The drain smell has now been resolved, and the heating issue has been fixed. I have also added an extra portable heater to the apartment to provide additional warmth during the colder months.

Hi Sherry, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that when you initially contacted us regarding the shower, we responded within approximately 15 minutes and provided the operating instructions. We then received no further communication regarding an ongoing issue until 24 hours later, at 10:52pm on the night before check-out. We also provide a WhatsApp number as an alternative contact, but received no communication there either. Regarding the entry door, you contacted us about this during your stay and we responded to your concerns. The property has an exterior security camera at the entrance, and the door chain is provided as an additional security measure. Our check-in instructions also explain that the handle needs to be lifted to engage the lock. The other issues mentioned in your review were not raised during your stay. We are therefore disappointed to learn about them only afterwards, as we would have welcomed the opportunity to investigate and resolve any problems while you were at the property. For the safety and privacy of our guests, contractors cannot be sent to an occupied property without communicating with the guest and arranging authorised access. We are particularly disappointed by the description of our communication as “gaslighting”. We responded promptly to your initial message and remained available to assist, but without further communication we had no indication that the issue remained unresolved. We will investigate the additional points raised and take any necessary action. We appreciate your positive comments regarding our location and affordability.
