Great Weekend Getaway
We decided on a last-minute weekend getaway, but ran into a problem booking. Our host, Anthony, was very helpful in getting things squared away and booked.
The location is nice and secluded, so you don’t have neighboring houses right on top of you. The house is very spacious - even though it was just the two of us and our dogs, there’s plenty of room to have multiple family members, with enough separate spaces so that everyone isn’t on top of one another all the time. The bed in the master is very comfortable, and we both slept great! The house inside is nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our weekend. Having a large heated mud room entrance was nice since we brought our two dogs (thanks for being dog-friendly!) and it rained all weekend. We were able to towel them off and clean them up before going inside. The fenced-in yard out back was another plus for people traveling with their pets. We wish the weather had been better so we could have sat outside by the pond and have a little bonfire and a cocktail. We did enjoy seeing the ducks and geese come visit the pond every morning.
Anthony was very responsive to any questions we had, and even called us when we arrived to make sure we got in alright and didn’t have any initial questions or concerns. Absolutely loved our weekend here and would book again, but for longer next time!
