Casa Ivana est un appartement situé au deuxième étage de la Via Degli Aranci et accessible par un jardin-patio bien entretenu. Il est très central et à 5-10 minutes à pied du bus, de la gare routière et du train local pour Naples (via Pompéi et Herculanum).
Casa Ivana a récemment été entièrement rénové. L'appartement dispose de deux grandes chambres (une avec un lit double / lits jumeaux); une avec trois lits simples - les deux chambres sont climatisées.
Il y a deux salles de bains avec douche et une machine à laver.
La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec four, plaque de cuisson, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle et réfrigérateur-congélateur- avec accès au balcon arrière.
Le salon comprend un canapé-lit pour une couchage supplémentaire et un balcon avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes au-dessus de Sorrente.
L'appartement dispose de Wifi et il y a un ascenseur à tous les étages.

The experience, location, and property were absolutely perfect. We are a family of 5, so the sleeping arrangements, two bathrooms, and laundry machine were all assets to our stay. I would book this property again.

The apartment was spacious with beautiful views. It was perfectly located, everything was within walking distance. There was air conditioners which was very nice as well. We had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this property in Sorrento.

We ended up not staying at this actual property due to construction work but our host was able to get us an alternate location and it was fantastic. Very accommodating for us.

Good apartment in Sorrento

A nice spacious apartment in Sorrento. Suited us well as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Very good location with the centre of the town a short walk away. It is also close to the train station which offers a regular service to Pompeii and Naples.

Our apartment was beautiful and close to Piazza Tasso. Staff who met us at check-in were so friendly, offered help with a simple map, restaurant recommendations, offered to make dinner reservations and helped us to book a boat tour to Capri. They were responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. We really enjoyed Sorrento!

Wonderful experience

Nice, clean apartment close to Piazza Tasso. Had a small issue with the stove not lighting, but the management was extremely responsive. Nicolo and Santina were absolutely wonderful. Santina even made us dinner one night! This is a great place to stay.

Handy location in Sorrento

The apartment is located in close proximity to the main downtown area (2 minute walk) and along a main road where coffee shops are plentiful. There is an elevator to assist with taking baggage upstairs and air conditioning in the unit. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay and not interested in the view or luxury amenities, this apartment is perfect.

Great location.

We were changed to this unit because the one we booked was still having repairs completed. The change was seemless on our end. My group loved being met upon arrival and appreciated the help with the suitcases (it was a spiral staircase). It was only a 7 minute walk to town (easier going to than back - but hey, the hills of Sorrento are part of the experience). We would stay again.

Better than expected!

Our original VRBO Casa Ivana was changed due to issues with the property, however we were taken care of and put in another unit on Corso Italia! It was absolutely beautiful !!!! The view from the balcony was beyond amazing ! The 5 stars are for the property we stayed at. Unfortunately I can’t rate Casa Ivana, but I will say that our host Davide was amazing and I highly recommend him. Grazie Mille

Spacious Quaint Flat

The flat in Sorrento was quite spacious. With five adults, we had plenty of room to spread out. The location is off the main strip, which we liked because it was a little less busy and loud. I was 6 months pregnant and could easily make the walk to the town proper and all the attractions. Wifi was available, but not too strong, so we didn't have service in the second bedroom. A/C units worked wonderfully! Showers were satisfactory... even with a baby belly to maneuver around. Absolutely ask about the local restaurants the recommend. We went to three of the locations and they were absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if we go back.

Half-truth

The location of the rental was convenient, the apartment itself was adequate, and it was nice to have a working washing machine. However, the online photos were not exactly accurate. The balcony view was obstructed by construction scaffolding. It was obvious the building was undergoing maintenance during our stay. We were not informed of this prior to our arrival. It would have been a courtesy to allow us the option to choose another rental. The hot water heater was not operating properly. And the kitchen appliances were not cleaned well from prior renters. I would recommend this rental only after the building maintenance was completed.

It worked

First let me say the house was very clean and safe, this is most important. Although it turned out fine, I find the check in/out process strange. It is listed under 'Davide', but another person contacts you on Whatsapp. Turns out it is just a big company that hires these ladies to be your contact. I rather just be upfront about it instead of the setup. It makes it seem sketchy. They have to meet you to check in and out. I like to be able to leave when I want, not have to wait for them to come and meet me to take the key. When I am on vacation and we are busy, I don't want to have to continuously communicate with the rental agency person. Toilet paper was a bit short, luckily we had brought some ourselves. Also, we were a towel short and I had to prove to her it wasn't there.

Nice flat

A nice and spacious flat. Very central but still not in the middle of all the shops and hotels. Close to grocery store just 15 min walk away. Unfortunately they were working on the building so the entrance were not nice but we didn’t notice this whilst in the flat. I thought there would be a private parking space but it wasn’t. We could park in a nearby parking area that we had to pay fore ( although you don’t need a car in Sorrento, there are a train everywhere you want to go.) The biggest complaint I have is the cleaning though. The toilet wasn’t clean at all and there were dirty plates and glasses in the cupboard in the kitchen. There was a book on the table with information about train time tables and so forth but that information was from 2015 or even earlier.

Taya, the host was remarkable. She made our stay special and helped us with many extra items. 5 stars for Taya!!!!The apartment itself, is in an amazing central location. Super walkable. We were very disappointed in the actual accommodations. The price point for the experience seemed unbalanced. It’s an old building and we should have set our expectations for that.
