Confortable condo de 2 chambres avec vue sur l'océan et vue sur la piscine intérieure, le bain à remous et la cuisine extérieure. Courte promenade à la plage, toboggan aquatique et piscine extérieure. 1 lit Queen dans Master et 2 Twins dans la salle secondaire. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, cuisinière et laveuse / sécheuse. Récemment rénové avec un sol en bois lamellé dans le salon, du carrelage dans la cuisine, de nouveaux meubles et du linge de lit Avez-vous besoin de rester pendant un mois ou plus? Cette unité pourra accueillir des invités sur une base de plusieurs mois. Les réservations de 5 nuits ou plus incluent le linge de maison. Location du samedi au samedi.

Fun Family Vacation

Just OK

Property was not clean. One bed was broken. It was not clearly stated about linens so I had to rent linens last minute. Our unit was a far walk to the beach although the property advertised beach front. I will choose somewhere else next time.

Fun trip

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Beach access is great. Pool and waterslide were great for the kids. Visited during July 4th week so pool and parking were very crowded. I like the condo, we had stayed in before, we were excited to see the furniture had been updated, but the same extremely uncomfortable beds were still there. Unit was clean. Dishes were just kind of thrown in cabinets and some were obviously unwashed and put away. We choose to just spend some time to clean ourselves instead of going through the hassle of complaining. But to us, this is a very expensive rental and don't feel like you should find dirty dishes and would expect more comfortable beds. But overall great trip. Loved the view of the ocean. We will most likely stay at APATB again, but will likely choose another unit unless the beds are upgraded. In summary, New beds a touch more housekeeping gives 5 stars. I'd rate between 3-4 for our trip. Thanks!

Family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fun place with lots to do. Staff were very friendly at the rental office and the resort. Went during prime season and things were very busy. The cleanliness of the rental could definitely be improved but we didn't feel it was bad enough to complain we just took it upon ourselves to pick up a few supplies and take care of it ourselves. The dishwasher was packed full on our arrival but at least they were clean. The master bed isn't very comfortable. But overall we really enjoyed our stay. The beach access ramps are very nice. The kids loved the waterslide in the pool.

Excellent beach getaway

The condo is perfectly located within a short walking distance to the private beach access. My granddaughters spent their days searching for sea shells, using the outdoor pool and slide, then enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub in the evening. There are plenty of great restaurants on the island to suit everyone's taste. Make sure to check out Fort Macon less than a mile away. The staff were all great to work with during our stay.

Worked for us

This unit was outdated, but we could see that in the pictures. The unit did need some painting & wall repair....which we could not see in the pictures. And the TV only had a few stations. Basic cable would have been nice. Overall, for the time we spent in the room, it worked well enough for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was adequate for what we needed. But I think some type of kitchen towels and dish soap should be provided. I was told linens and towels were not provided so I did bring those. I did not bring any type of kitchen towels or soap with us. I have stayed at places before that provided a small bottle of soap and a kitchen towel. This would have been helpful. The room was nice but very dated. Not sure I would stay in this particular room. Cindy at Realty World was VERY nice! Would reserve a room with them again!

A Place at the Beach over Memorial Day Weekend

Nice rental. Everything worked. And, it wasn't too far from the beach. Seemed like there was a leak in the seam of the bathtub in the guest bath. One light bulb was out in the kitchen. Provided furnishings were fine. A couple of simple porch chairs on the porch would have been a plus. However, relative to past beach rentals my family has had, it is not clear to me why there wasn't even one complimentary bar of travel soap, or 2-3 dishwasher detergent capsules, or one small packet of laundry detergent.. This may not be reflective of the owner, but of the accountant at the property manager. Wifi was good. However, the network name on the card was wrong, although the password was correct after some trial and searching available networks. It was never clear exactly what the amenities were. There was nothing in the condo that explained. So, my overall assessment is that the property was OK and served its purpose. Although, I think it was overpriced for the three days we were there.

summer vacation at A Place at the Beach

I have spent awesome vacation time during previous years at A Place at the Beach in different units . This is the first time for our family of 4 spent at this unit. Good location ,but poor maintenance .Empty bottles found behind furniture on arrival. Broken glass dangerous for kids not removed. Dishwasher detached and having to holding it while open and closing it. No cable for the last 2 days ( rainy days, therefore needed for kids entertainment ). If you are ok with 2 stars places to stay due to poor maintenance you would be fine. 4 stars given to my stay satisfaction because A Place at the Beach department complex deserves it .

Great Amenities, This Specific Condo, just ok

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My 2 young kids and I drove up late. Arriving on the island around 10:30 at night. We found the rental agency and got our keys with no issue. We followed the directions to the Condo building, but part of the instructions said to check into the office to get a parking pass and directions to our spcific unit. The office was borded up and dark. They had boards with signs saying office and an arrow. I tried to follow the arrow, but could never find the office. It was late and very dark, my kids and I were very tired. I called the rental company and said I could not find the office and didn't know where our room was. The after hours person, asked me it is was an emergency (REALLY?!) I said, myself and my two young kids are past bedtime and need a place to sleep, so Yes it is an emergency. While waiting for a return call. We walked around the building and saw a sign that showed room numbers. We saw the room we were supposed to be in and decided to venture on our own. We looked around for about 20 minutes and found the room. The room had not one piece of paper product in it. It only had coffee filters. No paper towels or toilet paper. Luckily no one had to poop all night, as we were not going back out at 11pm. The kitchen setup was akward, the kids bedroom smelled like mold, and the place just felt dirty. Once we got settled, then the rental company called to check on us. My bed squeeked for a long time, any time I moved. I will never use that condo unit or that rental company again, if I can help it. I however loved the overall condos in the building as well as the amenities. The pool, playground, and direct access to the beach was perfect!! As we checked out on the last day, I called the company asking if it was ok to get out, but spend time at the beach before dropping off the keys. The person said yes that is ok. So that is what we did, only to have the company call when the keys were past due, to ask if we were bringing them.

Great Facilities, but everything else needed improvement!!

PROS:Loved the pool, loved the playground. Would return for those things alone. CONS: Would not likely use the same agency to book it in this same condo. It was a little dusty and dirty. We (myself and two young kids) arrived at 10:30 at night. The directions for finding the office in the middle of the night was very poor. We walked around the building and finally found the the condo. There was no paper towels, no toilet paper, and only coffee filters in the condo. One bedroom smelled like mildew, the walls looked dirty, and there were screws sticking out of the floor that caught my foot a couple times. All the beds made lots of noise. Just not the best experience I have had with rentals.

The elevator was broken the whole weekend even though the Rental agent assured me it was working. Have an elderly person with knee issues and being on the 3rd floor w as sawful. The master bedroom mattress was so awful that we opted for the sofa and floor Saturday night.

Not a view of the ocean on the first floor but closer to the parking lot and pool, etc....Very hot in the hallway with no breeze on the 3rd floor. Plus these heavy doors to pass thru because of the fire hazards, etc... Tuff to lug up your stuff, groceries,etc...

Memorial Day Girls Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was clean with good floor plan and decoration. Very beachy. No extras-- BYO toilet paper, paper towels, everything. Kitchen had new appliances-- in fact a new stove came during our stay without prior warning Condo complex is nice, but dated-- rusted fixtures in kitchen and bath, plumbing leak into lower unit from ours on final night of our stay. TV was not hooked up and we never did get it working. Lightbulb out in living room; had to replace. Prior to check in, it would be good if these kinds of things were checked. Girls LOVED the pool and slide; live band at pool on Sunday.
