Au cœur du village médiéval du Haut de Cagnes très belle maison de caractère entièrement rénovée et décorée avec raffinement pour 5 personnes maximum.
Cette maison très cosy est composée de deux niveaux avec escaliers. Au fil d'une rampe en fer forgé d'époque au 1er étage vous trouverez deux magnifiques chambres, avec petits balcons vue village, composées de la façon suivante : une chambre avec lit double (160cmx190cm) attenante à une très jolie salle d'eau avec douche, vasque, et WC ; puis une autre chambre avec lit double ( 140cmx190cm) .
Au même étage se trouve une charmante petite chambre avec un lit 1 place idéal pour enfant (90x190cm) ou personne de poids léger. Sur le palier se trouve un WC indépendant .Les chambres ont vue village .
Au deuxième étage, vous serez éblouis par cette superbe pièce inondée de soleil et par la vue panoramique sur la Méditerranée . A cet étage se trouve une salle de douche ; une cuisine en open space sur la salle à manger et le salon , le tout donnant sur un balcon offrant une vue superbe des Alpes à la Méditerranée … Venez goûter à la Dolce Vita ...

Great locating in Haute-des-Cagnes

We had a lovely stay in Bella Vista! The house has a great location in Haute-des-Cagnes. The street is quiet, yet close to the square with the Grimaldi castle and several restaurants. The owner is very helpfull.

Great visit in charming Haut-de-cagnes

We had a great stay at Beatrice’s house and the view is absolutely amazing. Beatrice is a wonderful host, and the house and the area was the perfect place for us to stay, and with short distance to surrounding cities. Haut-de-cagnes is a small, but very charming village, with great restaurants and a very authentic and relaxed atmosphere. Great in combination with visiting e.g. a busy city like Nice. Would very much like to come back.

Beautiful house with a view

We stayed in the property over the Easter holiday and enjoyed every minute of it. The property has an excellent view and we spent our morning sitting in the sun looking over the Mediterranean and the Alps. The town is close to Nice, Monaco and we also had a day out in Italy which was only 45mins away. Beatrice took great care of us and I would recommend the property for a family holiday. We will stay again.

Beautiful Home

We loved the house, but there are lots of stairs so if you have someone with knee, hip or back problems it’s not a good idea. It is really a beautiful home though.

Dear Patty, I 'm very happy that you liked the house "Bella Vista" so much. The stairs are specified in the ad as well as shown in the photos. As specified also the house " Bella Vista" is in a Medieval village and like all typical Provençal village houses there are stairs and this is one of its many and authentic medieval charms. These historic village houses have been like this since time immemorial. I'm sure that you realized what makes a Provencal and historical house of South of France unique.

Beautiful Bella Vista!

My husband and I, and our 2 adult children loved staying at Bella Vista! The apartment was lovely! With 3 bedrooms, it fit us all very comfortably. The view from the terrace was spectacular! Beatrice made sure the apartment was full of all the amenities and she was so kind and helpful during our stay. Haut de Cagnes is a beautiful area....such a nice get away from the business of Nice! Wonderful

Cagnes sur mer is a great starting point for trips. 30min by train to Nice, 20min to cannes,1,5h to st tropez (< lots of traffic to go to city center-impossible to find a parking spot in august but ther is a chapelle st anne bit up the hill,you can park there for free have a nice panoramic view over the area and walk downtown in 10min.Beware will be closed at 20h ) a or other very nice villages in the country side around .

A lovely place to stay.

Beatrice & her family are very friendly and made us feel right at home. We liked the house but keep in mind there are a lot of stairs, the kitchen & living room on top & bedrooms down below. There is one full bathroom en suite w/ the “master.”. The other bedroom has a very small toilet across hall & the shower for that room is upstairs next to the kitchen! The town of Haut Cagnes is charming to walk around but keep in mind there is not a bakery to pick up croissants—you must drive down to city center..If you have a rental car make sure to buy insurance as streets are narrow —a lot of maneuvering in & out of parking spot in front of house.

It is true we put all our heart to welcome our guests in a clean, comfortable and warm house. Julie, I advised you to rent a small car for you and your partner, as written in my ad. However, you deliberatly chose to rent a huge 4x4 car despite my wise advice. In the future, maybe you should take into account the advice of locals. Also, I am quite surprised by this remark as you told me it was a luxury to park the car for free just in front of the house, which I confirm as there is very few houses in the village that can offer this opportunity. Concerning the bread and croissant, I told you where to get them in the village just 1 minute by foot from the house... Moreover the center of Cagnes sur mer city is only 3 minutes away by free shuttle or car, or 5 minutes by foot and is really appreciated around the french riviera for the quality of its markets proposing fresh products. About your remark on the stairs, every village's house got them... Concerning the second bathroom, it is supposed to facilitate our guest's life. It is quite the first time a guest is complaining about a supplement of comfort… These remarks tend to show me you are not sensitive to everything that makes a village's house charming and authentic, and it surprises me you chose to rent it as the pictures and the description of my ad are completly honest about what it is. I regret you did not appreciate what make a provencal and historical house of the South of France unique. Beatrice

Breathtaking Views

We stayed at Bella Vista for 5 nights in July/August 2022. Béatrice is a wonderful host, as she was in touch with us from the beginning and throughout our stay. Very kind, open, and willing to answer all our questions. The property is so beautiful, more beautiful than we imagined. The view from the top floor is breathtaking. Every morning we drank our coffees and ate our croissants (bought every morning from the village), right on the terrace, overlooking the Mediterranean. The villa is very well equipped with all necessities, with a mixture of comfort, beauty, and traditional southern French style. Bella Vista is situated in a small village outside of Nice. We chose this particular location because it is so close to everything. We visited Saint Tropez, Saint Maxime, Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Eze, Grasse, and Monaco. We left with unforgettable memories, thank you Béatrice for being such a wonderful host. Daniel and family

Wow Fantastic

The house was incredible. It was beautiful clean and charming. The living area was so comfortable with a great view and terrace. It was always very quiet. The kitchen was perfect. It is right in the middle of the old town high on the hill in Cagnes. It is a 2 minute walk to the old square with restaurants and places to drink coffee or wine. Beatrice was wonderful and took us on a little tour of the town when we got there. She responded to all our needs. There is a free shuttle bus that takes you down the hill to a part of Cagnes with restaurants supermarkets outdoor market etc. from there you can catch a bus to anywhere. We had a car and Beatrice has free parking in front of the house. We made the mistake the first day when we were not sure of the address to continue forward to go around. Never do this through the narrow medieval upper town streets it’s near impossible. Instead when you come and go by car you need to back out of the street. From the house you are so close to everything Nice, Antibes, Cannes, beaches, Italy… this is the place to stay outside the overcrowded other alternatives. One thing to mention, the house on 3 levels has spiral stairs connecting them. We are old and managed but one needs to be careful on the stairs. The house was perfect and wonderful. Stay here if you are visiting the area for a special experience.

Wunderbares Haus in einem wunderschönen, mittelalterlichen Dorfkern

Das Haus ist ein wunderbares Kleinod. Liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und im Herzen des mittelalterlichen Haute Cagnes gelegen, verbreitet es einen mediterranen Charme und lässt den Urlaub sofort beginnen. Das Haus hat drei schöne Schlafzimmer, ein Bad, eine Dusche und noch eine weitere Toilette und ein wunderbares Wohnzimmer mit Küche, das auf seinem Balkon einen herrlichen Ausblick bietet. Beatrice hat uns herzlich und persönlich empfangen und uns direkt bei einem kleinen Spaziergang die wichtigsten Anlaufpunkte rund ums Haus gezeigt: Das Chateau, den idyllischen Schlossplatz, eine Auswahl guter Restaurants, das kleine Lädchen (Brötchen!!!). Cagnes-sur-mer ist ein sehr guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge nach Monaco, Nizza, St. Paul, Cannes, St. Tropez oder einfach nur zum Strand. Der öffentliche Nahverkehr ist toll entwickelt und man gelangt für wenig Geld überall hin. Also: Auto in der Tiefgarage vergessen und Bus & Bahn fahren... Zusammengefasst: "Bella Vista" bietet die perfekte Basis für einen gelungenen Urlaub an der Côte d'azur.

Lovely house, lovely village, lovely host

The house is beautiful, classically French with stunning balcony views over the valley towards Cagnes sur Mer, the Mediterranean Sea and Nice. The location is right in the centre of Haut de Cagnes a beautiful medieval town with narrow streets (rent a small car) and an excellent selection of restaurants (our favourite is Le Baux). It's really convenient to be able to park outside the house and you can quickly visit other fantastic villages such as Vence and St Paul. Morning croissants & baguettes are all available from the local Tabac located in the main square. Beatrice is a great host , very welcoming and friendly. The views from the 3rd floor balcony are spectacular and were home to one or two glasses of "vin rose" watching the sunset. We hope to return in 2019. a Bientot !

Stunningly perfect!! You could not hope for a better house and location.

We stayed at Bellavista for three months and the house can only be described as perfect. This was the second long stay we had in Europe and, as with our first, we are so happy with our choice. Beatrice is a perfect host and not only provides a beautiful house to live in she has lots of useful information about the area. Everything is carefully set out and provided, even down to beach bags and toys for trips to the beach! The house has everything you will need for short or long-term stay. It is very comfortable with a beautiful outlook and well furnished with all the conveniences for relaxing on the Cote D’Azur. Haut de Cagnes is a perfect spot for visiting Nice and the Cote d’Azur. You are living in a small village in the middle of a big city. Everywhere is so accessible – Nice, Antibes and wonderful villages scattering the area – but in the village you are away from all of the crowds (a particular benefit over the busy summer months). We spent our time taking day trips to sightsee, catching the free buses to the beach and then returning home for quiet evenings in the village at the local restaurants and enjoying the jazz bands over the summer. We also spent many days just relaxing in the village, with a playground and cafes just minutes away from the house by foot, along with strolls through the charming winding streets. We are travelling with a two year old daughter and as well as being well set up for adults, the house is also safe and secure for young children. There were even lots of wonderful toys which our daughter was sorry to say goodbye to. Beatrice is so welcoming and generous with her time and even took us to Saint Paul de Vence for morning tea with her and her mother. We can’t recommend Bellavista enough. Whether for a short sojourn or three months we are sure you’ll enjoy your stay. We are so lucky to have met Beatrice and found this amazing spot!

Wonderful Holiday

Beatrice and her mother greeted us on our arrival at Bella Vista after our long journey from Scotland. They explained everything we needed to know for our stay. Bella Vista exceeded our expectations in every way, it was cool and very comfortable. The views from the living area on the top floor are spectacular and breakfast on the balcony is a must as is a glass of wine in the evening. Travel from Haut de Cagnes by the free shuttle bus is so easy and connects you with a service to explore the whole area at very reasonable cost. I would not hesitate to recommend Bella Vista as a base for a relaxing holiday in the sun.

Fantastic apartment in an ideal location

We stayed for a week in this beautiful apartment which is over 2 levels with a balcony with stunning views to the Alps, Nice and the Mediterranean. The apartment is in the village of Cagnes which is elevated over the area. It's a quiet village with some very nice restaurants and bars. It's very easy to get down to the main town of Cagnes Sur Mer by foot or by car for more dining options and lots of shopping options. The beach is close too. Nice is about 15 minutes away and in the opposite direction Juan Les Pins, Antibes and Cannes are not far. The apartment is well located for all these destinations and for the villages behind Cagnes such as St Paul, Vence, Valbonne and Moogins. The apartment was very clean and well furnished and the kitchen had all the things we needed. The owner was very nice and very helpful meeting us on arrival and on departure. They also recommended restaurants and places to see, they even drove us over to a restaurant in St Paul so that we would know where we were going. We would highly recommend this apartment and would love to go back to it at some point. It really is a very convenient apartment for visiting the Cote D'Azur region.

Vous apprécierez la proximité du village avec la mer et le centre ville avec toutes les commoditées urbaines que la séduisante ville de Cagnes sur Mer a à vous offrir. Amateurs de shopping , profitez, à cinq minutes en voiture du village, d'une expérience unique en Europe au sein du Polygone Riviera où boutiques de luxe, de bien être, restaurants, casino et autres cinémas vous attendent dans un majestueux et tout nouveau complexe. Vous apprécierez également la richesse culturelle des musées d' art situés sur la côte d'azur.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Cette très belle maison est très accueillante et chaleureuse. Son emplacement idyllique saura vous ravir d'une vue imprenable sur la méditerranée. La décoration faite avec goût et soin est propice à votre détente et votre confort. A deux pas de la Chapelle Notre Dame de la Protection réputée pour ses fresques datant de 1530 et du Château Musée Grimaldi. Le village est situé en plein centre de la Riviera ce qui représente un atout majeur pour organiser les visites de tous les sites et villes aux alentours .
