite thing about this property. If you have kids, joint problems, or need more than one washcloth, don’t book this one. If you just want a place to sleep for one or maybe two people and you’re not spending much time in the room it would be okay, but I don’t think I would stay here again.

Didn’t have hot water first night and every afternoon afterwards plus the two morning before we left, water pressure is low, very dusty and not as clean as it should be, food on dishes and on cabinet handles fingerprints on cabinets, don’t really want to take shoes off because the floor is so dirty, and needs replaced it is peeling up and exposing what’s underneath, there was sand all over, stains on comforter, hair In bathroom and there was pee all over under toilet seat, the air conditioner is very dirty and the tops of the trim and doors and cabinets have dust overhanging on them, the flooring is falling apart, there is stains and dust on walls, it is very very loud the walls and doors and celings have no soundproof you can hear everything all day and all night clear as if you weren’t in a room. Noisy people especially but even just doors opening and closing and people walking, We had to go get air freshener and cleaning wipes immediately and spent the first half day getting it so we could stay. There were bugs on the countertop, one of the beach chairs was broken so that was a disappointment having to rent chairs, we looked for a new place to stay and everything was booked and even looked at new flights home but the prices were so much higher,

Location was good. Flooring needs to be replaced and the room smelled like mold. Tv did not have service while I was there and I was constantly woken up by noises from the hallway.

Small but worth it!

My boyfriend & I were looking for somewhere that was close to the beach. Check in was easy, house had a lot of beach essentials inside. Def book this place if you’re looking for somewhere to stay over the weekend.
