Perfect stay in amazing location

We have just returned from a short stay at Alessandro's beautiful apartment.The property is perfectly located at a comfortable walking distance for all must see attractions in central Rome, and only a few minutes' stroll from Castel Sant'Angelo.We found everything we needed for a few nights away, and Alessandro was extremely helpful and easily contactable for any questions we had.Thank you Alessandro.. a fantastic apartment and a fantastic host. Location, location

Had a fabulous stay in the heart of the action. The apartment was steps away from shops, restaurants and sites. The apartment itself was roomy enough for a couple and adult child. The main floor has a table, chairs and kitchen.There is a set of narrow and winding stairs to get up to the bedrooms and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom updated and modern. The twin bedroom is through the bathroom and does not have a door to close off. Alessandro was a great host. He answered all questions before and during our stay. Would definitely chose to stay again when in Rome!

2 days in Rome, you need a good location and this couldn’t be beat! 15 minutes to the Vatican, 25 to the Coliseum!

Rome Apartment

Alessandro's apartment is right in the centre of all the attractions in Rome. All are within walking distance. The apartment is clean and tidy and has all the amenities you could need. Alessandro is super helpful and has his office just around the corner so is always available to help.

Rome adventure

This place was absolutely perfect! You can’t beat the location. Everything you want to see is within walking distance. We walked to the Vatican, Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain, Pantheon…. Now - the apartment… ideal, adorable, very clean, there was even a little welcome basket of chips and crackers. Not noisy, friendly neighbors, excellent area to walk around the meandering streets, we felt VERY safe! Alessandro was communicative, he reached out the day before with clear, simple instructions for check in. We would not hesitate to book his place again. Out of all the neighborhoods we walked around during our stay, we favored his by far.

Perfect location and great place

We love this part of Rome and appreciated that this was at the quieter end of the street. Our host was very responsive and the guidebook was very helpful. It isn’t a large place but it looks just like the photos and was spotless. We would definitely stay here again but probably best for a very small group.

Fantastic Rome

The property was amazing and the location was excellent. The apartment had everything we needed in it, with a comfortable bed and nice shower. There were plenty of places to eat for breakfast, although there was a well stocked kitchen if you prefer to eat in. You could reach almost all of the attractions within a 20 minute walk. There were plenty of restaurants and bars close by, and they were reasonably priced. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Good location for everything.

Really good location for a city bolt hole. Everything within a maximum of a pleasant 25 minute walk. Host organised our airport transfer which was good. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great weekend.

A Wonderful Rome Getaway!

The property is beautiful! There are stairs but not too bad. Alessandro was very helpful in everything. Within walking distance to Tiber River, Coliseum, Roman Forum. Would definitely stay here again!

First trip to Rome

Excellent accommodation for our first trip to Rome. The location was great, we were able to walk to the vast majority of the many ‘must see’ places in the city. Alessandro was extremely helpful and communicated well both prior and during our trip. Thank you. He gave very tips for restaurants which served authentic food ‘where the locals’ ate. We’ll be back!

Stay in Roma

Great location but it was very loud till late into the evening and also was very warm in the place. The bathroom is in an odd location because the second small bedroom is behind the bathroom and to get out you have to go through the bathroom. Rome was great and everything was within walking distance of the place.

A few days in Rome

This apartment was as it was listed and very convenient to major sites in Rome. Conveniently located between the Vatican and Coliseum. Both are within walking distance as well as Trestavere, Treve Fountain and other major Rome sites. The apartment is located on a nice small street. The host, Alessandro, is very helpful, attentive, and runs a luggage storage business a couple of blocks away from the apartment. We would highly recommend this apartment as a home base to explore Rome.

Great location, friendly host

Alessandro was an excellent host. Very helpful, arranged a very nice private driver to get us to the airport after our trip. The apartment is small, food for one couple plus one. Narrow stairs to get up to the bedrooms. The small bedroom is accessed through the only bathroom. And while we know air conditioning isn’t always common, this apartment doesn’t have it and it gets sticky in warm humid weather. But, great location makes all the important sites very walkable (if you don’t have mobility issues). If you struggle with stairs and also getting your luggage hauled up stairs, then this apartment isn’t for you.

Perfect Location in Roma

We had a wonderful 4-day stay in Alessandro's Centro Storico apartment. The flat had a perfectly useful kitchenette and a nice bathroom. The apartment was recently remodeled, so it was nice and clean, yet had the charm of a 500 year-old building, including the main beam in the ceiling that actually dates from that time. The flat was small, being in the the heart of Rome, but it was big enough for everything we needed. I would not plan on cooking much here, both because the stove is small and (more importantly) there are some fantastic restaurants right on your doorstep. Similarly, almost every site in Rome is within walking distance. We explored the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Forum, the Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, and many other places, all starting here on foot. The only places we took a taxi were because of early tour times (The Colosseum) or time crunches in our schedule (Spanish Steps). The beds are fine, though nothing great, but you're not at home. The linens were fair, though they could be more soft/comfortable. The shower has very little water pressure, but it does work, and that's probably something to do with the pipes, rather than the shower itself. None of these things were significant to us in the overall scheme of things. Alessandro met us very quickly when we arrived, showed us everything, and also had a fantastic recommendations book with descriptions of the best restaurants, bakeries, gelaterias, and other useful places. I had planned every dinner on our trip, but changed one of them based on his recommendation, and while we were there Alessandro came in with some of his friends. So he clearly is giving you his best places, and that turned out to be one of our favorite dinners in Italy. If you want a cozy apartment with a very helpful host and an unbeatable location, look no further. Just please don't book it when we next are able to be in Rome.
