Great for the price

Place was clean, great location. Host was easy to deal with. Unit was a little older/dated which was fine but still very nice and clean. For the price it exceeded expectations.

Perfect location

The unit is a two minute walk to the beach. The staff were all friendly and answered all our questions. The unit has all the amenities needed. We'll definitely consider returning on our next trip.

Week in Kihei

Easy check in process. In a great part of Kihei, lots within a short walking distance. Property managers were also great to work with when I needed to extend my stay.

Great stay at a great price!

We had a really nice stay here. Very comfortable, quiet, safe and centrally located. The condo was equipped for basic needs. Very easy check-in. Always had a parking space nearby. Great communication with management. Will be happy to return!

Great budget condo

We love Maui Vista and have stayed in a few different units there. This one was advertised as a "budget" unit with no frills, but had everything we needed for a great trip. We liked the location in building 1 as it's closest to the beach. These beds were comfy and everything was stocked for a successful stay. Would stay here again!

Clean, affordable and perfect location!

The property is as described, just enough amenities for a comfortable stay and the location really is great. Plenty of linens, pillows and some cleaning supplies were helpful to have when we arrived. We were able to easily walk to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants and parks even with a toddler. The community is also very friendly. I will say there isn't much sound proofing in the condos but that is more an issue because our son is an early to sleep, early to rise kind of kid. We would definitely stay again because the price and location makes it totally worth it. Also at the time of booking, there was some beach gear which also came in handy!

Aside from a couple of minor cleaning issues the place was pretty much as described. What was most notable about our stay was the speedy response of AA Oceanfront, the property managers, to correct the cleaning issues and get the landline operating. This also affected the cable TV which also could then function. The support from AA Oceanfront cannot be overstated. There was also a generous supply of toilet paper and dishwasher tabs.

Great Value in Kihei

We had a great stay at the Maui Vista in this property. Overall it was a great value. We were looking for a place in Kihei after spending a week in Kaanapali and this was nearly half the price. We were meeting up with friends and were looking for a centrally located place off So. Kihei Road. For us a separate bedroom was a must. The property is located in the front of the complex and parking was always easy to find. Last year we stayed in a studio in Kihei and hated it.Only two small negatives - we definitely prefer a king size bed and there is room in the bedroom for one. And the living room carpet is a little tired. :)Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay there again at this great price.

Adequate

Be warned that this is an adequate but not perfect property. Clean enough but stocked and furnished cheaply. There are other neighboring condos that are much nicer and actually cheaper but this was all that was left. Comfortable. Reminded me of college apartment days. Leasing agency: fix the broken and hanging bulb in the bathroom. It is very tacky.

Great affordable unit close to beach

We stayed in this unit for 4 weeks starting in mid Feb. and it was pretty much as it was shown in the pictures. If you are looking for an affordable condo in a good location, this unit is a great choice. The Maui Vista complex is right in the heart of Kihei! It has tennis and pickleball courts as well as 3 pools. We played pickleball quite often and had a lot of fun. We didn't use the pool very much since it was pretty small and we preferred to go to the beach instead which was just across the street. There are a few really nice beaches within walking distance as well as restaurants and shops. We didn't even rent a car until late in the trip because there was so much close by. There is also a Maui Bus stop close to the Maui Vista that goes all over the island. The property managers were great to work with. They made check in and check out very easy. Overall, the unit is not luxurious but it is comfortable and I highly recommend it.

Very Convenient Location

The location of this condo is perfect for going to the beach and getting around Kihei. The property managers, AA Oceanfront Rentals, were very attentive, courteous, and helpful. I would highly recommend them as they did their job well. This condo was listed as “budget” because it was basic. However, the reason I booked this condo was because the cleanliness rating in the reviews was the highest I had found of all the condos that I looked at — even the much higher priced ones. But the cleanliness of the condo needs the owner’s attention. I don’t think it’s much fault of the cleaning staff as they have limited time and resources for the items that need to be corrected. The curtains need to be replaced — they were filthy. Walls need to be scrubbed and painted, carpet was stained, furniture other than the bed need to be replaced. A little investment and TLC will have this condo in ship shape.

Great location

This little condo has been a perfect spot for us. Very centrally located to cafes, restaurants, shopping and a stunning beach. We didn’t time it but the walk is less than 5 minutes to the beach. It’s older but very clean. There’s some road noise which we are probably more sensitive to as we live in the sticks. We used the money we saved to rent a Slingshot from MauiKarts and did the road to Hana in it and definitely ate out a lot! Speaking of which buy a package of Costco ribeyes and use the grill. The meals we enjoyed the most were the ones cooked here and eaten on the lanai. Hawaii has some of the best beef we’ve eaten. The only negative about our stay was the beach umbrella needs replaced. For the money it was great!

Better than advertised. Dated appliances/decor, great location.

Washer/dryer were great. Comfortable queen bed. Turn living room A/C to max at night and turn on bedroom fan to keep cool while sleeping. Beach chairs were very helpful.
