Pour la location d'une demeure de luxe en Toscane, choisissez ce magnifique chĂąteau du XIIĂšme siĂšcle, rĂ©novĂ© au XVIIĂšme siĂšcle par la noble famille Acciaioli. La tour du chĂąteau a Ă©tĂ© construite sur le modĂšle architectural de la tour du Palazzo Vecchio Ă  Florence. Le chĂąteau se trouve au centre d’un vaste domaine de vignobles et oliveraies.

Distances: Montagnana V. Pesa avec magasin alimentaire à 1 km, Montespertoli avec commerces variés à env. 5 km, Florence 20 km, Pise env. 70 km.
ArrĂȘt de bus pour Florence Ă  quelques mĂštres du chĂąteau. Location de bicyclettes et scooter Ă  Montespertoli.

Sieht schön aus, hat aber deutliche SchwÀchen

Pro: Ein schönes altes Schloss in einer malerischen Landschaft Contra: Die Wohnung liegt außerhalb des Schlosses, sie hat keinen Sitzbereich im Freien oder einen Balkon, es gibt keine Klimaanlage, eines der Schlafzimmer hat kein Fenster, die Wohnung ist insgesamt sehr dunkel, alle Installationen in BĂ€dern und KĂŒche sind extrem abgewohnt und teilweise defekt, die KĂŒchenausstattung umfasst nur ein Minimum (z.B. nur 4 Tassen und 4 GlĂ€ser - man muss also stĂ€ndig spĂŒlen), es gibt keine SpĂŒlmaschine, die KĂŒchenausstattung beinhaltet keinerlei Basics (wie z.B. Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker, Essig, Öl, SpĂŒlmittel) Fazit: Sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-VerhĂ€ltnis. Nie wieder Montegufoni!

Pro: A pretty old castle in a picturesque landscape Contra: The appartment lies outside of the castle, it has now own outside-sitting-area or any balcony, there is no A/C in the appartment, one of the bedrooms has no window, the appartment is very dark inside, all installations in the bathrooms and the kitchen (e.g. taps and showers) are very run-down and partially out of order, the kitchen equipment comprises only a minimum (e.g. only 4 cups and 4 glasses - therefore, you constantly have to clean the dishes), there is no dishwasher, there are no basics in the kitchen and you have to buy evreything new (e.g. salt, pepper, sugar, washing-up liquid) Conclusion: Not much value for a lot of money. Never again!

Very nicely maintained property with extraordinary scenery.

An overall pleasant experience. Stellar views from a picturesque facility tucked into the Tuscany countryside. The restaurant is outstanding and one of the best meals we had during our stay. Good access to nearby cities and sites. The facility is portrayed on some websites as a bed and breakfast but there is no breakfast. Higher floors can be reasonably warm in the summer. We did not have any issues with bugs or mosquitoes even though we slept with open windows. We had to buy a wine opener and some basics like dishwasher detergent.

Disappointed in my accommodations they were not in the castle

The listing for this apartment states castle apartment, but it was not in the castle. The apartment was in a building next to the castle. We arrived late and complained to the management the following morning. I was told that I was assigned the apartment that I booked and they could not make a change for us, it was my problem not theirs. We also stayed in this apartment in late June 2017, the weather was very hot in this two bedroom accommodation. There was no AC and one fan in each room. We were given another fan for each room, but it did not do much to cool off the room. Overall it was a clean place to sleep in a quaint area of Tuscany. Management told us there were only four rooms in the castle with AC; be sure to check all the facts before you book an apartment.

Apartment im NebengebÀude sehr enttÀuschend!

Auf keinem Ihrer Fotos ist erkennbar, daß das Apartment im etwas heruntergekommenen GebĂ€ude außerhalb des Castle liegt!! 1. Schlafzimmer oben - zwar mit Fenster. aber kein Fliegengitter, ohne Ende MĂŒckenplage! Kein -wenigstens- kleiner Schutz vor Hitzeeinstrahlung! Nachts entsetzlich heiß! 2. Schlafzimmer kein Fenster! Das 20 x 20 cm Minifenster unmittelbar an der hohen Decke ist in unerreichbarer Höhe angebracht und kann nicht geöffnet werden. Keine Luftzirkulation, jede Nacht auch weit ĂŒber 30 Grad. Fenster im Living Room komplett undicht, nach Regenguss haben wir notdĂŒrftig das Regenwasser im Zimmer entfernt. Zimmer extrem dunkel, die vorhandenen Leuchten spendeten sehr wenig Licht. Eine Leuchte war schon bei der Ankunft kaputt, was auch bis zur Abreise nicht geĂ€ndert wurde. Das sind Dinge, die vom Vermieter ohne großen zeitlichen und finanziellen Aufwand geĂ€ndert werden könnten! Unter diesen Voraussetzungen rechtfertigt im ĂŒbrigen Ihr Mietpreis keinesfalls.

2 bedrooms: 1 without window

The whole setting of the castle is nice and gives an impressions of something special. However the apartment with 2 bedrooms and 1 combined kitchen and living room was lowest category : 1 bedroom had no window, both bathrooms had no window, small window in the kitchen without screen for mosqitos: can you imagine, what happened ? No you can't ! - at the end nights without sleep. No terrace. You could use the garden of the castle of course but not as a private space but just the terrace of the restaurant. would never go there again

I was very excited abut having the opportunity to stay in the castle at Montegufoni. as it turned out we were in a building not attached to the castle. This was not obvious to me when I booked my stay. In addition, there was no Air Conditioning and it was very hot. The management told us they could not change our room because there were completely booked and that we made the reservation so it was not their problem. Warning to verify all facts before booking.

My wife and I along with our two daughters thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return without a second thought. Our apatment with two bedrooms, two baths and kitchen fit our needs prfectly. An ideal place from which to explore the country side. Dinners were varied and of high quality. Our waitperson, Olga, was extremely friendly and conscientious. The chef provide us with a special treat on our last night. We enjoyed sharing dinning with local residents as well. All staff members were professional and extremely helpful.
