MODERN ELEGANCE IN A HISTORICAL MONUMENT (85 m² – 915 sq ft)

A truly unique experience. This very modern and elegant apartment within the Palais Royal is a real treat. The Palais Royal is a palace located opposite the Louvre and a few steps from Opera. A prime location in the very heart of historical Paris. Through time, it’s inhabitants include prominent figures such as Cardinal Richelieu, King Louis XIII, Louis XIV, and the Bonaparte family.

An extraordinary place to stay with its arcade view from the apartment windows overlooking the charming gardens and fountain of Palais Royal. This superb apartment has a perfect layout comprised of two bedrooms with splittable king-size and queen-size beds and two ensuite bathrooms, a large modern living room and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has been modernized to give maximum comfort and to make your stay so very elegant.

Please note that air conditioning is only for the two bedrooms. We provide a mobile air conditioning unit for the living room for the Summer. This does not replace an actual air conditioner but does help to make your stay more comfortable.

MINIMUM STAY: We do have a one week rental policy, so the weekly rate applies even for shorter stays if the apartment is available for one full week. We can only prorate the nights if the apartment is available for fewer nights between other bookings OR ACCEPT A SHORTER STAY IF REQUESTED AT THE LAST MINUTE. So don't hesitate to check with us, we usually have last minute deals where we can accept a shorter stay without applying the minimum week policy.

Important Notice

The French government has announced they will be banning all AC systems that run on water by October 1st 2025 as it is obviously a huge waste of water and we all have to act on this environmental problem the best we can.
Therefore, as nearly all of our installations are concerned with this new law, We will be stopping the use of such units (to this day they were the only systems we are able to install in old Parisian buildings.) by its legal date. In regards to our guests' comfort, we will provide portable mobile AC units, fans, and air coolers depending on the configurations of the apartment.

We loved staying here! Very roomy and a beautiful apartment and view! Very close to everything!

We would definitely stay here again and will tell everyone about it! We were sorry to leave a day early than expected but our train was cancelled as they were on strike. Loved it!!!

Great space, great location

The space is perfect for two couples with a great kitchen and dining area. The location at the royal palace is great for walking access wherever you want to go. Uber and taxis are easily accessible. For food, you won’t have to go far. Excellent Madeline neighborhood, very close to the Louvre. We loved it.

Wonderful!

Five stars for everything- amenities are perfect, location is near metro and bus plus many attractions are walkable, easy to get to from Gard du Nord. Clean and well appointed. Comfortable beds. I just want to warn people of the noise factor. The apartment sits between the street and a public courtyard. It is so beautiful but can be noisy at bed time. If you don’t use this location look for others by Paris vacations- they are great.

The perfect apartment

It is exceptionally situated. Close to so many sites, close to shops and food and transportation. The building is gorgeous, the garden is amazing, but it is very quiet in the evenings. It is very roomy, clean, and private between the two bedrooms. It also felt very secure. I loved this apartment and I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

Christmas Week in Paris

The property was beyond our hopes for amenities and access to central Paris. The location was great, in fact the property is its own destination. We had walking access to most sites, including the Louvre, Toulleries Jardin, Seine.... We had lots of walks to Marais and the Second Arrondissement. Was a fantastic trip.

AWESOME STAT!!!!

We lived this place. Very lively. Great location to all the sites. Right at the back side of the Louve. Can not wait to return. Staff was great at communicating. We were met at the apartment like planned. Only drawback I can even mention was the noise outside and above us. The second bedroom didn’t hear the noise at all. Mainly the main bedroom. We kept the bathroom door closed and that helped a lot. Thanks again....be back soon!!!

Nice Apartment in Great Location

There is not much to fault on this apartment. The only thing would be that it was VERY noisy until about 2am on 2 nights (of our 5 night stay) from (i think) the restaurant downstairs. Otherwise it was great. LOCATION, furnishing, cleanliness all very good. The management / agency also very good, very responsive / great communication (including in english). I'm very likely to book again....shame I cant book a 3 day long weekend (where presently they have 5 day minimum). Highly recommend.

Perfect apartment located in a wonderful location!

Four of us planned a Christmas in Paris trip... four plus a dog. This 2 bed 2 bath centrally located apartment served us well. The beds were comftable, the place was clean, and the overall furnishings were inviting and homey. Basically, we settled in quickly and almost immediately felt at “home” in the apartment and in the neighborhood. Our pup in particular loved it because there was a quiet garden ... we walked in the garden and met Parisian pups(and their owners) daily! It was an unexpected bonus in this very urban location. The place is well managed. We had great communications before and during our stay. We stayed during the “yellow vest” demonstrations and received updates on Saturday mornings as to where we should avoid going. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back.

Great apartment, great location!

The apartment was lovely, and worked out beautifully for three of us staying there. It's located in our favorite area of Paris, and we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the apartment, given Paris standards. The lift was an extra bonus, as we were traveling with a relative that has difficulty with stairs, another bonus! Our greeter, Pierre-Louis, was charming and helpful. A suggestion: for people staying a week, more than one bath towel per person would have been nice.

Felt Like Royalty.

Location, location, location. I can't say enough about my stay at this cozy, quiet, serene apartment. Centrally located, easy walk to anywhere. I was greeted by the manager upon arrival with such kindness and care. The amenities explained in detail. The beds were very comfortable. The apartment itself is located in an old palace, don't let the age fool you, everything has been updated. This will definitely be the place to stay when I go back to Paris, it's true what they say about the city, you'll fall in love with it, she'll captivate your heart and you'll be trying to get back to her the rest of your life.

The building this apartment is in was built in 1680. The Palais Royal is a palace located opposite the Louvre. Originally called the Palais-Cardinal, the palace was the personal residence of Cardinal Richelieu. At his death, it became the property of the King and was re-named, Palais Royal. After Louis XIII's death, it became the home of Queen Mother Anne of Austria and her young sons Louis XIV and Philippe, Duc d'Anjou along with her advisor Cardinal Mazarin. The royal families continued living in the palace until the Revolution and later was also home to the cadet branch of the Bonaparte family under the Second Empire.
