Summary:

The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this 4-bedroom and 4-bathroom apartment, located at the heart of Barcelona's City Center, perfect for those traveling with children or business groups. The Eixample neighborhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Paseo de Gracia street, and 10 min away from Plaza Catalunya, the city centre of Barcelona.



The Space:

Welcome to this 150 m2 spacious and bright flat located next to the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. This four-bedrooms apartment that’s spacious, bright and has a nice organization of the rooms can be divided into two units, enjoying from privacy on each of both apartments (please note those are rented together and there is no option to rent them separately).



We are managers of other apartments in the building, really convenient for big families or business trips. Please note all apartments are almost identical, on layout, equipment and characteristics, but there might be some small changes on decoration.



⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.



APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:

The apartment has a capacity for up to 10 people distributed in 4 bedrooms:

Guest Access:

- The apartment is all for you, 100% privacy!

- After your reservation is confirmed, you will be requested to self-register via Chekin platform, where you will need to register all guests and pay the mandatory tourist taxes.

The Neighborhood:

The Eixample is a modernist district that stretches from Plaça de Catalunya and includes both residential and business areas. It is the neighbourhood where you can find Carrer de Valencia, in which the apartment is situated. It’s known for its grid system of straight streets, which was built in the 1860s to accommodate the city’s rising population. There are many restaurants and cafes in this region, which is full of modernist structures with stone and iron embellishments on their façade.



Getting Around:

The closest metro station is Passeig de Gracia (Lines 2, 3 & 4).

The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the train towards "Aeroport" at Passeig de Gracia. There are trains every 20min and it costs around 5€.



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.



*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***



Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs



Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Great location!

Overall my stay was good. Great location to walk to attractions and restaurants. Property manager was so nice to let us leave our luggage there before our checkin time, and also after checkout time. This place was very spacious and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots/pans. It would have been nice if they provided hand/bath soap and shampoo.

Great location

Not air conditioning working, the sewers from bathrooms smell really bad. There is nobody waiting when you arrived . Everything you may need would be handle from long distance (by phone). Not a good experience.

I'm sorry to hear that, especially when the description in the ad states that there is no air conditioning but fans. Besides, the virtual key system allows you to enter whenever you want but anyway I always offer a colleague to help you with the check-in.

Business trip for exhibition at FIRA

4 colleagues staying for a 5 day trip to visit a trade exhibition at the Fira Gran Via Exhibition centre. Perfect for our needs with an individual bedroom and bathroom each, bonus of balconies at both ends of building, dining room in one space, lounge in other end, 2 kitchens. Easy access into building and apartment with code at main door and bluetooth access to apartment. A few minor repairs are needed to decor to make this apartment spotless but nothing detracted from the space, was overall in good condition, nice and clean, and perfect for our group. 5-10 min walk to Universitat station made access to all areas of Barcelona and specifically the Fira very easy with a door to door travel time of appx 30 mins. Lots of facitlities nearby, nice restaurants, bars and cocktail bars, local supermarkets, etc. Felt a lot safer to be in this area than in the centre of Barcelona when having a walk in the evening

Bel emplacement

Excellent emplacement proche de la maison Batllo et de la Perdrera. Proche du centre avec le métro ou a pied. Seul bemol, les ustensiles de cuisine nettement insuffisants pour faire de la vrai cuisine. Un seul grand couteau de cuisine, et un économe reçu après récrimination auprès du gérant. Très bons équipements avec fours et machine à laver La chambre côté rue est un petit peu bruyante.

Sin aire acondicionado, desperfectos en el departamento, cubre colchón sucio, chapas rotas, sin olla

Está bien ubicado y el acceso funciona bien pero no fue una buena experiencia, mal equipado, hervidor con comida adentro, no había olla. Chapas malas, cortinas caída. La cafetera estaba desarmada y con algunas piezas quebradas, si funcionaba. Silla con respaldo quebrado, lavatorio tapado, agujero en la pared y en general las paredes sucias. No fue una buena experiencia, el departamento es muy caluroso y lamentablemente no hay aire acondicionado. Deberían arreglar desperfectos, pintarlo y supervisar aseo. Todo eso no hace tener una estadía y experiencia placentera.

Lamentamos que tu experiencia no haya sido la esperada. Nos sorprende especialmente leer este comentario, ya que durante toda tu estancia no recibimos ningún mensaje por tu parte informando sobre estos supuestos problemas. Si realmente el apartamento estaba en tan malas condiciones, habríamos agradecido que nos lo comunicaras para poder ayudarte o buscar soluciones durante tu visita. Respecto al aire acondicionado, el apartamento no dispone de él y está claramente indicado en el anuncio. Siempre recomendamos revisar bien las características antes de hacer una reserva. El apartamento está equipado para 10 personas, con dos cocinas completas. Si echabas algo en falta, nos lo podrías haber pedido sin problema. En cuanto al estado general del piso, entendemos que con el uso frecuente —especialmente en temporada alta— puede haber pequeños desperfectos, pero lo mantenemos de forma regular y hacemos renovaciones periódicas (pintura, mobiliario, etc.) cuando es posible.
