Wish we could have stayed longer! Booked this little gem for a 1-night stay during our adventures of driving the California to Oregon Coast. The details for the layout and fitting all the amenities into this small cabin were well thought out! We would 100% recommend and stay again if we are in the area.
Good. Very nice bed. Only negative is it seemed small for my family, and could have used more seating (couch and 2 kitchen chairs was all) though there was not enough room for more.
Absolutely lovely property. It felt as if we were secluded, but it was a short 10 minute drive to Crecent City and the parks. It was perfect for a weekend getaway!
Cute cozy spot surrounded by trees. Very close to several trail heads, and a short drive to a grocery store in Crescent City. Easy check in instructions.
WOW!! This is the place to stay if you want to take in the peace and quiet of the forest yet be close by to the activities this area has to offer. Enjoy coffee on the front porch in the morning before heading out to the sites - hiking and golfing nearby. The bed is extremely comfy and the extra blankets were appreciated.
The cabin was very clean and nice. We enjoyed our visit. It was a little hard to find but that was probably because it was dark when we got there. Since it did not have a TV it would have been nice to have a deck of cards or some board games. Maybe you could have the TVs installed with DVD players since you are waiting for cable to make it into the property. The bed was very comfortable but it was super high and hard to get into. It would have been nice to have a mirror either in the living area or the bedroom so someone could be getting ready with hair etc while another person was in the bathroom. All and All this place was GREAT. We will be back again!
I am an avid outdoor enthusiast who relishes in the natural beauty of this region. I spend most of my free time fishing, surfing and mountain biking. When I moved here almost fifteen years ago, I felt that I had discovered a place that was truly special. I strive to provide that same experience for every guest that chooses Fern Hook.
I bought this piece of raw land, with the sole intention of creating a vacation experience unique to Hiouchi. its location is centralized to conveniently experience all of the areas attractions. All the while providing private wooded settings for multiple deluxe cabins.
