2 BR, 2 BA Condo – Ski-In – Walk To Gondola – Sleeps 8!

How does this sound: Walk across the street to hop on the Gondola and at the end of your ski day, ski right to the complex, store your skis and head to your condo! No matter what season, you’ll have incredible access to hiking, mountain biking and snowshoeing trails as well as all the shopping and dining on Main Street Breck. This is a great mountain condo; your family and friend will love it!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo works perfectly for up to eight guests. The living area features a stone gas fireplace, and there’s a large flat-screen TV for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. Right off the living room is the balcony — perfect for enjoying the fall colors and crisp mountain air. Stainless-steel appliances and large granite counters in the full kitchen provide plenty of space to whip up great mountain meals and après-ski snacks. There’s seating for six at the dining table and four more at the counter.

You’ll enjoy access to the shared hot tub and pool, as well as an onsite gym. You’ll also enjoy full access to the pool, hot tubs, spa and bowling alley at One Ski Hill Place Resort, located at the top of the gondola. Other amenities include a washer and dryer, shuttle service, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Plus, all Summit Mountain Rentals properties are professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival and are stocked with hotel-like toiletries and linens. Our helpful staff is also available 24/7 should you need anything.

LOCATION – Walk to town and ski to your door, you cannot beat this location in Breckenridge! Mountain Thunder Lodge sits off Park Ave. within walking distance to the Breckenridge Station Gondola and Main St (about 0.3 miles/three blocks). Just outside of the complex is the Skyway-Skiway Run that allows skiers to ski home at the end of the day. A complimentary resort shuttle is also available to take guests to the mountain or anywhere in town.

MOUNTAIN THUNDER RESORT AMENITIES – The elegant yet rustic grand lobby of Mountain Thunder Lodge features a beautifully decorated sitting area that with log accents, slate floors, plush furniture and a fireplace. It also features a fitness center, complimentary shuttle, conference/business space, common area outdoor pool & hot tub area with gas grills and a children’s play area.

ONE SKI HILL PLACE RESORT AMENITIES – Being a guest of Mountain Thunder Lodge also gives you access to One Ski Hill Place Resort located at the base of Peak 8. Amenities include two pools, indoor hot tub, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam room, bowling alley, movie lounges, game room, fitness center, rejuvenation center, restaurants, ski school and a complimentary resort shuttle.

Great location in town, walkable to gondola, main street, hiking trails. Pool and hot tub right out the back door. Second bedroom a little tight for 3 teenagers, but was manageable for our short stay. Highly recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this condo last minute after another reservation was canceled and we kept saying we were so glad that happened. The location cannot be beat! The easiest walk to the gondola and town. The condo is also much more spacious than we anticipated. Everything was provided for us and a hassle free check in/check out. We will absolutely be booking with Summit again!

Nice Place, but tight

The unit was nice, but wish the ski lockers were all in building 1, as the walk back and forth could be a little daunting. The shuttle service was great, and made getting to the mountain easy. The second bedroom was CRAMPED!!! It was difficult to move around in the room and we only had 2 staying in it. Need to come up with better sleeping arrangements in that space, as what is there, doesn’t really work. Overall, we had a nice stay and the location was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was in a great location, short walk to gondola and ski in to end the day. Our only issues were the spare bedroom is not big enough for 4 adults. The single twin bed frame rocked back and forth and the bunk beds squeaked every time someone turned over. Other than that our stay was great.

Excellent location

Overall the condo was great! Comfy beds, spacious, clean and great location. My only warning is the internet was not great for zoom meetings at work. Fine for email though. We will be back!

Summer Girls Trip

Visited Breckenridge with a couple of friends. This location was perfect for walking to the Main Street to grab coffee, shop or find a spot to eat. Beautiful clean pool and hot tubs. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The flat is comfortable and roomy. Kids loved the games and bunk room and it’s nice there are TVs in all 3 main rooms. Kitchen was stocked adequately, if not lavishly. Main issue was it was June and needed to open windows. Unit is right next to building exhaust which whistles almost constantly making it hard to sleep. Perhaps it needs attention? Not sure. Not the owners fault but gondola and list of peak 8 play areas were closed. Opens July 1 mostly. Something to know if that’s important.

Overall great property and location. The only thing I would change would be having to go to the “office” to obtain and drop off keys. I’m not sure why obtaining keys cannot be accomplished another way.

Another Fantastic Ski Experience

This is the second time we've stayed in this unit and it certainly did not disappoint! The unit itself is perfect for our family of 5, with all the amenities and high-end finishes that provide a home-like feel. The kitchen is well-appointed, the family room and eating area are inviting and cozy, the beds are comfortable, and the two full baths are a great bonus. The check-in process was seamless and the communication from the staff was outstanding. The location is one of the best parts - so easy to walk into town to restaurants, shopping, groceries, etc. The ski experience is just as convenient. 5 minute walk to the free gondola, ski back to the unit. We've stayed on the mountain, which is great for ski in/ski out but then we had to find a way into town for the complete Breck experience. This unit's location is better. We'll be back!

Spring Break

As a family of 4 with 2 children ages 9 and 12, we found this specific condo amazing! The bunk beds were a huge win for my kids and the collection of board games had my son obsessed and wanting to play all the time!! The staff communicated so well too and were friendly!! Would definitely stay again!

Great price for location

Ski out is a short walk under the road to the Gondola. Ski in is 100 feet from the unit. Room was updated, clean, and spacious. We would stay in this unit again.

Gorgeous and cozy Suite!

We had a great stay in this Suite. The size is perfect, it feels very cozy and all the furniture and decoration is adorable. What we enjoyed the most was the super comfy bed and having our coffee in the porch. Lots of amenities and a well stocked kitchenette. We will certainly be back!
