Incredible view of the sunset, the ocean. Staying here was amazing and a total gem. The place is so spacious and well decorated. Awesome proximity to everything! Would definitely stay again.

Spring Break Trip

We had an amazing stay in San Diego and this was the perfect condo to end our trip! Location was perfect in the Pacific Beach area with easy walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Unit was as advertised and very nice and we loved sitting on the couch watching the beach and ocean and listening to the waves! Strongly recommend!

Out stay was beautiful and the location was the best- access to the water, surfing, and listening to the ocean waves. Parking and showers to remove the sand was very convenient. The check in process was very smooth and thank you Fabi for great instructions. The condo was clean with the best view - older building with washer and dryer on the floor. bring your own beach towels and cooking spices. We enjoyed our stay and wish we had a few more days.

A little deceiving

Pictures look much better than what it actually is. The room was not thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. Everything was very worn and used and hadn’t been kept up. We felt that for the price per night was too much for the quality of stay you get. We left and stayed somewhere else for the same price that was 10x better. The front desk manager came to look at the room before we left. She did offer to let us look at a different room but figured it would be the same way. She said the maid was coming that night and to leave the keys on the counter so we did. The next morning she called outraged that we did that and made some rude comments and hung the phone up before I could say much at all. Overall would not recommend at all.

We have been vacation renting oceanfront condos for 37 years. We actually provide up to date photos and video on all our properties. Our units are cleaned after every stay and ready for your check in. We welcome all guests to inform us of any special attention ASAP after check in as well as throughout the stay. Keep in mind these are individually owned beachfront condos not the Ritz Carlton. If you look beyond this guests post you will see our reputation is one of the best in Pacific Beach. Yes we offered to do what was needed for this guest aa well as to relocate them to another condo but they refused both options. The comments are all fabricated and untrue by this guest. They never even stay overnight. We prided ourselves in providing quality properties for every guest but some people are just different and can not be pleased. If anyone is not recommending it us to any other Vacation rental management/owner/hotel etc,,, DON'T ACCEPT PATRICK AND HIS WIFE and tell them to stay home.

College beach resort with no amenities

The property manager sent me an email that he would be in touch with me a day prior to our arrival for check in instructions. He never emailed any information regarding the room or check in after that initial email. The email said to call him if there were issues without a phone number provided. We almost missed the check in time at the property management location. I asked what we would have done had we come after 5:00pm, as the property manager didn’t respond to me when I asked nor provided after hours instructions. The desk lady had no idea what we would do. The room had a great view, but the room itself was not in good condition. There was an outlet sticking out from the wall, a blow up mattress with no pump, the hairdryer was broken, the oven light was burned out, the shower leaked and dripped constantly, the dryer on our floor was broken so we can to go up a floor back and forth to do laundry. On top of that they only provided a family of 5 one roll of toilet paper. The front desk lady said, “this is a vacation rental not a hotel, and you need to buy your own toilet paper.” That would make sense if we were renting for weeks on end but we were only staying the week. The worst part was the noise. Constant parties either on or around the property all night long. We talked to the locals and Uber drivers and they mentioned this area was known for college kids to hangout and party. The price for this property is outrageous for what you get. We would have been better off staying at luxury hotel for what they charge to stay here.

Sorry Beth for the miscommunication. It is extremely rare for us to have guest feel unsure. We have been providing quality vacation rentals at this location since 1987. We would have easily fixed the same day any and all issues you had with a simple call to our office, but you never mentioned until 10 days after you left. Yes vacation rentals do not provide daily services like hotels. We start you off with the necessities no matter if your here 3 or 30 days. Then you purchase your own when you grocery shop. The laundry was an HOA issue and has since been repaired. The building provides two washer and dryer on all 12 floors so it is not uncommon for units to need maintenance or are being used and for guests to use another floors machines to quickly get the clothes finished. The Beach is the Beach no matter where in the world you are their is always consistent activity. Try coming in early November or December for miss the crowds. A luxury hotel would cost you twice as much for the size that we provide and would not offer a full kitchen as well. Plus you would pay for parking too. Bret of luck with you next trip to a beach area.

Property was great and had an amazing view. My only complaints would be the washers and dryers were tiny and we were not able to use the stairs. The stairs were for emergency use only and you would get fined for using them.

Beach getaway

We were looking for a place to stay and thought a beachfront property would be nice. The view from this property was amazing. Relaxing and luxurious definitely would recommend. Neighbors were friendly and there’s a lot to seen in walking distance.

Wonderfull flat. Beautiful view. Great management. Hard to get a hold of staff if there were any questions or concerns. Also it may have been because we vacationed over the weekend. However I feel like there should be a direct phone number to someone in case of a urgent matter. The elevator stopped working on a Saturday night so hopefully this was just a one time occurrence. It was not fun to take 11 flight of stairs in heels. Overall everything else I would rate a five stars mostly because of the front desk receptionist at Capri accommodations she’s a sweetheart and very accommodating! Will be returning in the future.
