Marchez 50 étapes dans une direction légèrement différente pour récompenser le restaurant primé Hukilau Lanai pour le dîner, les cocktails et la musique en direct, ou le Spa Makaiwa pour un massage ou un soin du visage.

Wonderful Location

It is easy to get to the north and south of the island, as the location is in between. It is very nice having a bedroom with a door and lots of eating places and groceries close by. Thanks!

The property is nice. The VRBO was very comfortable. It is up to date and clean. We had everything we needed. The staff on the property was very nice and helpful. We like the location. It was central to the other section of the island.

Great place and location!

The place was just as described! Very clean and well appointed! The place had everything we needed! The bed was soft, but comfortable and the space was perfect for 2/3 people! The facilities were very well cared for and the place was very clean! There is a market across the street and the beach is easily walkable, but not for swimming as the water is a bit rough. Location was great in the middle of the island, thanks for the wonderful stay!

Great Stay on the East Side

The condo was an excellent home base for our stay on Kauai. We were able to explore both the north and south shores easily from the location. Situated right next to the marketplace and a longs drug was so convenient for when we needed to pick something up quick whether it be sunscreen or a meal. The room is exactly as pictured. We had no complaints. Overall would highly recommend and stay again.

Relaxing suite with close proximity to everything

The condo was clean, well stocked, and ready for a relaxing trip to Kappa. It’s close to nearby restaurants, shops, beaches, parks, and hiking trails. It was a gem.

Fantastic location and cute unit; wouldn’t hesitate to reserve again!

Fantastic location; the property owner was swift and helpful in communication in check in. Love that the unit has the basics for kitchen and beach going items. Air conditioning was a life saver too! Would recommend to others and as someone who has used Pono Kai, Lae Nani, Kauai Shores condos, I would highly recommend this unit. Mahalo!

Beautiful Property in Kauai

We had an amazing stay in Kauai. The check-in was easy, the unit already had the ac and fans running so it felt great as we opened the door. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and preparing meals. They have beach chairs and a cooler, which we used everyday. We loved how close the shopping is across the street and how it's centrally located on the island so we could go to the north or the south in about the same time. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend staying in this unit.

Wonderful condo in a great location

This place is really nice and clean. Everything seems new, with a classy, colorful decor. The couch and bed are very comfortable. The owners obviously take great pride in the place, and it feels more like being in someone’s home than in a rental. We love the location. It is so convenient and fun to have the Cocoanut Marketplace right next door. Two of our favorite restaurants are there (Sleeping Giant and Lava Lava). If you want to eat in, Safeway is about a 1 to 2 minute drive from the condo. If you just want to take a day off and do nothing, the beaches are wonderful and just a short walk away. We are definitely coming back to this little gem.

Convenient and clean

This place was perfect for us first time visitors to Kauai. It was just myself and my husband and the space was just right. It was clean and management provided just the right amount of amenities. Martie Law was quick to answer any questions. The place was across the street from the marketplace and it was so convenient. We rented bikes and we could get around town no problem. There was also a beautiful bike/walk/run trail along the beach which was amazing. We drove to the north side and south side and we loved being fairly close to each. We stayed mostly on the east side as there was a lot to do and see. We had a blast. Thank you for making our 25th anniversary memorable and fun.

Really liked this place

We really liked this place. It was clean, and we really appreciated the snacks that were left for us. The bed...omg. Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Just amazing. The perfect combo of firm and soft. I like soft and my boyfriend likes firm. We both thought it was so comfy. The shower floor was kind of uncomfortable. They used stones to line it. While I thought it was aesthetically pleasing, stepping wrong on one of the stones was kind of painful. Other than that, this place was basically perfect.

Homey but old

Apt was well stocked could have had some pool towels but everything else we needed was in the apt. King bed was exceptionally comfortable.. Patio view of coconut plantation was disappointing. Even though clean it had an old musty smell. No dishwasher or washer and dryer in unit.

Good value for money

We checked in around midnight filled out the form and returned the next morning to fill out the same form that was misplaced. On arrival there was a musty smell. This dissipated with time. The location is good, but there is constant traffic noise when you are outside. The traffic noise is not an issue when you are inside the unit. The unit is well equipped to make your own meals, and we appreciated the spices and coffee filters. The only things that would make the unit perfect are a safe and magnifying makeup mirror. The pool was nice, but you can see where maintenance is required as the paint is chipping off. The BBQ worked fine. The balcony is shady in the morning which is nice. We used the beach chairs and they were great. The bed is super comfy. Overall it is a nice place to stay.

It was really just quite lovely.

This little one bedroom is really so nice in every way. Everything is brand new and fresh and beautiful. There is brand new stuff everywhere, like beach chairs and cooler in the closet we didn't even use. The king bed is super comfy. The pillows are so nice I wanted to smuggle them home. The kitchen has everything you need and is compact and fun to cook in. The living area is quite nice with a great TV if you need that. I'm not techy, but the TV and associated boxes seemed to have every device and channel needed. Being on the second floor was important to us because we prefer fresh breezes to air con. We were able to sleep every night enjoying the Hawaiian air through the open sliders. When it got warm, the ceiling fans took care of moving the air, no need for the air con. The location was perfect. We have been to Kauai often and prefer to be middle east on the island so we can go north or south as we want to. Also this location allowed easy walks to the beach, restaurants, super markets and a pharmacy. The immediate neighborhood of this place was perfect. The Country Market just across the street had groceries and ready to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner options, as well as coffee, smoothie and wine and rum drinks! So easy to go back and forth and get stuff. Also there is a farmers' market twice a week in the parking lot with all kinds of Hawaiian grown fruit (sugar pineapples!!) and little coconut mango and other kinds of bread loaves. We also enjoyed other options of the Coconut Marketplace - the shops, pizza place, hula shows, and Friday evening music. Then there is Hukilau Lanai, a very fancy restaurant, just steps in another direction. We ordered take out from them and ate it on our porch. Plantation Hale A11 was just a really really nice place to be. Thank you Martie who was so kind and made everything work for us. We'll be getting in touch with you about coming back!!

It's nice on the inside...

I have to say I was not impressed at all with the actual property, it gave me a creepy old motel feel. However the actual unit is clean and comfortable- just didn't enjoy the balcony at all. I also would recommend that when they know someone is checking in to leave the A/C or at least a fan going. It was very unpleasant to come in tired and feel so hot & muggy. My daughter & I had to take cold showers just to cool off- that's not a welcoming feeling in my opinion. It does have 1 A/C and it does eventually cool off the unit which was nice once it did. I know not many places have AC but if at least there was better circulation in the unit it wouldn't be such a big deal, one other VRBO I rented on our trip did not have A/C but the air circulation and outside breeze was fantastic unlike this unit, so be sure to take advantage of the A/C. The kitchen was very well stocked and TV's worked well for the little bit we used them. It's very convenient to walk to the shopping center nearby, but don't go to the "beach" across the street, it's not swimmable & had some shady characters there, I must've missed the beach mentioned in the description because the one across the street is definitely not it. I also didn't appreciate the email I received upon checkout asking us to make sure to pick up (do dishes- no problem with that) but when I'm paying a cleaning fee I don't appreciate being asked to haul trash outside or to remove bed linens. I didn't, it was a polite request, to be honest, but again, if we're paying a cleaning fee, I don't think that should even be mentioned. If you like the area and the outside of the property is not important to you, this is a very nice unit and once cooled was comfortable to stay in.

Kapa’a stay

A modest condo with lots of amenities. Good bed and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. Really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, beach cooler options, as well as ice packs. Property manager was responsive to our questions. Great location with access to both north and south shores.

Great!

I love how it was in the middle of the island. We were able to go to the bottom and top of island very easily. And it was nice it had food places in a little center and a ABC store near by. It also had a lot near by. The place was great it had everything you could think of that you needed. Theirs s laundry room and they also had beach chairs and towels.Full on kitchen and bathroom essentials such as a blow dryer. This place was super cute and Martie the owner was great!
