The House on Park Blvd was the perfect spot for our Joshua Tree National Park long weekend. Why stay in a chain hotel when you can have your own private home-away-from-home for practically the same price? It was the perfect size for our party of three (parents and adult daughter). After a day in the park and a delicious meal in town we relaxed watching Netflix and played cards at the table. The house is located on the road that leads to the park entrance. The visitor center is also on the same road just a few blocks away. The property is very clean and basic amenities were provided, which is not always the case with rentals. Since the park is so close we drove back in at night to stargaze before heading to bed. I would recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I ever venture back to Joshua Tree.
My family and I live in San Diego and visit Joshua Tree at least once a year. We've stayed in a few vacation rentals and motels in the area and this property has been by far our favorite. It's close to town and the park entrance, very clean, beautifully decorated, and communication with Patricia was very easy. We'll be back!
This little house was perfectly clean, had everything we would have needed or wanted. I loved all the attention to small detail. It didnât go un noticed.
Close to the monument entrance, obviously, so not a remote desert escape, but close to all the shopping, dining and hiking JT has to offer! Saw lots of wild life in the yard, many birds, rabbits and chipmunks.
I'm Patty and I grew up in Southern California, moving to the desert to raise a family in the almost always sunny high desert. I recently moved to Oregon to be near family and wanted to share my Joshua Tree home with others. Rachel, a local desert friend is available to assist you during your stay.
I appreciate the clear blue daytime sky in Joshua Tree and the unobstructed moon views at night. Watching rabbits at dawn and dusk is a favorite pastime.
