Dans le quartier de Station de sports d'hiver Peak 8, cet appartement condo se trouve Ă moins de 5 minutes de marche de Blue River et Main Street.Station de ski de Breckenridge est Ă 0,5 km de distance.
Very nice & clean condo on the 2nd floor with elevator nearby, walking distance to the gondola and main str, spacious bathrooms, parking under the building.
The only thing wrong was in the master bedroom was an open toilet. No bathroom, no privacy. The toilet is in the open, not in a room where you can shut a door. That sucked!
Have owned family units for years & occasionally rent as family availability requires. This condo is great. It's clear the owners love this condo & it is not just a "rental" they leave for someone else to manage. It's well stocked & appointed to provide everything you would need. The bathrooms are HUGE! Especially the master & double shower! 2nd bathroom had plenty of space for 2 teen girls to share comfortably. Family room is spacious & seating comfortable as were the beds. Kitchen is clean & had spices and any cooking pan/utensil you could need. Tons of dishes so you weren't running the dishwasher a lot. Lg table seats 8 so space to spread out. Entryway hooks for skis, coats and bench make entry and ski return so easy. Covered parking available on first come first serve was great when it snowed. Less than 5 min walk to gondola, bus or ski in from 4 o'clock. 1 block from town. I would have given this 5 stars except that as this is a 1st floor unit we had an issue with the unit above. It was being renovated & the first 2 nights there was construction going on until 3am! At 1 point we heard a crash up there that rattled the wine glasses and left all the wall art crooked. Called Denise at Summit Vacations & she was WONDERFUL- contacted property owner and was quiet for next 3 nights...but our last night he returned. It is not the fault of this owner that neighbor violated Breck const hours, but didn't sleep and don't know how quiet it is on a regular night.
The check in instructions were pretty vague, there are 2 condo places side by side and the check in instructions didn't specify exactly which complex to go to. The contact number we called wasn't able to specify which comolex to go too. We tried both and the first one we tried was wrong. However,
the second place we went too used the code we were sent. the parking pass wasn't in the unit when we arrived. There was a large void where the wood floor met the tile floor in the kitchen/dining area, like it was left unfinished, probably 8 foot long and 2 inch wide by 1 inch deep gap that was a bit of a trip hazard and an eye sore. We couldnt figure out the showers in main bath right away and the property Manger we called didn't offer much help besides referring us to someone else. Eventually we got in touch (4+ hours) after we first called the listed numbers for some assistance. There were signs all around the parking area warning of being towed with a pass, but no instructions on how to get the pass, so since the pass wasn't left for us, we were a but nervous about being towed. The layout of the place was odd, but we made it work. The master bath toilet could be seen from the bed. There was a curtain that went around the toilet but it just wasn't very private. The double shower in the master bath is nice, but again it's connected directly to the master bedroom with no wall so you kind if shower in view of the bed. I guess that can be nice, unless someone is wanting to sleep while someone else is using the shower.
The second bedroom was fine, the second bathroom was fine, the kitchen was fine. All the tv units were small and dated, but not a huge a deal. The shared hot tub was clean, but was only big enough for about 3/4 couples at a time, and was usually full so we didn't spend much time in it. Just about 10 minutes the whole trip. The best feature was the easy 5 minute walk to the main street of breck and to the gondola. Getting to and from the mountain was really nice, no additional parking fees, easy walk. The view we had was of the parking lot, but we didn't spend any time on the balcony. The kitchen was furnished pretty well, we did a lot of cooking there. The internet was good, which the kids mainly used in the evenings, and the elevator made move in/out easy.
Overall, I'd give this place a high 3 or low 4 all things considered.
Breckenridge is beautiful but we probably would stay elsewhere in the future
Breckenridge is beautiful but we probably would stay elsewhere in the future. It started off by exactly what the review said the place is super hard to find I made a telephone call to try to get help the after hours answering service said that they would have the property manager get back to me right away and if we wouldâve waited for them to get back to us we would still not be in our place. Nobody bothered to contact us we wandered around until we found where we were supposed to be. The place itself was clean it was in a good spot it was advertised as a ski in ski out iâm not sure thatâs accurate since you do have to walk about three or four blocks to get to a gondola. We had issues with the water in the shower, we had issues with the fireplace and each time I called the after hours answering service I got no help. The answering service people were super friendly there just was no follow up from the property manager ever. I asked a question about the hot tub as the sign on it appeared that it may be usable but I never got an answer on that either. Then the worst thing of all is the people upstairs from us were loud all night long there is no insulation between the floor and the ceiling so we could hear them walking across the floor jumping across the floor running furniture across the floor whatever it is they were doing every night after we went to bed. Neither one of us slept most of the time that we were there. Like I said we will definitely be back to Breckenridge but we will find A different place to stay next time
One day prior to check-in, a message was sent regarding check-in process. A passcode was sent for the lock, however no building name or unit was provided. We had to call 4 times to try to get correct building information. And my family had to try to navigate our young children in the middle of the night thru multiple buildings. In the end, we were able to get into the unit. The space was freezing. The heat was off. There was no internet or cable. It took over 24 hours to get wifi and cable...which would intermittently go out. The glass/mirror closet door in the guest bedroom was off the track. This was a major safety issue, because it could fall on my children. When a rep from Summit Vacationa came to fix the door, my husband had to give him the building name. This property was poorly managed, and is a 2.5-3 star for the condition. Also, the bedding is cheap and would pop off the mattress. The only plus was the location.
Nice place, very comfortable. Only minor issues. Great location!!!
Thermostats were hard to control. No temp readings, only low-medium-high.
Sheets in master did not fit bed and kept popping off. Toilet in master ran all the time.
Needed a guide for tv.
Great location! Very convenient to gondola and downtown. Mostly nicely furnished with some new touches. Very open floor plan, especially the master suite, which lacks privacy between bedroom and bathroom. Would sleep 5 fine. Didnât love that the twin bunk beds were removed and changed to a queen between booking and our stay, but we had notice of it. Great value overall.
We didnât like the unit. The toilets are small and my boys mostly my husband said they were not normal size!! The bed sheets are horrible quality for a high end rental and they kept coming off bed and comfortores are not nice. No sofa bed. Not enough shakmpoo, soap etc. we ran out after 4 days. It just wasnât very accommodating like we are used too. We usually feel very welcome with extra supplies.
Nice place with a great location. Really sleeps 5.
Our only disappointment with the place was that the ad stated it could sleep 7 and with the updates that were done, it only slept 5. Roman with VRBO acted quickly to get my family a cot to make up for the limited sleeping space. Itâs a nice property within walking distance to downtown and the gondola!
