The pull out sofa bed was brand new and strapped on still. After communicating with VACASA regarding the straps, I was quickly reassured and instructed to remove the strap for use. This townhouse is beautiful with stunning views.
The house exceeded our expectations in every way. Comfortable, attractive, easily found - just drive straight up Swan. The view is marvelous and we'll come back. Excellent!
Wonderfully charming and well kept condo in the foothills over looking Tucson.
Quiet neighbourhood with friendly and welcoming neighbours. Highly recommended this place, canât beat the sunsets enjoying a cold drink the patio! Definitely requires a vehicle, tons of trails for hiking near by and shopping areas 10 minutes or less be car.
About 20-25 minute Uber down town pending where youâre headed, but easy to secure a ride in and out if you want to do enjoy the night life.
I thought this condo was in a great location for us. It was close to restaurants and a grocery store, and a couple of small strip malls with Walgreens and UPS stores. There is a small trail system right next to the condo. This does connect to a longer trail if you want to walk that far. It also faces west so we were able to catch the sunset every night. It was clean. There are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed but nothing to interfere with every day living. I have left a private message for Vacasa so hopefully these will be addressed.
nice stay. few items definitely need to be addressed. our stay was to have been one month. for that time period there was inadequate amount of paper towel x toilet tissue. dish soap minimal.
there were no kitchen linens provided forcing need to use bathroom towels. if
covid precautions are reason for no towels then paper napkins and many more paper towel
rolls needed.
seems small, but iâve never needed to provide above for ourselves.
vacasa responds but donât expect quick time.
love the location, the style, privacy, enclosed outdoor space for dogs, sunset, easy access to trails, close to El Cisne!!! the home has wonderful art and furnishings, not fussy, just comfortable. feels like home :)
Loved being able to bring our dog and the patio worked perfectly for him. Location was great, close to all we were doing. Kitchen is in need of updating, but probably only an issue if you cook there. We were there 3 weeks & cooked all our meals there. Had a small maintenance issue and a very nice young man was there within 30 min of our call which was awesome. Sunset views are perfect.
This place is FABULOUS!! We visit my veteran son twice a year in Tucson. It is elegant yet cozy, immaculate, private and tasteful. I came by myself this time and the area is safe, restaurants nearby and lovely trail to walk in the neighborhood (Serpentine Trail). Pool is immaculate and for a Michigan girl what a treat to walk to enjoy the pool in March!! This will be our vacation destination every year. Because I am technologically challenged I could not get the keybox open when I arrived and a wonderful young man named Dillon came immediately and showed me what I needed to do. I am so impressed with the townhouse and Vacasa. The travel was easy with good access to Tucson. There is no smoking and I was so glad of that. the outdoor and indoor areas are beautiful. Interesting art inside and immaculate with welcome coffee and everything you need. This is our Tucson destination every year! Booking now for next year. I have never experienced such great service and gorgeous place. Also, beautiful canyon behind townhouse and Catalina Mountain view. Thank you, thank you.
I loved the authenticity of this charming home. The layout was great, opens to sw facing patio overlooking the arroyo and on to the Mts. Sunsets were fab!
Walk out the patio gate and access the trail.
Near shopping and restaurants if you like (el cisne). !!
Quiet, peaceful, restorative. Plus we had our pooch, which made us and Lola sooooo happy.
It was very good⊠and I loved the SW art, the books, the furnishings.
Weâll be back!
This property sits on the foothills with a PERFECT view of the city and surrounding mountains in the distance. Every evening we looked forward to the sun setting on the mountains with hues of pink, purple and orange, with the city lights twinkling in the distance. On our last evening a crescent moon appeared which enhanced the view even more! Beautiful!
Was not impressed with this property.
There was a peculiar smell when you walked in, each time. Mold? Mildew? Old?
We received bites during the nights- bed bugs? spiders?
Master bathroom is lovely.
Showers- we never had hot water
Lights above sink- the wattage in light bulbs are too low for proper application of makeup
Before I booked I asked if this was a house or duplex, I was told it was a house. Its a Triplex with a shared wall. Also the bedrooms had carpet in them that were heavily stained with pet urine odors. The smell was so strong, I bought a pet odor deodorizer to try and minimize the smell. It did not help. The sofas had stains on them as well. When having a rental property remove the carpet or regularly shampoo the carpets and furniture. I will not stay here again because of the excessive urine odor.
We loved the location in the Tucson area; quiet community; killer SW view of city lights and mountains. The home is totally Southwestern charming with kiva/beehive fireplace, pottery, Pueblo ladders, rugs and more. Very tasteful and comfy. Well supplied kitchenware. Everything worked. The pictures on-line are accurate. Live this property and will seek to return. Good grocery stores nearby including AJâa Fine Foods, good restaurants, and great hiking venues. We will be back. Thank you to our hosts for making your property available and sharing your love of the Sonoran Desert and southwestern cultures!
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Disappointing listing
While the property advertised a shared pool (shared with the main house), the pool is actually a neighborhood pool .25 miles down the road. Had it been properly advertised, we would have chosen somewhere else as this was not what we were looking for. Then, on our last morning, the water went out-not the property ownersâ fault of course but a dismal end to a disappointing stay.. if you arenât looking for a pool, the place is nice. We were specifically looking for a pool so we were extremely disappointed in the deceptive listing- never what we have experienced with VRBO in many years of renting.
We very much enjoyed our stay I took my 94 year old dad kind of in a bucket list trip, my wife and I stayed at a different VRBO in February near Tucson, we did notice the difference from the previous one which had many many items stocked oh, it kind of felt a little bit more like this one was kitchen Suites, the bare minimum of what you needed. About $50 more of little tiny things in the kitchen would have made Finishing Touch. But we understand that is the nature of the rentals, we did get a bit spoiled on the first one, kind of felt like you moved into your own house. All-in-all would rent again great location.
