À propos de cet hébergement

Cet appartement que je viens de rénover en 2018 se trouve au cœur de Florence, dans le quartier de Santa Croce, à quelques pas des principaux sites touristiques, restaurants et bars. Les chambres sont très spacieuses. Le salon a 2 portes fenêtres sur la terrasse, une grande bibliothèque et des fauteuils confortables. Il y a un lit king size dans chaque chambre et la possibilité d'ajouter 2 lits simples.
Cet appartement a une saveur très unique. Les peintures sur les murs ont été réalisées par un célèbre artiste florentin, inspiré par le site archéologique de Pompéi et revu pour mélanger l'ancien et le nouveau. Les fresques des plafonds sont antiques. La bibliothèque dans le salon a beaucoup de livres d'art, les canapés sont très confortables et la salle est immense. 10 personnes peuvent passer à la table à manger. Il y a un bureau et des tapis confortables à l'étage.
La cuisine et les 2 salles de bains ont été entièrement refaites, avec tout le confort moderne.
La terrasse exclusive est un atout incroyable dans le centre-ville, avec les 2 portes-fenêtres du salon. Au printemps, en été et en automne, vous y habiterez la plupart du temps.

Quand je serai à Florence, je vous accueillerai personnellement et je serai disponible pour tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. L'appartement dispose de claviers avec codes, vous n'avez donc pas besoin de touches. L'enregistrement peut être fait 24 heures
Je peux vous donner de bonnes informations pour vos visites. Il y a la possibilité d'avoir un entraîneur personnel à la maison pour faire votre gymnase sur la terrasse. Je peux aussi organiser des dîners privés, faire venir un coach en diététique vous apprendre à cuisiner et à manger, vous pouvez faire du vélo comme les locaux ou réserver votre expérience de conduite sur une vespa ou un side-car vintage.

Christmas in Firenze

The Terrace was the perfect choice for our family at Christmas. I debated whether I should book a hotel or a VRBO, and this was the best choice. The living area is very comfortable and spacious. The showers were great. The beds were very comfortable. Towels were great quality. I loved having the washer/dryer and to top it off, there was a beautiful Christmas tree in the apartment. We loved the neighborhood and location. When we return to Florence, we would love to stay here again! Ciao for now!!

Fabulous in Florence!

My husband and I and our son and daughter-in-law all loved our stay in this beautiful house. The online pictures are very accurate; it really is that fun and cozy. Great high ceilings, sweet little library feeling living area, beautiful outside terrace accessible only for this apartment, excellent location for walking to all things Florence. Highly recommend!

Great stay in Florence!

This was a great space in Florence for my husband and I and another couple for our 40th wedding Anniversary trip! It was a very unique “Italian style” apartment decorated beautifully. We enjoyed reading about the history of the apartment and got a lot of great information out of Marie’s book. She was very helpful and patient with my many questions about our first trip to Italy and responded quickly. The apartment was right in the center of many restaurants and stores but on a quieter store/alley. We would love to stay there again!

Beautiful, large apartment within walking distance of all attractions

The apartment is large and beautifully decorated, and it was spotlessly clean. Our family of 5 stayed here while visiting Florence, and the location made it easy for us to walk to all of the attractions and restaurants, and this was a wonderful place to come back and relax in. The manager was very responsive and accommodating to requests. We would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely VRBO stay in Florence! We so appreciated our stay here - a beautiful apartment tucked off the main walking areas of Florence. Marie has done such lovely work with the decor and amenities, we really couldn't think of anything else we needed. The apartment is so centrally located but tucked down a quiet street. We regularly walked back to the apartment to grab something we forgot or otherwise to relax during the hot afternoons. We would highly recommend - just perfect!

A special place!

Property was one of our top stays of many done over our years of travel. Attention to detail, a Florentine, arty flair. Huge space, fabulous terrace. Everything clean, neat orderly. Marie amazing to deal with. When coming from away its nice to have that extra contact if need help, taxis, etc. Stairs into from street seem odd for likely most, but once up and the door is open it's heavenly. We cooked, enjoyed outdoor space and walked to everything we needed (minus 2 taxi to tour, then train) It felt like home. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

True Italian charm!

This property is truly unique from the library full of books to the amazing terrace. The host was quick to respond with questions. Although only two bedrooms this apartment was big enough for our two families (4 adults and two teen boys). The location is outstanding with easy access to all the sights. Would stay here again in the future.

Beautiful apartment in excellent location

The apartment is beautiful and well-appointed. The location is excellent. One minor issue is that there is insufficient lighting. Even with every light turned on the rooms are dark. It has a lot to do with the dark walls and high wooden ceiling, but overall the charm and convenient location of the place outweighed this small problem. Communication with the owner was a little tough as she was out of the country when we were there, but she ultimately addressed our questions and helped arrange a taxi back to the airport which was very helpful.

This place deserves 10 stars!

This is an incredible apartment. We loved the old world ambience, the perfect location, the imaginative decorating and the outdoor oasis. I can’t imagine finding a better place to stay in Firenze. The place was so beautiful, it was hard to leave to go sightseeing! I enjoyed reading in the living room surrounded by floor to ceiling books—so cozy! Our grown children loved the outdoor patio. Although it rained almost the whole time we were there, we still sat outside and enjoyed the garden. The lighting was magical after dark. We felt fortunate to find this gem in the heart of the city. Thank you!

Our sanctuary!

This apartment was everything advertised and more! Perfectly located in the heart of the city and offering all of the creature comforts you would need. The crowning jewel of this apartment is the lush, green garden sheltering all of the sounds of the city. It is the perfect place to enjoy an end of the day glass of wine or dinner with your group. The owner, also the manager, went above and beyond to assist us with restaurant and grocery store recommendations, ordering cabs and general support. She is a bonus! You will not be disappointed with this choice.

great location to explore Florence

The apartment was absolutely charming, with books lining the shelves making us feel at home. The greatest feature of this apartment is the hidden garden out back, steps from the living room and in the middle of sea of concrete. It is well equipped with everything we might need, esp the kitchen but we chose to eat out instead. One of the best locations to explore Florence. We were very glad to have chosen this apartment sight unseen. It turned out to be the best we could have had. The manager was helpful from the time of our arrival to departure, helping us with any and all to make our stay comfortable. When half of our family missed the train out because of number of luggage, she was right there to help us find ways to make to our destination. We are grateful and already look forward to returning. I'm French and I have been living in Florence for a very long time (almost 30 years). I travel a lot both for my work and my vacation. I've tried to create a space that I'd myself like to find when I am away from home.I want it very clean because I always walk bare feet, I want it with all the comfort because I don't like washing the dishes, I want it quiet because I am on vacation, I want it nice because my home is nice! I speak French, english, italian and learning spanish because my eldest son leaves in Colombia. I couldn't leave without my yoga and my main interest are the oriental philosophies from which I have learned a lot.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property is an incredible mix of art and history. Its location first of all is in a very historic, medieval neighborhood., very lively and 2 steps away from the main sightseeings. The building was built in 1400 and the terrace is very unusual. This property is unique and gives you the flavor of how Florence was at the time of The Renaissance .
