Un emplacement privilégié pour profiter de toute la beauté et des activités de plein air que la péninsule supérieure a à offrir. Situé sur une baie arrière du puissant lac Supérieur, cette cabane pittoresque et confortable est entourée de belles plages de sable pour profiter de longues promenades sur le rivage, se détendre pour regarder le coucher du soleil ou simplement se rassembler autour de la chaleur d'un feu de joie sur la plage. Pouvez-vous entendre les s'mores appeler votre nom? C'est parfait pour une famille avec des enfants de nager dans des eaux peu profondes pour des heures de plaisir. La baie est également parfaite pour tous ceux qui aiment le kayak, le canotage (lancement à proximité - pas de bateaux fournis), la pêche, le jet ski ou de nombreux autres sports nautiques. Sans oublier, il est proche des sentiers de randonnée, du vélo et juste des sentiers de randonnée tranquilles en pleine nature.

Cette maison de vacances `` rustique chic '' est parfaitement située à distance de route de nombreuses destinations spectaculaires du nord: Tahquamenon Falls, les écluses Soo, Bay Mills Casino & Resort, Wild Bluff Golf Course, Iroquois Light House, White Fish Point et bien d'autres. Il est également à distance de marche de deux restaurants et d'une petite épicerie pour les séjours prolongés.

Wonderful vacation

Our family stayed two weeks and it was perfect! The view and the beach are amazing. Cabin is rustic but when you are up north by that water what more do you need. It worked out amazing for our family. We would love to stay again!

UP vacation

Great location. It was centrally located to the things we wanted to do. Cabin was rustic as advertised. Some maintenance could be done, but it didn't really bother us that much. The price was reasonable for our 7 night stay. We were able to rest comfortably and the view was wonderful!

Fit our needs perfectly

We found the cottage very clean upon our arrival. There was everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location on the water is fantastic. The beach was sandy and the swimming was great. Would stay here again!

Best Family Vacation

My husband, two boys 6 and 3, senior dog 14 and I had the best week at this property. The neighbors and locals are super friendly and helpful. We had a small issue that came up at the property and they had someone out to tend to it immediately. The water was shallow and great for swimming and kayaking. Watching the freighters in the bay was so much fun. We had several fun day trips in the area too. It was the perfect week to relax and slow down. There’s a local bakery that’s fantastic and also the Yooperlite shop was fun. We can’t wait to come again.

Beautiful location

This place is not fancy by any means but it was perfect for me and my grandsons ages 8 and 10. We loved the location right on the Bay of Lake Superior. The boys could of spent the entire time in the water with their kayaks. We enjoyed watching the freighters coming and going through the locks in the Soo.

Great stay.

Cabin is just as described. Clean, great location right on Lake Superior in Brimley. Close but very nice neighbors. Wifi was sufficient for streaming and everyday phone/computer use. The place has a rustic decor, and is well used, but you get much more than what you are paying for. Owner is responsive and available. Deck, BVQ pit, charcoal grill, and steps ddown to the beach. Dogs loved it too.

Location, Location, Location

Location was perfect for my family with young children! Beach was pristine sand and water depth was shallow for a long way out which allowed for lots of swimming with our young children. We visited in early August and did not get a single bug bite, which was a pleasant surprise! Being able to see the sunset AND the sunrise was magical!

Relax and unwind

We had an amazing week! The cottage is clean and per the listing. The views are incredible! We loved sitting on the lower deck by the water watching all the ships go in and out. Very peaceful and relaxing vacation. Thank you for everything!

A dump with great views

The property and beach was awesome HOWEVER the cabin itself is a dump! Most of the outlets don’t work, the floors and bathroom are a combo of rotten wood and lots of duct tape. Big refrigerator NOT WORKING so only very small refrigerator to use.

Very nice but not perfect

Did we enjoy our stay? Yes Would we like to stay there again? Yes But the cabin may not be for everyone. Others have commented on deferred maintenance, and you may find window-coverings/windows/window locks that don't work well or at all, flaking paint on the bathroom ceiling, duct tape on the floor, or shaky railings outside. But overall, the place was clean, bright and comfortable; and it has an outstanding view on the beach in a very quiet location. It is nearby many amenities including excellent casual restaurants (with local whitefish). For us, the deficiencies became less and less notable as our stay continued. The cabin is not necessarily easy to find. It is on Shenandoah ROW (not "Ave" or "Road"), a small dirt road in a private cluster of cabins just west of the Brimley State Park. Our GPS could find it, but Google misidentifies the location.

Beautiful, relaxing Lake Superior beachfront!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property! We had long, lazy mornings with coffee on the porch, and relaxed with wine on the deck each evening watching the sunset. Great location for visiting the Soo Locks and Tahquamenon Falls. Nice little market less than a 5 minute drive and Superior Pizza was even closer and was yes- superior! This cottage was exactly as shown and described. A comfortable and charming vintage space. Our Labrador retriever was in heaven too- and swam every day. Communication with the owner was quick and helpful. We would return here in a heartbeat.

Funky, charming, fabulous view and location

This cottage is right on the water with an amazing view, in a quiet little neighborhood of dirt/sand roads. Some of the other houses are also VRBOs and others have full-time residents. Friendly and low key. Walking my dog on the beach, watching sunrises and sunsets, watching the water and weather - all were delightful experiences. The cottage itself is in need of quite a bit of repair; for example, the roof leaked during a rain storm, there are electrical extension cords all over the place and one of the bathtub faucets was faulty. So, it was a bit like camping with running water, furniture, and a space heater for amenities. But, the owner is nice and the setting is so fantastic that I will probably return.

This is a great little cabin for the money. Location was perfect! We enjoyed many activities.

Was nice and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. Could do with a few updates but you get what you pay for and we enjoyed our stay. I would go back again for sure! Thanks for renting to my family we have a fabulous time and loved it.

Beautiful View

Amazing view of Lake Superior. The other reviews are pretty accurate but none of those little things bothered us. This place was fully furnished and had everything we needed. The view is absolutely my favorite and we would stay here again in future!!

7 days away with a view

The view was perfect ! It would definitely be a place I would rent again ! All things I read in reviews were more or less true however for me they didn't cause me to not come back the sandy beach and the view ! The water the freighters .neighbors were friendly if the place were to fix all the little things people complained about the price would go up and for me that's part of the overall package .

Great view of freighters

Cabin is overpriced. When we first walked in there was so much to take in. A lot of old antique stuff, even the bed. The bed is not comfortable... old spring type. Aluminum foil in the corners of the walls in living room. Duck tape holding extension cords up on the wall in living room. One electric heater to heat the house. Was left a note to unplug when not there. Very cold in house. Temps were only in 40s and 50s during the day and 30s at night. Note left for extra blankets, we sure did need them. Insulin needles in fridge door. Everything is very outdated, in a not so good way. Shower is from 70s along with fridge. I contacted owner on where to take our trash and it took 3 days for a response, so I ended up putting the bag in their she'd. There is reasons why there is no pictures of the kitchen and bathroom. Roof leaked when it was raining in the kitchen also. Advertised you could go on beach. Stairs half attached and was left a note to use neighbors stairs. I feel funny doing something like that. Thursday night was a huge storm that knocked out electric, that is when the owner finally contacted us on where to take trash. Also tub drains extremely slow! It was nice looking at the water and freighters though!
