We once again enjoyed our annual week at Win-San! The condo was clean and well supplied. Everything was great. We are already reserved for next summer, and looking forward to our stay in 2026! Thank you!
The grounds are kept up very well and the apartment that we have stayed in for 15 years each summer was recently upgraded with new blinds and flooring. It is beautiful! Our only negative comment is that there is no on grounds management and repeated requests for relatively minor maintenance problems were not responded to during our two weeks there.
We enjoyed our vacation in unit A220! A minor maintenance issue to report - the hall bathroom toilet runs/refills constently. There must be a slow leak in the water tank flush mechanism. Everything else was great. We have reserved the same unit again for next year!
Condo was terrific. Beautiful views, lovely furnishing and very will stocked kitchen. Beds and bedding were comfy and NSB staff was very helpful and friendly.
First time renters at Win-San. A family member had rented in the past and told us about it. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Everything in the condo was extremely clean. The coffee pot stopped working and was replaced with a brand new one the day we called. The management company was very pleasant to deal with. Hoping to book for next year as well!
I have talked with other friends in front ocean facing apartments and none of them are as high as ours are as far as room rates go. I would like to have this revisited by the NSB realty team to confirm that we are being overcharged. There are some things that I would like to further comment on such as the amount of linen that is left in the room specifically towels and Wash cloths. Quite a few were stained perhaps from make up removal from other tenants. We looked under the bed before leaving and saw a great amount of dust and hair that apparently has not been cleaned properly and the baseboards are very dirty as well as the refrigerator was left stained from fruit juices from a prior tenant. For the past four years the gate going to the beach has been a significant problem for everyone in the condos because the keys work intermittently and people have begun using various instruments to open the gate. Locksmiths have come but they have not been able to resolve the problem. One safety factor is on leaving the parking lot the Bougainvillea at the front bordering Atlantic Avenue obstruct the view considerably.
The plastic verticals in our room along the porch entry have not worked for years and the right side Has to be manually pulled closed in the evening
I contacted the owner because we are Facebook friends and told her some of the problems but also complained about the price because it went up two thousand dollars this year and she said that she has no hand in setting the price so I presume it is an NSB realty management move. I would appreciate you revisiting the pricing to compare six other ocean facing units to confirm what I have found from my friends that are renting in each of those apartments
We have been coming to Win-San since 1975 and will continue to come as long as we are fairly treated. Most often we come with 4 to 5 other apartments rented by our family and extended family under different names as we have for 46 years

We have been coming to this location the same week for years now and absolutely love it. However, ever since the property management has changed so has the experience and the pricing.
Last year we were warned about ongoing construction. We were not expecting loud construction every weekday morning this year. We come to enjoy friends, family, the beach, and the small town atmosphere. We were met with loud noises, dust, extension cords, and debris flying. My mother-in-laws porch at her unit was covered in dust from morning construction... all of our beach towels, sandles, coolers, fishing equipment, etc. With no warning. It was promised to be cleaned and never was.
In addition, pricing increases every year. What are the rising costs really paying for? I wish we could go back to onsite management when all renters issues were remedied in real time.
Cleanliness and sterilization is on everyone's mind during the covid "pandemic". Our room was not clean. Dust and grit in the corners. No sheets for the pullout couch. We hand-washed dishes because there was literally mold growing in the dishwasher. The fridge is starting to go.
Calls to the Property management go unanswered or unreturned and no one's issues get resolved in a timely manner, if at all. This was the case for renters in multiple units this year.
We do absolutely love our unit. I hope we keep coming back. I also hope the service improves, because after this last stay, we were all discussing alternatives.
The only word I can think of to use for this property is perfect! The condo was immaculate. Not to mention everything was updated. There was not one thing lacking in the unit. I have been coming to New Smyrna since 1989. I always stayed at the Islander. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have not been to new Smyrna for quite some time. I found this unit on VRBO. This corner unit supplied views that were incomparable to any Iâve ever seen. Each window you looked out, the ocean and beach were there. We were steps away from many shops and restaurants. This allowed us to walk anywhere we needed and not use the car. However, If you wanted to go further into New Smyrna on the mainland, it was just a short car ride. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit cooler from a cold front. We could still wear T-shirts and shorts, but at night we needed to put on a sweatshirt. However coming from Maine, it was warm to us. Next time I return to New Smyrna, I will be booking this unit. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving 2021 unforgettable.
This was a co do with a view for sure! This condo was very roomy and we were very comfortable! There were a few issues we had to deal with and fixed those on our own. The one thing I was really dissatisfied with was how old the towels and sheets were, they were in not very good shape.. I will say the ones who own condos were wonderful and did make a few new friends!
We really enjoyed our stay at Win-San A220 unit. This was our 7th year at Win-San, this was the best unit to date. The condo was clean and comfortable with a great view.
This condominium unit is perhaps the best you of all of the beach. We love coming here and I've been in this apartment for many years. The only thing that I would make note of is that the fan in the master bath, Does not work and makes a humming noise as though it is burnt out. It has been like this for a couple of years but in the past it ran after a while but now it doesn't at all. Definitely needs to be replaced. Everything else is absolutely perfect. The beds are very comfortable
Nice place to stay. Wish the management would communicate changes more. The not rolling over of the deposit should have been told to us. Also was not pleased to here people who cancelled because of covid have first right of refusal on rooms for next year. What about those of us who made the trip and spent our money. Have stayed here for 7 of the last 8 years but may have to stay elsewhere next year.
We had a very nice week. Just a few comments on some repair items. The window in guest bedroom will not lock. The master bath exhaust fan makes noise, but does not move air. The door key pad/lock is very rusted. A couple of blind slats were broken in bedrooms and livingroom. The beach gate lock was very difficult to operate. Everything else was great! Thank you!
This was our 40+ year stay at WinSan. It is a family thing. We have stayed in several condos over the years but have enjoyed A220 more. Since we have been owners of beach property before we understand the job of keeping one clean and well equipped. Jeanine has been very helpful and personable in the process. Our prayer is this small family oriented complex will continue make improvements and be our family vacation place for years to come.
We love Win San. It's like home to us. We've been staying for years. A220 has the best view of New Smyrna Beach.
