Ferme historique du comté historique

Ferme récemment rénovée de 2000 pieds carrés avec trois porches et des meubles anciens. Des étagères pleines de livres et de jeux, un grill extérieur et des vélos sont disponibles. La route de campagne pavée menant à la maison est un endroit idéal pour faire du vélo. La beauté du lac Cordell Hull est à distance de marche.

La ferme a été occupée à la fin des années 1890 et au début des années 1900 par John et Mary Catherine Tittle, mes arrière-grands-parents et Louisa Tittle, ma grand-mère et ses douze frères et soeurs. La maison Tittle apporte un temps plus simple et paisible en conservant son charme original tout en incorporant tout le confort moderne. Il donne aux générations actuelles et futures un contact vivant avec l'héritage du passé de ce pays. Peu de livres d'histoire racontent l'histoire du passé de l'Amérique aussi clairement que la FERME.

C'est un parfait cinq minutes de Granville historique, Tennessee et 65 miles à l'est de Nashville, Tennessee (MUSIC CITY, USA) ..

Beautiful property!

I can’t say enough about this restored farmhouse, just beautiful, very clean, and so quiet and private. This owner has a precious jewel of a property. We visited Granville for Mayberry Days and had a blast. We want to come back to this home at another time though when we can sit on the porches all day and soak in God’s creation - LOVED it!

Cousin week

We got all the living and sane cousins together for a family reunion. Spent two days on the porch just talking and laughing. Very comfortable for a group of old kids in the farm atmosphere. I picked the house and the other 9 though I was a genius!

Wonderful!

It was great! The farmhouse was in perfect shape, comfortable, and clean with lots of porches. The property was wonderful, it had a huge lawn, barns and a creek up at the front great for kids to explore. It's an exceptional country farm just minutes from the charming community of Granville, the marina, and all the lake has to offer. Thanks Cecilia, I'm looking forward to visiting again soon.

Historic Granville home

This was my second visit to the Tittle home, my husbands first. This is a beautiful home, decorated with antiques and memorabilia in a private, peaceful setting. We enjoyed a walk each evening down the lane & watched the fireflies from the front porch rocking chairs at night. Wildwood Marina has a great restaurant and make sure you visit the town of Granville, both are within a few miles. My husband has already said he wants to come back.

Friend reunion

We are 3 married couple who became friends in college. We live in different states & try to meet up for a long weekend every fall. We are in our 70s and have been doing this for about 20 years. The restored farmhouse is charming, full of antiques & reminds one of grandma's house. The area is scenic and peaceful. We enjoyed the covered porches with rocking chairs as well as an evening bonfire. The community fall festival & a local restaurant were part of a great stay.

Wonderful history

This was a great place for us to stay for a wedding. It is not small hold friendly because of the antiques but it has a wonderful outdoor yard for play. There is no cell service at all so plan ahead if you need to communicate with others. Sorry we didn’t get to visit the town of Granville (maybe next time). We loved the peace and quiet. This would be a wonderful place for a family reunion or a group retreat. CeCe was awesome and very helpful and provided everything we need. Thanks so much for everything.

Wonderful sisters retreat

The property is even better than the listing makes it seem. The house was full of antiques and family history. Everywhere you looked there was something interesting to investigate! The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils and some spices. The grill outside was wonderful as well. CC was absolutely wonderful to deal with. We had trouble getting the air conditioning to work correctly, contacted her on a Sunday night and she had someone out there to look at it the next morning. If you love peace and quiet with some bunnies, cows and deer roaming through the huge, perfectly manicured yard, then this will be heaven on Earth for you as it was for us.

Beautiful farmhouse on gorgeous land

This home is gorgeous inside and out and the surrounding land is amazing and so peaceful! We loved sitting on all of the porches and relaxing! We didn’t have cell service there (AT&T or Verizon), but that is very common in that area. The WiFi connection at the house was fantastic and we were able to make and receive calls, stream video, etc. without any problems. A couple of things to note that are not bad things, but just things to be aware of… 1) some of the outdoor steps to the house are very steep and the stairs inside the house are also fairly steep. It wasn’t an issue for us, but could be difficult for people with mobility issues. 2) I can’t remember if it was in the listing description or not, but the outdoor porches do have security cameras on them. It didn’t bother us, but I always like to know about cameras ahead of time. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would definitely come back!

Came back again!

This is our second year at the farm and it continues to be our favorite place to go. Everything was wonderful from the hand made quilts on each bed to the antiques and family photos in every room. Sitting out on the porch at night was our favorite activity. You can hear the night sounds, but rarely a car or other human noise. Watching for the cows leaving the barn in the morning was also a favorite thing to do as we so enjoy seeing the calves! If you're like us and love the quiet country life, this is the place you want to be!

The Tittle house is the perfect Tennessee country farmhouse, located in beautiful, rural Jackson County, Tennessee. Updated, the family thought of everything, but at the same time, a wonderfully restored farmhouse. I can't wait to return. Thanks so much!

Beautiful historic home

We rented the home for a mini family reunion with a couple of my Cousins and my Grandaughter and to attend a geneology festival in Granville. The home and setting is just beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing, close to Granville,TN & Wildwood Marina. Be warned though you will not get cell phone service (there is WiFi). This was no problem for the adults but the teenager in our group wasn't happy. We will definitely rent the home again!

Amazing experience!!

It was a amazing experience, the house is unique, is like living in a museum, its really antique and originally beautiful, a lot of details and authentic decoration items, ❤, you have to be notice that cell phone networks are so poor.. but its a good WiFi, and also home PHONE available. So happy!!

Super cute, authentic country farmhouse.

Our family had a wonderful long weekend getaway here. Perfect location for Granville, just minutes from quaint downtown and the newly renovated Granville Marina! Nice, quiet location, didn't have to worry about kids being too loud outside. We really enjoyed taking a step back in time and just relaxing outside, visited the lake, went fishing, rented a pontoon one morning. (the lake was not busy with loud boats - very nice!) The Marina has been updated and is super cute! The restaurant was great as well! Thanks Cecilia for all your help with info on the area! We are already discussing when we may be able to go back sometime in the fall for another round at the Farmhouse. :)

Farming without the work

Very secluded and peaceful. House was clean and decorated beautifully throughout. The Farmhouse theme was present in every room. Hats off to the owners of this exquisitely quaint property. Everything was fully stocked and the PRICE was amazing! We would recommend this spot to anyone. Cummins Falls and others are close enough to see all in one day. The bluegrass band that plays in Granville every Saturday night is very good and worth a listen, Clearview Bluegrass Band. Although a storm interrupted our first night, for eight hours without electricity, we had a great time roughen it with flashlights. Four generations of our family, girls only, were there for the weekend and we ALL had a good time. Thank you, Cynthia from Indiana
