The Space:
We are delighted to open up our 155 m2 three-bedroom apartment to fellow travelers. Enjoy a fresh beverage on the terrace while making your plans around the city! This is our favorite place in the house, make yourself at home with family or friends. Youâll find everything you need to prepare a quick meal, prepare snacks for a day out to the beach or cook up in the fully-equipped kitchen.
â ïž VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 8 people distributed in 3 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 3: 1 Double bed
- Living room: Double sofa bed

- Small balconies overlooking Eixample accessed from the spacious and comfy living room
- Desktop area ideal for working remotely
- Quiet interior bedrooms, away from the busy street, ideal for a good night's rest
- 2.5 bathrooms
- TV and Wi-fi
- Central AC
- Elevator in building; you will need to walk up a couple stares to reach the apartment.
- Baby travel cot and high chair available under request.
- Bed linens (and comforters during winter season) and bath towels (one shower towel per guest) will be provided!
- My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.
- Paid parking off premises

The Neighborhood:
The Eixample is a modernist district that stretches from Plaça de Catalunya and includes both residential and business areas. It is the neighbourhood where you can find Carrer de Valencia, in which the apartment is situated. Itâs known for its grid system of straight streets, which was built in the 1860s to accommodate the cityâs rising population. There are many restaurants and cafes in this region, which is full of modernist structures with stone and iron embellishments on their façade.
The left side of the Eixample is the largest neighborhood in this district. It's a great area to explore on foot, with a wide variety of bars offering live music and local shops, as well as great terraces where you can kick back and relax over a coffee. In this neighborhood, the large number of restaurants that offer a type of cuisine with a more avant-garde style stands out. In this neighborhood there are the Can BattleÂĄs three buildings (currently the Industrial School), the former prison La Modelo, the park Joan MirĂł located in the emplacement of the former city's slaughterhouse, the bullfighting ring Las Arenas, which is nowadays a commercial center, and the Casa Golferichs.
Getting Around:
The location is a transit - oriented street lined with stunning modernist architecture. There are many stores, cafés, and restaurants in the area, and you can walk around Paseo de Gracia in 10 minutes or Las Ramblas and the Gothic quarter in 20 minutes.
The closest metro station is Passeig de Gracia (Lines 2, 3 & 4) or Plaça Universitat (Lines 1 & 2).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the train towards "Aeroport" at Passeig de Gracia. There are trains every 20min and it costs around 5âŹ.
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 6.25⏠per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.
*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***
Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100⏠charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400⏠and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100⏠charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100⏠+ all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.
