Adirondack Lakefront Retreat sur le réservoir Great Sacandaga situé à Northampton, NY est une belle propriété d'un acre avec 141 pieds de façade sur le lac avec 2 chalets en bois saisonniers et une maison de 2 familles.

Profitez de toute la propriété pendant les mois d'été pour une intimité totale et pour renouer avec la famille et les amis. Il n'y a nulle part ailleurs comme ça pour voir les levers de soleil tôt le matin et les magnifiques couchers de soleil du soir.

Dès votre porte, vous avez accès à la baignade, au canotage et à la pêche tout au long de l'été. La retraite offre une grande cour en pente douce et une plage de sable pour tous les âges ainsi qu'un foyer pour les contes nocturnes et l'observation des étoiles. Un quai privé et une bouée d'amarrage vous permettent d'amener un bateau ou 2 ou vous avez la possibilité d'en louer un, si vous le souhaitez, pour découvrir le magnifique lac et ses nombreuses îles.

Il y a beaucoup d'espace pour se promener sur la propriété pour un plaisir sans fin et une détente en plein air. Des tables de pique-nique, un bac à sable et une balançoire pour les enfants et un filet de volley-ball sur l'herbe, ainsi qu'une fosse en fer à cheval occuperont tous les âges. Une fantastique salle de jeux est située à côté des cabines et dispose d'une table de billard, d'un air hockey, d'un baby-foot, de sièges confortables et d'une télévision à écran plat. Une table de ping-pong est située dans le patio extérieur couvert de la maison principale avec des sièges supplémentaires.

CHAQUE unité a sa propre cuisine entièrement équipée, un barbecue à gaz extérieur, une salle de bains avec douche et un coin salon / repas. Le porche fermé des cabines est parfait pour se détendre / dîner avec de nombreux sièges et une vue imprenable sur le lac. Il y a même une barre sèche pour les adultes.

La propriété est près de Saratoga Springs, du lac George et de Cooperstown pour de grandes excursions d'une journée.

Great Trip!

We just got back from this trip. We went with 5 families that our sons play baseball together. We had an amazing time from start to finish. The location on the lake is absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to do it again!

family vacation

We had 11 adults with us, three generations of family. The property is fantastic. There are lots of open shared areas for meals and visiting, but also spaces where night owls and early birds can do their thing without bothering the others. Tons of stuff to do. The lake is gorgeous. Everything is clean as a whistle. We will definitely be coming back!

The room and bed count was a little unclear in the posting. But it turned out to have plenty of room. We were able to accommodate two boats which I appreciated. The host was very friendly. Everything was clean. We are likely to repeat at some point. Thanks Mary The Tenison’s

Fantastic!

Mary met us there when we arrived and was great in explaining everything we needed to know. There were 12 of us, we were celebrating milestone birthdays. We had plenty of space for everyone and we didn't need for anything. We had so much to do there that we didn't even go out to explore, we stayed put and had so much fun! It was absolutely perfect I highly recommend this and we're thinking of going back again some day. Thanks Mary!!

Best place for a family reunion!

I really can’t say enough about how wonderful this property is. Mary was absolutely wonderful to work with. Always so quick to respond to any of my trivial questions! Even let us come out several weeks early to check out the layout in order to help us figure out who would go where! The set up of 4 separate “apartments” was ideal! Each family had their own fridge and fully stocked kitchen.(Although do remember to bring all cooking items needed like spices, cooking sprays, foils etc.) The common area with all of the tables was where we set up food items to share! What a perfect place for playing cards, games and puzzles! There are so many great gathering areas. In the morning you would find the early risers sitting down in the Adirondack chairs reading. Then we would gravitate up to the covered patio area to share some coffee and breakfast items. At night we’d hang out in the common area and some night enjoyed some multi generational family fun in the game room playing pool, air hockey and foosball. My favorite was reliving my college days playing Ms. PAC-MAN! Of course we usually ended the evening with a relaxing gathering by the fire pit! One overcast day we took a nice ride into Northville, a cute little town with a great Five and Dime general store! On sunny days we bounced around from the various water toys that Mary provides! Kayaks, paddle boat, canoes and the kids favorite - the floating mat! By the end of our week we all were talking about coming back again!

Our yearly family vacation in the Adirondacks

This was our 13th annual vacation with our family in the Adirondack region. The Adirondack Lakefront Retreat was a new location for us this year due to our growing family. We found the facility very well kept, a wonderful large beachfront with sandy shallow access for little ones and the grounds were huge and we were able to take advantage of the area for multiple yard games. There was also a nice play area for the little ones with the sandbox and climbing set with slide. The interior facilities we're well kept and we had plenty of supplies for meal preparation. One of the nicest features was all the seating available both indoors and outdoors for our large meal gatherings and for gameplay. We will definitely want to return again as we all had a very nice week away together.

A fantastic, memorable week!

Our group was comprised of 4 families from one large, extended family- Mom/Gramma, her 4 children and their families. At one point there were 23 of us! This worked out great because each of the families had their own space including separate kitchen, bathroom, and grill, and yet we were all together! The yard is large and perfect for playing games and gathering at the tables. We enjoyed the fire pit a few different nights (all of the wood is provided), used the volleyball net and badminton rackets... The beach is incredible! The lake is so clean and the dock was easy to access. We loved hanging out in the water and floating/swimming every day. Mary advised us so that we could rent a pontoon boat for our stay ahead of time. We truly loved pontooning and tubing on the lake all week! Each night we ended up on the tables in the long cottage that are screened in (Large and Small mouth bass). The tables were perfect for games, cards, puzzles, and potluck meals. We ended up calling that area "the lobby" because we spent so much communal time there together! The laundry is more up to date than listed, with a large front load washer and dryer- no coins were needed! We were close to town for souvenirs for the kids and there were multiple choices for our groceries, etc. This is the ideal property for a large group comprised of all ages. We were never bored. The teens loved the game room and we were private enough that we could get noisy with our karaoke at night and not worry about disturbing neighbors. It seems like Mary has thought of everything... There was every kind of dish/pan/crockpot that you could need, and there was extra propane for the grills. I could go on and on! We can't stop thinking about the beach/yard and how wonderful it was! We are already making plans to return!

The Best

The property was immaculate. Very well maintained. Private beach with plenty of water toys. Private dock for the boat that we rented. Game room for "kids" of all ages. Kitchens with everything that you need. Plenty of room for a large group to get together, or to be by yourself if you want. Our host was great. Meeting us when we arrived to give us a tour and explain everything. She was just a phone call away. We have stayed at many places in the past, but this was the best value for money. Our group included people from 7 to 70+ years old. We all loved it. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. We will definitly be going back!

Great property for large groups

We're 5 families (20 people total) who vacation together in the Adirondacks every year and this is the best place we've stayed yet. We were left wanting for nothing as this place is equipped with everything we needed. A huge yard overlooking the lake with beach area and dock, with toys, kayaks and game room provided ample entertain for all the kids in our group (10 total). Mary, the owner, was readily available and there when we needed anything, and went above and beyond expectations. We'll definitely be booking again for net summer.

Easy folks to work with. Surprisingly workable layout for multiple ages and family entities. A/C a welcome amenity during high temperatures. Good cooking facilities in each section. Lots of kayaks, toys, entertainment. Good wifi. We enjoyed our stay

Wonderful week on the lake!

Our week at Adirondack Lakefront Retreat was wonderful! The property was exactly as described. We had five families together for a biannual trip and the long house gathering room was perfect for meals and gatherings. Plenty of chairs available and the dock allowed us to bring boats for tubing and fishing. One of our guests is in a wheelchair and he was able to access most of the property with his chair. Lots of level ground. A/C in each bedroom was appreciated during the hot week! We had a question on the first day and Mary responded to our text within minutes. Definitely a property I would return to!

We called it the Great Sacandaga Family Retreat

Families take vacations for a number of reasons: some to get away, some for total relaxation, some to see different places, others to reconnect with family. Our time at the Adirondack Lakefront Retreat was for all of the above and more and we were not disappointed. A certain amount of planning was done before we even left: arranging the rooms, which family would do a dinner on a given night, where we would spend time if there was inclement weather, etc. We planned where we would go to Church on Sunday, etc. Most of our planning was really not needed. This retreat on my favorite lake took much of it away. We just arrived set up shop and the kids were off in the boats with all of the safety preservers provided. Dinner the first night was simple: pizza. After that each night had a theme; for example Tuesday was Taco Tuesday with special table cloths, hats, and other special touches. The kids loved it. The game room was off limits except on rainy days and that was perfect. Rarely was a child seen with a cell phone, the bane of modern society. I did call Mary about a small situation and she was there almost immediately with a cure. She was the perfect hostess for a vacation such as this. The small touches that she supplied were also gratifying, such as board games, the time-our table, the toys for beach and sandbox, a grill for each cottage, radios and wi-fi which was only used for my son-in-laws homework, and checking out various places that could be visited. My favorite room was the main dining room which easily fit everyone for family dinners. Other meal were basically impromptu, which was fine. All in all my family all agreed that we would like to do this again, perhaps not next year but certainly in 2 or 3 years. They were unanimous in singing the praise of our Adirondack Lakefront Retreat.

Lovely place for a large group

Wonderful piece of property right on the water which was fantastic for a very hot week! Great place for children! Mary was super nice and helpful. We are looking forward to returning next summer!

A great family retreat

My extended family of 28 gathered for the sixth year in a row at the Adirondack Lakefront Retreat and once again had a fantastic time. Plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing: paddling kayaks on the lake, building sandcastles on the beach, playing pool in the game room, or reading a book in a shady corner. And enough room for all of us to gather for dinner at the end of each fun-filled day. The retreat has gotten even better with Mary as the new owner. The property is immaculate when we arrive, upgrades appear every year, and if an issue does arise, Mary responds immediately. We look forward to our return!

Great place for family to get together!!!

We had such a great time at the lake. This little gem of a get-a-way is just perfect for families to spend some quality time together. Between the kayaks, canoes, games, yard and well everything else, we could not have asked for anything more. Looking forward to coming back next year. You will not be disappointed with your stay here!!!

Great spot for a family reunion!

This was our fourth and best year at the Retreat, thanks to a new owner who's enthusiasm resulted in great communication, a clean and tidy property, and a bunch of improvements. The addition of kayaks, a canoe, and a paddleboat was a huge plus. There is plenty of space for all 26 of us to spread out. The game room is always a big hit with the teens, and the large sun porch allows us to all get together for dinner every night. The fire pit is perfect for making s'mores or late night stargazing. And sunrise on the the lake is not to be beat. We're look forward to next year!

Exceeded expectations!

Brought nearly an entire boy's soccer team to the location for a weekend tournament...had an absolute blast! The property was clean and well kept, the view and the lake both perfect. Mary (the owner) was communicative and responsive...no complaints, and we can't wait to come back!
