Beautiful place. Lots of character, and very peaceful surroundings. Nicely tucked away, youâre guarantee privacy and a relaxing break here. Would definately come back again when in the area. The host was brilliant, very accommodating and easy to get hold of from booking to checking out.

Lovely barn conversion
The Barn is beautifully converted to a comfortable dwelling.
It was very clean and well equipped. The grounds back and front were well kept and delightful. The hosts were lovely and tried to be helpful. There was a snag that we were not aware of beforehand and that was there was no mobile phone connection in the barn or its grounds at all. upon arrival we were also informed by the host that the internet was down but it should be working again in a few days. This also included the landline phone. For the ten days we were at the property we had no connection to the outside world at all. We felt extremely cut off, could not plan our itinery each day, check google maps to find our way around the area, check the weather forecast, or get in touch with family or even VRBO. We had to drive out a few miles from the property to pick up some connection. If there would have been any type of emergency what would we have done? Had we known in advance of these potential problems we would not have booked it. The ÂŁ30 per day compensation didn't really cut it at all.
We had the most peaceful and lovely stay.
Accommodation was perfect and all gardens were beautiful. Very secluded and off the beaten path.
Access to the property is by a very narrow single track road for about a 10 min drive. This wasnt ideal but the Accommodation made it all worth it.
I grew up in Devon and my family have lived in the same house for forty years so I have good knowledge of the area and things to see and do. We have run our business for the last ten years and have enjoyed welcoming guests worldwide.
It is a great place to enjoy the outdoors with Dartmoor and the South Devon coastline being a short drive away. It is also accessible to the A38 providing an accessible route to the cities of Exeter and Plymouth and surrounding towns of Ashburton, Buckfastleigh, Newton Abbot and Totnes.
We completed the renovation of the barn in 2010 and we have retained many of the original features to maintain the rustic feel. It is in the heart of the Devon countryside so it is ideal for connecting with nature, enjoying the dark skies on a clear night and getting away from the hustle and bustle.
