Excellent Location

The location is perfect, the condo is very well equipped, beautiful and well kept. We really enjoyed the large patio with superb views. Great host and communication. Would come back.

Perfect location, great communication

Had a wonderful stay at Le Bartavel. Large space, well maintained and clean. Very responsive property managers with great communication. Location was perfect: 200m to local bus stop for access to ski lifts, right in the heart of downtown Chamonix for restaurants and shops. Overall highly recommend.

Bartavel apartment

The staff at CAY are excellent. Getting in to the property was well organised and easy . Russell was great and changed the bed linen every week and left us extra towels. We had no problems at all during our stay. Keep up the good work.

Fully equipped, spacious apartment in a great location

Le Bartavel apartment is in a great location, with a pleasant roof deck offering beautiful views of the mountains. Step out the door to dozens of cafes, shops, and a well-stocked grocery store. The bathrooms and kitchen were squeaky clean, modern, and well-equipped. CAY's team was responsive at every step and provided a generous welcome gift on arrival. The stairs are inconvenient, but quite manageable.

Spacious and welcoming

Almost everything is perfect. During summer we felt uncomfortably hot since there is no AC. I would recommend to do some work on the building entrance and staircase its quite long and narrow. We had tough times bringing our luggages up/down during checkout/in.

Excellent Location, Roomy Apartment

Apartment was exactly as described. Spacious kitchen and living room. Very well equipped. Deck was a nice option. Since is it's set back slightly from the shops and restaurants, noise was never an issue. Because it's in the pedestrian area of town, the parking was a few minutes walk away, but no big deal. Just an FYI - it's the penthouse, so it's 3 flights of stairs. All in all, will look to come back when Chamonix is in my travel plans again.

Beautiful apartment with amazing views in the perfect location.

We really loved staying in this stylish yet comfortable apartment, it’s very well equipped and beautifully decorated with stunning views from almost all windows. The owners leave condiments and other useful household products for your use which I thought generous of them. The bathrooms and hallway have underflooor heating and I suspect the open plan living dining area also has but if so, it was not working while we were there and a substitute plug in radiator heater was not an adequate replacement, there are excellent easily regulated radiators in the bedrooms and the log burner is relatively easy to use. We stayed here as an adult family and we’ve all agreed we would come back in a heartbeat.

Hermoso departamento en inmejorable ubicación!

Nos encantó en departamento amplio, cómodo, lleno de luz y con una ubicación inmejorable. Todos los accesorios que cubren las necesidades, excelente equipo de sonido, cocina muy completa y muy acogedor. El equipo de Chamonix All Year fue muy atento y rápido en responder nuestras necesidades. El edificio donde se encuentra el departamento es viejo y no remodelado, tiene una entrada obscura y sucia. Pero una vez dentro del departamento todo es distinto: limpio y luminoso

Incredible property in an awesome location!

This property is exactly as advertised. Spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath with a large open plan living/ kitchen/dining room with fireplace. Truly, although it’s an apartment.. it feels like a small house. Very roomy and open feeling with the massive sliding doors opening onto a large patio and gorgeous views of the town and mountains. The location is perfect. Walking distance to every. Well equipped and stylishly decorated.. I highly recommend this property!

Très bel appartement

Cet appartement est superbe. Resterait quelques éléments à revoir comme les lames de terrasse qui ont un peu souffert et qui mériteraient à être changées.Les parties communes ne sont pas à la hauteur du standing de l'appartement, il faut faire attention à la lumière que l'on ne peut pas allumer de l'étage de l'appartement ce qui rend la première partie de la descente dans le noir... mais tout ceci n'a pas entaché la qualité de notre séjour qui était au top ! Échanges avec L'équipe de l'agence essentiellement par mail ou chat très efficace.

Great property

Would highly recommend and would definitely stay in this apartment again. Simply stunning views, all mod cons & facilities. Lovely decor. Very central location in Chamonix. Only down side is all the steps and no lift, but this was made clear before we booked, so were well aware.

Perfect Location.....Great Views.....Super Apartment

My girlfriends and I really enjoyed our short stay in this lovely apartment. There is plenty of space and having three bathrooms gave us the privacy we wanted. The kitchen is really well equipped with loads of utensils (not always the case when renting) and we enjoyed cooking/chatting/drinking wine in the open-plan living area with the wood burning fire crackling away. It was really cosy and we could have stayed in all day. The location was very convenient and everything we wanted was on the doorstep. We especially enjoyed the amazing cakes from the patisserie directly below, which were impossible to resist. If they are lucky, I will bring my husband and kids next winter...!

Beautifully decorated and perfectly situated base in the centre of Chamonix

I was lucky enough to steal a couple of restful days in Chamonix on my way from Geneva to an exhibition in Budapest. I usually stay in hotels but since I had several commissions to prepare for, on this occasion I needed somewhere with more space. I'm a contemporary artist/sculptor by profession (www.levine-art.co.uk) and generally find it hard to locate places that appeal to my taste, but this apartment was really exceptional. The owners have combined modern Italian furniture with design classics (the Harry Bertoia bar stools are a personal favourite) and added some original paintings and photos to create a space that's both cool and welcoming. The original wooden ceilings and exposed beams are beautiful and the whole place has a really nice vibe. It's bang in the centre of town, so everything you need is within a few minutes walk. There are two nice supermarkets (Casino & SuperU) within 100m and both stock a good selection of local and international products and some great value French wine. The 6* Mont Blanc Hotel is right next door and one night I enjoyed a delicious meal in the Matafan restaurant (and a long session at their very luxurious bar), before staggering home, which took all of 2 minutes. The next night I ordered take-away from the Chinese restaurant across the street (someone kindly left a menu in a drawer) and since it's wasn't very busy (I guess September is low season), the owner offered to deliver it for me...! The views across the valley from the large terrace are superb and I enjoyed watching the cable car ascend to the Aiguille du Midi and the cog train slowly working it's way towards the Mer de Glace. The weather wasn't particularly warm during my stay, but I imagine sitting out in the summer would be a real joy. It's a few years since I've skied, but I'm really hoping to get back next winter to see what it's like with some snow on the ground. I think it will be perfect. Thanks again to the Chamonix-All-Year team for recommending this great place.

Beautiful apartment in the very Centre of Chamonix

This is a beautiful 3 bedroom apartment in the very heart of Chamonix. It has a fabulous kitchen and large living/dining area and a terrace with spectacular view. Everything is in pristine condition. The only drawback is there’s no lift, so for older people could be difficult to carry suitcases up to the apartment. Overall it’s been a joy to stay for a week in the apartment. Will be back.

A cosy nest in the vibrant Chamonix

We have spent 2 fantastic weeks in le Bartavel, a very luxury penthouse in the heart of the vibrant Chamonix city center. The apartment set up is just perfect with a very nice chalet atmosphere. We spent very good time relaxing on the large terrasse which has a fantastic view on the Mont Blanc massif.
