Aphrodite 3 is a comfortable, family house located in Pigi Village close to Rethymno.

It is a part of Pigi Paradise complex, where you can enjoy the facilities of the complex, such as the pool, the garden, the outdoor grill and etc.
By staying there, you can take a walk through the peaceful complex and you can feel the absolute natural beauty of the island. Pigi Paradise is an attractive place to spend your holiday, enjoying peace and quiet.

Pigi is a small village, on the island of Crete, 10km southeast of Rethymno city. The village is just above the village of Adele on the road to Arkadi monastery.
The name 'Pigi' means 'Source'. The village got its name from a source where a lot of water came out which was here centuries ago.
It lies in a fertile area with many olive groves. The distance to the beach is about three kilometres (Pigianos Kampos). In Pigianos Kampos there are many restaurants and hotels.
In Pigi there are several churches, some of which were built in the period between the 11th and 15th centuries. The elegant square of the village is embellished by the Monument to the Fallen of Pigi and Agios Dimitrios in the great battles of the 20th century. Close to Pigi there have been many important archaeological finds. The village has a nice square with kafeneions, tavernas, a bakery, a pharmacy, butcher shop and 2 mini-markets.
The location of Pigi Paradise is perfect to use as a base for various excursions throughout the island of Crete as its distance from the most famous island sights is very short.
Choosing to stay within these traditional and quiet surroundings gives the visitor a chance to taste Cretan Hospitality and get to know the history and the traditions of Crete.

You should definitely walk in the streets of the old town of Rethymno, where the old houses with the venetian doors and the minarets will take you on a journey through time. A plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops are waiting for you to explore them. At the edge of the old town you can visit Fortezza Castle, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. A stop to the Archeological museum and the Folklore Museum of Rethymno will complete your visit.
