Villa avec piscine, dans une rue sans issue, Puerto Banus.

Splendide terrasse à l’étage, près de la chambre principale, avec vue panoramique sur la piscine, les montagnes et les levers de soleils. La grande terrasse du rez-de-chaussée est ombragée par une grande pergola. Le grand jardin de 900 m², en pleine maturité, est privé et clôturé, ensoleillé toute la journée et un coin patio est aménagé sous les arbres pour des repas à l’extérieur. Barbecue encastré bien équipé. Près de la route, parking pour 2 voitures, et portail électrique. La piscine est de 8 m x 4 m. C’est un endroit parfait pour une famille, des golfeurs, ou pour qui recherche une retraite tranquille. C’est notre maison, que nous louons seulement pour l’été ; elle est donc mieux équipée et plus soignée que les propriétés seulement destinées à la location.

A wonderful week

There were nine of us staying at Casa Salamandra to celebrate the end of our exams. The villa had everything you could possibly need, and the pool and barbecue were especially useful. There are two supermarkets only a five minute walk away and it was an easy walk to the harbour. Marylou made everything very easy on arrival and departure, and was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here, we had a wonderful time!

Everything you need in one place!

We could not have asked for a better stay! Amaya was so helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, just a short walk up the hill from Puerto Banus marina and the beach. The pool is beautiful with plenty of Sunbeds, lots of space and children’s toys for families. A poolside BBQ and an oven inside for cooking. A tap with filtered drinking water, and all the appliances you need! Quite a few stairs and hills so maybe not for small children. Over all it was a perfect trip. Thank you so much!

The Villa was excellent value and the photos are accurate although the pool area is even better than it looks on the listing. The villa is well equipped with everything you need and the filtered water tap in the kitchen was great. The host provided inflatables for the pool which we all enjoyed. Location is good - lots of nice restaurants within 10 mins walk and Fat Mama Italian restaurant is 2 mins away and very nice. A good supermarket is 5 mins walk. The beach and harbour are about 20 mins walk away - we tended to walk there (mostly down hill) and taxi back which was only c6 Euro (more in uber but there are lots of local licensed taxis). There was a good tourist market 5 mins away on Saturday. A really enjoyable week and a special thank you to Susana who was very responsive both before and during the stay and also at check out - super friendly and helpful and also did a small shop (bread/milk/cheese/beer) for us before we arrived, which was great as we were all hungry at 10pm on the Sunday of arrival. Highly recommended for families and groups of friends - there were 8 of us and we had loads of space!

Great home for larger groups

Before check in the host (Susanna) already contacts you with details, which is great so you are prepared! Upon checking in the house was spotless. The house is much bigger than displayed on the photos and surprised us in a awesome way. The pool (salt) is 9x4 with many sunbeds, grill and seperate guesthouse with its own bedroom. There are 2 (!!) washingmachines and many amenities for the pool (inflatables) and umbrellas to take to the beach. The rooms are spacious and almost all have their own bathroom. All facilities are in the surrounding area (walkable). Supermarket is a 8 minute walk, beach is a 20 minute walk, where also is the Port of Puerto Banús with many restaurants. Nearer to the house there are also many restaurants (Fat Mama Trattoria is very nice). We stayed with a family of 9 and had a great time in the house. Would recommend and book again!

Brilliant Time!

We were a family group of eight adults & two children and we had the best time August 9 - 16 2008. The villa was as described, the pool well maintained and plenty of places to sit either in sun or shade. The air conditioning a god send in August! The basement room was equipped with loads of toys which kept the children amused, and all the bedrooms and bathrooms very clean. The beach was a bit of a trek with small children but a taxi back was only Euros6. A few good restaurants close to hand but we stayed around the villa most of the time and used the BBQ. The owner was extremely helpful and organsied our taxi transfer and all questions were answered quickly and clear instructions given. A local was to hand should there be problems. Would certainly recommend for a large group. Very quiet location away from the manic Puerto Banus centre but within walking distance for those who wanted to partake!

Hemos estado una semana muy bien. Las zonas exteriores son excelentes, una piscina con un buen tamaño y gran barbacoa. Las habitaciones están bien, pero los tamaños muy desiguales, se complica el reparto cuando van varios matrimonios, y la cocina es justa para una casa tan grande. Pero lo compensa todo cuando en pleno mes de agosto tan cerca de Puerto Banus, tienes esa tranquilidad, disfrutando de las zonas exteriores tan agradables.

Casa Salamandra July 2020

This is a great property for larger groups with plenty of space indoors and out to have fun as a group, and some great little hideaways to find some peace and quiet. The villa is well equipped and perhaps the biggest advantage is the number of bathrooms, which for our group was ideal. The property is very well managed, from booking all the way through to check out the communication and response was excellent. The property was very thoroughly cleaned prior to handover. Location is good in a quiet cul de sac but you can access all Puerto Banus has to offer within a 15-20 min walk. It comes highly recommended.

Meget bra eiendom. Bassenget oppfylte barnas behov og de koste seg mye i det. Huset med de romslige soverom og 5 bad fungerte helt utmerket til vårt reisefølge med 11 personer ( derav 4 barn) Huset var bra rengjort og alt fungerte som det skulle. Bassengpumpen røk og ble reparert samme dag. Stedet kan bare videre anbefales.

Most Excellent Extended Family Holiday!

MaryLou was our first impression of this holiday villa, as, even though we were not able to arrive until 1.00 am, she was waiting for us with a welcome smile (and welcome pack) to explain everything and hand over keys etcetera. This sums up the care and attention that has been given to this villa as a holiday home. Thank you, MaryLou. The villa is well proportioned, airy, clean and well kept. It is set in a quiet cul-de-sac within walkable distance of cafes, restaurants and food shops. Only Great- Grandma (G-G), 87 years but active, found the steepness of the hill out of the street too much of a challenge in the hottest part of the day in August. Not a problem to pop up in the Fiat. We were able to park a large people carrier and a small Fiat inside the gate. This was an excellent base for us all to split up or stay together to visit Gibraltar, Ronda, The Roman Oasis and local beaches and ports. The file in the villa is an excellent guide to suitable restaurants and venues. MaryLou popped in mid week and gave us excellent recommendations for specific things that we wanted to do. Every one of us found the bedrooms comfortable with enough choice for us to put the Aged Parents (APs) in the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a veranda; G-G in a twin room with Juliet balcony and adjoining bathroom; parents and two children in two bedrooms with a shared bathroom; and the young couple chose the cottage. The kitchen was stocked with all necessary equipment (we now intend to buy a coffee machine like this!) but we thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ area, the hammocks, the sunbeds, and the table tennis. The living room was full of comfy chairs, TV and dining area plus books, books, books - great for a little extra holiday reading. Most of all, we will remember the sunny afternoons in and around the pool where G-G could do the crossword while APs and Ps relaxed and youngsters dived, swam, jumped and lazed in the water. We don't usually return to the same place for our extended family holidays but Casa Salamandra is definitely the exception. We were asked to say how the villa could be improved and all we could think of was: stronger WiFi (not possible). And seriously, if that's all that's left for us to wish for in a holiday villa, then perhaps we should consider if we are really in holiday mode!

Dejlig rolig sted. Perfekte ude arealer.

Dejlig ferie bolig hvor det kan fungere selvom man er mange . Udlejers repesentant var meget behjælpelig hvis man havde særlige ønsker eller spørgsmål. Eneste minus var at der ikke var gjort rent i køkken skabe , og ej heller smidt gamle madvarer ud fra tideliger beboer , det var det samme på badeværelserne , der var der også gamle bade olier - sæbe og kreme i skabene.

Fresh or non-perishable food that is unused by previous tenants is deliberately left in the fridge or cupboards for the next guests, and also liquid soaps and shampoos. We may also leave fruit such as avocados, figs, oranges and pomegranates picked from the garden when available. Many guests arriving at the villa are grateful to have these extra supplies. I understand that some may prefer to buy everything themselves. Our approach has been to leave it up to the guest to decide whether to use it or throw it away. Casa Salamandra

We had a fabulous family holiday at Casa Salamandra, the children loved the pool and the adults enjoyed their ongoing table tennis tournament. The accommodation was perfect for all the family we particularly enjoyed the terrace where we ate all our al fresco meals, but we didn't enjoy the mosquitoes although they enjoyed us!! Nicely situated villa with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, etc and pleasant walk to port. We enjoyed the ferry 8 euros and 30 minutes to Marbella where food and drink is much cheaper than Puerto Banus. Marylou was very helpful when meeting us at Villa, all communication with regards to booking the accommodation was dealt with very efficiently. We would not hesitate in booking Casa Salamandra again, wonderful holiday.

Perfect for a three generational family holiday

We found the villa as expected in a great location at end of cul de sac, but convenient for access to beach and shops. Very quiet and un-overlooked.The villa was clean and well equipped, except that the beds only had one, rather thin, pillow on each bed and only 2 tea towels. We would have liked spare towels but managed by washing those we had provided. The kitchen was a little tired and in need of updating. The pool and gardens were well maintained with regular visits by staff. It worked very well that the grandparents made use of the cottage in the garden, while the rest of the family (9 people, aged 13 to 47) used the house. We all loved the garden hammocks and there was an ongoing table tennis tournament all week! We had hired 3 cars between us and did some sightseeing around the immediate area. MaryLou met us on arrival and was very helpful and efficient. I would recommended this villa to others wanting a family holiday.

Fantastic holiday.

We were 2 families with children of different ages staying at Casa Salamandra. The garden was great for younger kids who loved the play house and hammocks. The older ones could walk to and home from the night club Aqwa mist and Puerto Banus. Shopping is easy at the nearby supermarket and there are plenty of restaurants to walk to. Tranquil and beautiful surroundings with everything near at hand. We had a really relaxing holiday. Thank you!

An excellent week

Just got back from a week's stay at Casa Salamandra. It was ideally situated far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but by no means isolated - just a 10 minute walk to the town and 15 minutes to the beach. The facilities were in good working order, everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to make self-catering easy. The agent was friendly and made sure we settled in quickly, giving us a guided tour of the villa upon our arrival. I would definitely recommend a stay at Casa Salamandra to everyone.
