We arrived a little late at the studio apartment we rented for eight nights, but Annie the host was waiting and greeted us with open arms. Since the studio is on the fourth floor, she first showed us the way up the stairs and went down to carry our two suitcases up the lift. We walked through apartment and it was just as she described and the pictures posted. The bed was medium soft and the square pillows not too hard. My neck injury requires softer pillows, so I was happy. Wife loved the little kitchenette with two burners, microwave and small washer dryer combo.
The weather in France in Iâd October was warmer than usual, everybody said. It only rained once. We were lucky. Our excursions took us the Louvre, Eiffel, Monmartre, Montpasse, Versailles. We frequented The Smiths Bakery and restaurants in the Latin Quarter. But le Petite de Benoit nearby was favorite. Annie brought over croissants one morning and we chatted a bit. She wanted to make sure we were doing ok. I highly recommend her place.
This lovely little apartment is perfectly located one block from a metro station and about three blocks from the Louvre. We were able to walk to most of the famous sites of Paris as well as restaurants, pastry shops and a grocery store.
The apartment was clean and had everything we needed including a washing machine. There are quite a few steps but Annie took our luggage up and down with an elevator in another part of the building. She was also very helpful with directions and suggestions. This will be the apartment I will try to get when we return to Paris!
A perfect spot in a perfect location. What a great experience just wandering around the area of Saint Germaine and the West Bank. Short walk to all the landmarks. And Annie was fantastic. Great communications. Highly recommend!
This apartment was not as it was presented on the listing. Nowhere on the listing did it say that it was on the 4th floor. I had a condition that made climbing stairs extremely difficult and would not have chosen this had I known. There were insufficient instructions as to how to use the combo washer/dryer. It also seemed that someone lived there as there were drawers filled with personal items.
This property is ideally located in the sixth arrondissent St Germain. Annie is very helpful during check-in and check-out with luggage. she is available immediately anytime we needed anything. It is on a walk up, but that makes it very quiet. The bed is large for Europe and so is the closet. She provided Nespresso pods for coffee and everything was spotless.
My daughter and I spent a wonderful 5 nights in this charming apartment. The host, Annie, is a delight and made our stay so pleasant! The apartment is on the 4th floor, but Annie helped us by bringing our luggage by elevator at both our arrival and departure. The apartment is so comfortable and had everything we could have needed during our stay. Lastly, I can't say enough good things about the location of this apartment. We loved the neighborhood, and you are within easy walking distance of so many attractions! Also there are several Metro stations close by. If I return to Paris I will absolutely hope to stay here again! Merci, Annie!
We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is exactly as described - comfortable, with everything you need to launch your Paris adventure. We spent most of our time exploring the city from this ideal location to then come home in the evening to a comfortable bed, kitchenette, and a quiet place to relax. Annie was communicative, accommodating and loaded with suggestions. It was especially helpful to have assistance with our luggage upon arrival and departure. Thank you Annie!
We stayed at this apartment during our anniversary trip to Paris and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent - centrally located in the 6th Arrondissement and just a short walk to Metro lines #4 and #10, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. There are several great restaurants, a grocery/housewares store, and a boulangerie all within a five-minute walk or less. The apartment itself was clean, quiet, and felt very safe. While compact and up four flights of stairs, it had everything we needed. It served as a comfortable base for exploring the city as well as taking day trips away from Paris. Annie, our host, was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided clear instructions, made us feel right at home when she welcomed us, gave great local recommendations, and checked-in to make sure that everything was alright. Her thoughtful hospitality added a personal touch that made our trip even more special. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and cozy spot in the heart of Paris.
Annie was a great host, and brought our luggage up to this 4th floor apartment because there is no public lift, however she left on her own vacation before we checked out so I had to carry luggage down 86 very narrow spiral stairs. The apt is small, b
Câetait magnifique! This is truly the best location and one of the loveliest neighborhoods in Paris. Close to all sights, restaurants and shops. Annie was a terrific host, with excellent communication before and during our stay. Her apartment is immaculate and pin-drop quiet. Bed is comfortable and shower quite modern by Paris standards, with plenty of hot water and excellent pressure. Kitchen is well-equipped for a quick meal. We would definitely return. Thank you for hosting us, Annie.
Very close to the metro, so it's easy to get to. Everything you need for cooking meals in, grocery store nearby. Extremely clean.Annie, the host is extremely nice and helpful, getting your luggage to and from the apartment .Please realize that you are staying in an apartment, so it's going to be different from a hotel. And it is four flights of stairs up, which isn't as bad as it sounds. We were able to manage without difficulty.I would definitely stay here again
We had a wonderful five night stay in this charming apartment that had a large comfortable bed and efficiency kitchen. Nice bathroom with shower and sink; a second one with sink and commode. The shower/tub combo is great for baths and a little narrow as showers go but perfectly functional. The apartment was very clean and well cared for. Annie was super helpful, providing nice recommendations for food in writing and for touring when we asked. Iâd definitely recommend this to anyone or any couple as long as they were good with stairs. Annie was very helpful though with the stairs on arrivalâshe got our luggage up, and we didnât accept the offer to bring our luggage down at the end of our stay because we didnât have a lot to carry. In any case, I would gladly stay again because of the location, the homey feel of the apartment, and Annieâs hospitality.
This was a cozy apartment with everything we needed. The host was amazing and helped us with our bags on check-in and check-out. There was a large walk-in closet for our suitcases and clothes for the week. We loved the book-lined walls and the plush reading chair--it was the perfect place to sit after a long day.
In terms of the apartment layout, there is a galley kitchen with all the necessities (refrigerator, washer/dryer, sink, microwave, stovetop). The bathroom amenities are split in the layout. The toilet is separate from the sink and shower. The shower is triangle-shaped, so you cannot necessarily stand under the showerhead comfortably depending on your size; however, this was not an issue for us--great water pressure and hot water.
As for the location, it was perfectly situated in the beautiful St Germain de Pres. We were within walking distance of so many lovely cafes and restaurants. If this apartment is available during our next trip, we will return.
Annie was extremely helpful and was very nice during our stay. The apartment was clean and well taken care of. Additionally the location was perfect for our stay.
